Ho Fun noodles not authentic and very greasy - used pad thai style noodles and not ho fun

Ordered through Deliveroo. I must say it was the best takeaway we have had in a while. Felt very fresh and not as greasy as other takeaways. Decent portion sizes too.

I ordered from here via Uber Eats as I was craving fried rice and it was just before Lunar New Year - the not so great Google rating had me worried initially, but I didn’t need to be, as the food was delicious! The King Prawn fried rice was delicious, had that signature smoky wok flavour, wasn’t greasy, and was a great portion, with plenty of prawns. I also go Szechuan stir fried veg and that was delicious and spicy. I didn’t order them but a small bag of prawn crackers were thrown in with the deliver and very much appreciated! I’ll definitely order from here again in the future.

Friendly service, delicious and healthy food at good prices. What more could you want. My new favourite local Chinese take away! :D

Have had 3 takeaways from Tiger Lounge now and each time knocked my socks off. Personal favourite is their salt and pepper chips. Food is delicious and each item we order we love. Will always chose to eat from here when in the area!

Delicious food phoned order first was ready in 15 minutes my girlfriend and I had chicken chow mein, chicken curry, special fried rice, sweet and sour sauce and not forgetting the free prawn crackers.

We've used this lovely takeaway for 7 years and tonight was the most disappointing meal. It was late by 15mins, all food salty and greasy!! I'm only giving this negative review because you need to up your game...a takeaway is a hard earned treat for us. Please do better. T and B

Stopped by to get something to eat after a long day at work, food was prepared fresh, incredibly quickly & was throughly enjoyable. Service was fantastic & friendly, the two people we met couldn't have been more friendly!

Walked past and a member of staff cleared her throat loudly and spat out in front of me. I shook my head and she nodded hers. Think twice before eating there.

Very very disappointed. We used to get food here regularly + it was perfect. Today the chicken was dry, only half a pot of watery lemon sauce + special rice was just boiled rice with a few bits of chicken thrown in. I used to love their special fried rice - full of meats, peas etc almost a meal in itself. Service excellent just a shame about the food. Wont be using again + cannot recommend to anyone else unless they up their game. Sorry.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had the displeasure of not eating! Absolute disgusting! Friday 13th curse! I ordered housed special garlic rice, crispy chilli beef and mixed starters with a request for no chicken satay. After an hour waiting I was gutted to find that they had doubled up on chicken satay and ommited other items, complained via uber eats and was refunded for that but then as I tried to make the most of the rest, the crispy beef was so chewy and tough it was inedible, meat in rice was fatty and not nice, spring rolls over cooked and tasteless so the only edible part of my order was the actual rice that I could pick out from between the solid lumps and the seaweed and as I’d already complained about wrong items I couldn’t complain about the whole meal, avoid at all costs if you don’t want to be thoroughly disappointed out of picked and left hungry! My partner is currently eating a yogurt for his dinner! Thanks for nothing tiger lounge If I could give -20 I would! 🤮😬💩😫

After Uber Eats absolutely robbed us of £70, saying that they’d delivered when they hadn’t..these guys were absolute diamonds, looked after us and had the best food…. If you’re going to order go straight to them, amazing service and great food xxx

Don't even want to give 1 star as we didn't receive our food from Deliveroo. Was told it's not their fault however as the customer it's not mine either. No customer service at all. What's really disappointing is that we are/were really regular customers

We order from here regularly and have never been disappointed. My favourite is the Salt and Chili Chicken...just delicious! Quick and friendly service and a fair price.

Never came they delivered it to the wrong house and then gave me an earful when I told them. Said their delivery driver was a professional, accused me of trying to defraud th, and handed it off to just eat. I dont think I will even get the delivery charge back such bad service definitely avoid.

Bland no taste. I only went there as everyone else was closed. After going to China, and having amazing food. This was the blandest dregs ever. Unless you have eroded your taste buds avoid!

Never done a review before but this experience I had to share. Have ordered from here many times before and the quality of the food is better than some other places (hence 2 star and not 1)More on the service that was disappointing, placed order on Uber Eats at 4pm Saturday afternoon for delivery at 8pm that evening. Order all accepted and happy days.Table laid and all plates warm and ready when I looked online to see if on way only to find the order had been CANCELLED at 7.30pm!!! No explanation or notification so had to rush another order in from somewhere else which obviously on a Saturday night took ages. Can't leave review on Uber Eats so came here to make sure others are aware this can happen.Not a happy man and they have lost my future business.

Waited 2 hours for the food to arrive, it was nearly 10pm when they eventually turned up. This was my go to Chinese but the last 2 times the delivery has been so late. Time to find a new place.

