Absolutely love Lo-Lo Chinese! Been using them for years. The guy they have answering the phone is a breath of fresh air, happy, helpful..his telephone manner is spot on. Food always, hot and not too greasy like some we have tried in the past. They are more than happy to tweak things a little aswell, I don’t like onions so they leave those out for me.

Polite, friendly helpful service, quick delivery, great food, never had anything that doesn't taste good, don't like ordering from anywhere else, been using them for a long time

Worked all over the country. This is one of the best ever! Food has flavour and, taste. Portions are excellent. Food is piping hot. I'm about 7 miles away in the countryside.

Second time I have been here and the most recent was lovely jublee. Food was very nice and service prompt. Think I'll use lo lo as my 'usual' from now on. Lots of parking space outside. Good food and venue.

Food was poor. szechuan chicken was slimy and had no flavour to it, ribs were fatty and chewy. duck in plum was also poor and weirdly was cooked with chunks of pineapple. Chow mein wasn't great but the quality of the chicken was much better. Service was okay but there was loads of arguing amongst the chefs in the back. Would avoid in future

Been a regular here for a long time, food has always been bang on. Can't fault it really, not sure why there are some bad reviews.

Ordered 25 pounds worse of Chinese tonight my food come the rice and chow main had a very very bad taste like it was off. which only left us with chicken and chips. I rang the restaurant and explained and ask for a refund and that I would drop the food to them. They said they would only refund me for the rice and chow main and not the rest of my order. I'm sorry but if u order a Chinese u want a Chinese u don't wanna sit and eat chicken and chips. The lad on the phone was nice trying to speak to his manager but I ask to speak to the manager she was very rude. Please don't order from this place if u u don't wanna get a rude manager and end up with a bad belly. As I tasted this food please pray for me tomorrow

I’ve been ordering from Lo Lo Chinese a long time, today they lost me as a customer, sent me a spring roll that tasted like bleach and stunk of it, when I told them they offered to send 2 more which I declined, the meal cost me almost £50 and was ruined nothing tasted like it usually does it was like it was from a different Chinese. They’ve now sent me back the £7 I paid for the spring rolls but it ruined our whole meal and I’m disgusted at there customer service avoid at all costs they’ve clearly decided to order in cheaper quality food and it’s affecting them badly I think all regular customers will notice soon. Black bean sauce was flavourless, I admit the crispy chilli beef was still good, and the balls were fine, but everything else was shocking as if it was from yesterday no flavour and I’m actually livid, it’s ruined our whole atmosphere in the house and spoiled the evening, that’s half a days wage I invested in the most disappointing meal I’ve ever encountered, good bye Lo Lo I’m finding a new Chinese, so will my family as we all used to eat from you, not anymore. And I’m posting it on a viral TikTok account too, you should have treated me as a valued customer, but as you didn’t I’m going to invest some time in losing you custom

18th August 2022 6.30pm Worst chow mein we have ever had. Stodgy and food was disgusting all stuck together.Phoned and complained but was fobbed off. Never had any complaints with their food before.

The food was bland. 3 different types of chow mien all tasted the same. The satay chicken was inedible, covered in a weird gelatinous sweet jelly, not a sign of peanut anywhere. Disgusting and wish I hadn't wasted my money.

We stayed at a hotel on the Leas at Folkestone the weekend, and as they only served breakfasts we decided on a chinese take away we googled and read the reviews on Lo-Lo so decided to order the lady on the phone was so friendly & helpful, the food arrived on time it was the best Beef Curry & Singapore Fried Rice we have ever tasted the portions were generous & it was piping hot we, wish we only lived closer as we would be eating from here all the time compliments to the Chef & all the staff well done

Hungry around 8 and went here and grabbed some salt and pepper chips. Was brilliant - very addictive, especially those Garlic pieces - I could eat a tin of it! A big portion and only £3.50. Unfortunately didn’t take a picture of it, I finished all of it on my way home!! I would recommend their salt and pepper dishes to people

Ordered a meal for collection at a set time and it was ready and freshly cooked upon our arrival. I made several changes to the standard dishes, i.e. no onion, no veg, etc., and they got everything spot on. The meal was very enjoyable and I'll certainly be a repeat customer.

We have ordered a takeaway from this place several times either directly or through Just-Eat. I vary what we have to try different things are we are certainly not disappointed.Some of the reviews of here are two and more years old and as far as I can see things have changed. maybe ownership. As the pandemic lockdown continues and even after I will be ordering from Lo-Lo.

