China Kitchen never disappoints! The food is amazing, arriving quickly and piping hot every time. The customer service is outstanding, and the staff are always lovely and attentive. Highly recommend!

For those wondering about the cash only problem, you can download the “alleat” app and pay with your card or PayPal there. Was down visiting my Girlfriend in Brighton for 5 days, and we wanted a Chinese. Both never had one from this area and wanted to make sure we ordered from somewhere good, and that’s what we got. Order was completed and delivered very fast, polite deliver driver. We had sesame prawn toast, satay chicken skewers, mini veg spring rolls, egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, a pot of satay sauce and sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken which was all delightful. Classic Chinese takeaway taste and quality, crispy chicken balls, spring rolls and sesame prawn toast, sweet and spicy satay sauce, well cooked chicken, fluffy rice and the sweet and sour sauce is magnificent. If you’re after a lovely Chinese in the area, this is definitely an easy and good choice. Highly recommend 👍

I ordered a Chinese tonight and it came within 30 minutes! The food was lovely and I wrote in the notes section that it was my boyfriends birthday and If they could maybe write a note and an adorable young girl wrote a note saying happy birthday and was going to sing to him at the door. So thoughtful and kind and really made our evening! 10/10 would recommend.

Chicken had bones in and was fatty and prawn crackers where burnt but the chips was nice

We always order from here the prawn crackers are yummy the curry is good and the chicken chow mien and egg fried rice delicious! Haven’t ordered since it’s had the refurb, just hoping it’s the same people.

Best chinese out or the dozen or so I've been to in Brighton, but since accepting cards became ubiquitous during Covid, it seems ironic that many Chinese takeaways are the only businesses still remaining "cash only". Why is that? Should HMRC pay a visit? PAY YOUR TAXES!

Order food cost over £55 and it was terrible FIRST they have changed the chicken curry sauce it is now thick and stodgy. SECOND they put very big bits of mushrooms in the curry and not small so you get less meat THIRD they used FROZEN PRAWNS in the special fried rice and have added other things (but this is not on the menu) and FORTH the CHICKEN in the CHOW MEIN was FROZEN CHICKEN too FIFTH when I phoned them up to talk about it all the lady keep saying was you got it wrong and have mistaken it for something else

First time ordering from China Kitchen and was impressed with the quality of the food. Good portion size, tasty authentic flavour and friendly service. Will make this our regular Chinese from now on!

Thought would give this place a try and discovered the best takeaway had in a long long time, after using same place for years!

I have been using these for 40 + years and always been very impressed. Since it's been taken over it's gone downhill. My rice was a solid lump that could not be separated and the whole meal was cold. I will not be using them again

The only word is superb. I've lived in Brighton all my life,since 1961. At last a high quality Chinese is back again. I'll be ordering again and recommending you to all my friends. Ta Tony

I would rate this as the best Chinese takeout in Brighton the food is delicious nicely spiced and seasoned and portion sizes are good. There are some very good Chinese takeaways in Brighton but this one is definitely the best.

Under new ownership now and really good food. Love the crispy fried beef, best in Brighton I think and the Singapore Noodles really good too. I would recommend it.

Good food with a variety of dishes that taste and pace to your heart’s content even through tough times as a takeaway shop. A style of Chinese cuisine that’s warm and delicious in its own way. Great staff service along having a 100% clean area ready for deliveries by any phone call.

Food was dreadful!!! crispy chilli beef tasted like s**t, the salt and pepper squid was off and the egg fried rice! don’t even get me started with that my dead hamster could cook better than that! absolute disgrace never again would i eat from this dive of a takeaway! appalling DO NOT EAT!!!

Every thing very bland Very watery

We have been using this place for over thirty years, but will not be using them again. They opened at 5 and we ordered at 5.05 for delivery. We called at 18.18 and was told the traffic was bad. We live less than 15 minutes from the shop. It finally arrived at 18.27 and was lukewarm. Disgusting

It was late in the evening on a Friday night. I can only presume they imagine every customer will be too drunk to notice the rubbish they serve up. I ordered mushroom chow mein and got a tub of bean sprouts in sweet and sour sauce. Disgusting.

Been ordering here for years. Great food and at generally lower prices compared to other take aways. They don't accept card payments which is a shame.

Do not eat here!! Took over an hour and a half to get to us, chicken balls were bloody as not cooked enough and noodles in small containers. Called to complain and was told chicken should look like that (?!) they do not have a helicopter to get food to us and noodles come in small containers. She was incredibly rude. I will never ever order from there again!! Do your stomach a favour and order from somewhere else!!

The food was poor. The spring rolls were soggy and mushy inside, the crispy shredded beef was all crisp, no beef. The Kung PO chicken looked like it had been imported from outer space, The Singapore rice noodles were okay. I will not be returning.

It is a shame that so many Chinese are just clones of each other and very rarely does the food really resemble anything from China.... it's all pretty packaged and tastes all the same. Over sugared and I some instances totally bland. This outlet fits into that catagory. Walk down the road another 100 metres and there you will find its clone. But quick reasonable and friendly .

This was close to where we were staying so thought we'd give it a go. The first time I should have turned away was when a stranger came up to someone looking at the menu in the window and told npherbtherebwas a better one just down the road. The second giveaway was how unclean it seemed on the inside. The food was hot. My wife liked the fact that the chicken and pineapple had fresh pineapple, my curry was a sweet glutinous mess and my son's sweet and sour had the most awful heavy batter. Definitely one to miss!
