Happy Inn in Brighton and Hove

Extremely nice food with top quality ingredients. We would definitely recommend it to everyone who likes Chinese food. We have found that the House Special Fried Rice enough rice for 2 and it's topped with a variety of some of their other dishes.

My family and I have been loyal customers to this establishment for years through the changes of ownership etc.On this particular occasion we ordered salt and pepper squid ,lemon chicken and the usual chow menu and a prawn dish .The squid was obviously previously frozen and was covered in blue circle cement I mean batter of sorts and the chicken was so thin it looked like it was ready to have tobacco put into it and to be called a roll up ,the lemon sauce for the chicken didn't have a lemon flavour all in all a very poor excuse for a chinese meal .As this food goes it comes close to low budget supermarket efforts as trying to replicate Chinese food.