The food was good, but the people cooking in the back were all screaming at each other and the door makes literally the worst screeching noise, waiting while listening to the nail downs the chalkboard door and the screaming family make me almost leave without the food.

Have had two takeaway set dinners for two delivered. Both superb. Huge portions and very tasty. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone locally to collect or have delivered.

Had a lovely meal from here as I had my parents round, they said one of the nicest Chinese's they have had for a long time.

I rang for a home delivery this evening 01/08/2020 to be greeted by the most welcoming young lady who cheerfully efficiently and politely took my order. I regularly order from our lovely local Chinese take away but have sometimes been disappointed with the greeting over the telephone But not tonight well done young lady excellent customer service and only your first night Wow.

Food was like rubber sauce tastes of washing up liquid all looked like they just reheaded it 😑will never use these ever again

Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had !! Awful taste , only thing passable was the egg fried rice .

My Shredded chilli beef was cold, chips weren’t cooked properly, still hard, the prawn crackers were yellow, meaning they weren’t fresh, the salt and chilli chicken wings still had blood inside, and don’t buy the soups. I had chicken and mushroom soup and my hubby had Chinese noodle soup, guess what, they both taste exactly the same! Only thing they do different is what they put in. My chicken and mushroom soup was tinned mushrooms and frozen/processed chicken. And a basic broth flavouring, certainly not a Chinese soup!

We have ordered from here before and the food has been generally hit and miss, we had food delivered to us on a previous Sunday and the Pancake Rolls were black as though they had been cooked in old engine oil but the rest of the food was fine so we just took it as a bad day in the office for the chef that day, however we had another delivery from these people last Sunday 11/11/2018 and the food was absolutely awful with the Won Ton Soup being very slimy and sour and the Chow Mein was so anemic looking it looked as though it had been hanging around from the day before or something and we threw most of it away it made us both quite ill and guess what even though we put our case to Just Eat who were very helpful the restaurant are'nt the slightest bit interested so bottom line we'll never use or recommend them again.. beware people spend your hard earned cash elsewhere!

Terrible food, Rice was very sticky, and as for the lemon chicken, breaded chicken on a bed of lettuce no pineapple and a thick goo sauce to pour over, will not be going their again.

Have ordered from here a number of times and food is always hot and tasty, have never been disappointed, vegetarian options are good too. Highly recommended.

I ordered a simple meal consisting of Cantonese/Hong Kong Style Chicken, Egg Fried Rice, and Fried Chicken with Coriander.Arrived early, which could well mean that it was microwaved, and sent out.The majority of the food was to be expected, but the Fried Chicken with Coriander... Where do I begin. It was the same kind of Grey Breaded chicken you would expect in a kebab shop, beaten with a masher, and then cooked... NOT A TRACE OF CORIANDER about it. And it was covered in Sweet chili Sauce served with SHREDDED LETTUCE.I even rang back to ask where the the coriander was in the dish, as there evidently wasn't any, and the girl working there (Very Helpful) asked the kitchen, whilst on the phone, and got a reply from the kitchen saying ... "Thats how it comes".... Either the chef hasn't got a clue about the ingredients or there Is something seriously wrong with the food. Will not be ordering again. 0/10 for the food.

I have been meaning to try this place for a little while so ordered over the phone last night. The ordering process itself was fine but I arrived to find an unwelcoming atmosphere as various members of staff shouted angrily at each other at the top of their voices. I waited some time after my meal should have been ready only to find out, via more shouting, that it had been ready for a while but that the lady on the till had failed to notice. She didn't appear to be having a great time and I can hardly blame her if that is the way she is usually treated.The food ranged from the just-about-acceptable (crispy duck with pancakes) to the downright inedible. One dish I ordered contained bean sprouts that in my view were well past their best. The ends were blackened and they looked and tasted mouldy. I had to throw the whole lot in the bin. If it were just for the poor service and the duck, I'd say this place should have been called so-so, rather than Lo Lo. But I am afraid that considering that I had to pay nearly £20 for a dinner of which only half could be eaten, that it gets demoted to a straight no-no. Avoid at all costs.

Placed order around 7.00 Sat night and was delivered in less than 1/2 hr. Sorry to say that some of the food was terrible. food appeared to be reheated and the beef in black bean was so full of salt it was impossible to eat. Very disappointed.