Excellent takeaway recently. Large portions that were not only tasty but piping hot. Delivered quickly, will most certainly be using them as my go to Chinese takeaway in the area. Great job

First time of buying from here and it was perfection I had the steamed rice and king prawn curry and it was absolutely gorgeous, very fresh, hot when delivered and lots of it, I would absolutely recommend this takeaway.

Very poor quality food we had take away it was horrible rice was mushy. It ruined our evening as a family

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had, ordered veggie chicken and veggie beef dishes and had to call to double check they were all made of bean curd as they tasted so real! Lovely flavour, great price and turned up earlier than expected. Excellent service, will be returning.

Great food, really good quality - decent chunks of meat, nicely seasoned & not greasy at all. The negative reviews have been about delivery but they were honest with us when we rang up about long wait times so we went to collect & it only took 20 mins.

I ordered from here on Saturday through just eat- not even an hour after finishing, I was violently sick. I was ill the rest of the evening. My partner was also experiencing stomach cramps. £26 spent on a take away I couldn’t keep down. Tried to report to just eat and have called tiger lounge today but they are closed on Tuesdays. Will be requesting a full refund

My favourite Chinese takeaway. Love their hot and sour soup. Mouth fulls of joy when the weather sucks.

Stayed in Hove for the weekend and just wanted a takeaway for the evening for ease. Not from the area so took a chance on here as it was only a short walk round the corner. Had a selection of dishes, all were perfectly fine and cooked well, no complaints. Went to collect myself so there was no issues with heat loss with delivery etc

I have been a loyal customer for years, but have been very disappointed today due to the poor customer service of the person on the phone, due to their rudeness. We ordered our food at 6:55 and have been waiting for our food for 2 hours!!! My son is starving and they have the audacity to turn up 2 hours late, god knows what they put in the food. I had rang then several times to see what was going on and to cancel my order as it had already been too long, but they had declined or ignored my calls continuously!! I’m never one to write reviews for places but this was completely out of order and a waste of my time when I could have been enjoying some lovely food for the past 2 hours but instead was waiting for my food which had taken FOREVERRR!!! Order at your own risk as they are usually ok but from this time of me ordering from them i will no longer be a customer of theirsVery disappointed!!!

The chicken in both dishes was suspect as to whether it was even chicken it was rubbery texture with a shiny plastic looking finish and the chicken in the sweet and sour was of an square identical shape definitely processed something more like Tofu than chicken. Would never recommend or use again

Tiger Lounge make the best sweet and sour chicken Hong-Kong style! I tried many different places but it wasn't as tasty as from the Tiger Lounge. I'm regular and will definitely come back for more soon. Thank you xx

Really over cooked rice. Huge, hard chicken balls and ribs had little flavour. Had to argue to get a few bag of prawn crackers even though meal was over £15

I've been getting take away from this establishment for a few years now. The food is generally quite tasty and authentic, but I'm marking it right down on value ... The portion sizes are incredibly small and the cost is very high ! This place is not in the centre of Brighton but on a Portslade backwater road and they urgently need to look at the very poor value they're offering their customers. I like the food but may well go elsewhere in future as I'm sick of the poor value of this place.

We regularly get a takeaway from here. Reliably good. Reasonable price compared to other takeaways. Delivery times can vary but we allow for that. Love the meat pancake rolls.

Was recommend this by my daughter as our favourite Chinese had closed down ☹but this has replaced very nicely . The food was really good and when it arrived it was so hot. That's a bonus. Will definitely have this as our favourite Chinese takeaway now.

Ordered 2 items, a seafood mixed starter (bland, greasy) & a king prawn rice - this was what prompted us to leave a review. Almost £6 for a big container of overcooked stodgy rice with a few dry peas & some prawns that tasted of absolutely nothing. First & last time we'll be ordering from this place

Somos vegetarianos y regularmente desde Tiger Salón y pedimos nos quedamos impresionados por la variedad de comida vegetariana y la frescura de las verduras. . . Utilizamos para ordenar el vegetarianas seitan alternativa (pollo y ternera) y me encantó el satay brochetas etc. La última 3x que pedimos desde aquí nuestra comida estaba tibia, nadando en desagradable de aceite con el pollo como ser vegetarianas fideos un aceite correoso frío slick que hizo que mi vómito amigo violentamente después de un par de bocados. El restaurante utiliza la excusa de que ya no podía comprar la misma marca de comida vegetariana pollo a su proveedor. Suficiente. Pero eso no cuenta para el hecho de que sus rollos primavera tailandeses y normal 6 hojas de verdura tomó rollo de cocina! ! ! Sólo para vaciar el aceite.

Can actually say that they have the best chef. Their food is incomparable in Portland Road. You'll get your food faster if you collect with a decent 10% discount as well. However they can be abrupt when they're busy, don't take it personally they just get a lot of orders. The delivery guys can't be faulted in my opinion.
