The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Fancied a Chinese Takeaway so decided to order from Ho Ho. Delivery came relatively quickly. The Chicken Fried Rice and Special Fried Rice were both nice, though a little greasy. The Crispy Shredded Chili Beef was lovely, the Sweet & Sour Chicken balls were nice. Most of the prawn crackers were nice, but many were a little hard and undercooked. Unfortunately, there were some negatives... The Won Ton Soup (prawns and vegetables) didn't appear to contain any prawns, but tasted more like sausage meat. The Chicken Chow Mein was probably the worst one I've ever had. As soon as I opened the tub, you could smell burnt. Some of the noodles were black, you can see some in the photo. It was nice and dry, just as I like it, the taste was ok, but always a burnt flavour. The chicken in it tasted awful and chewy. Burnt noodles might be a common occurrence, looking at other reviews. I presumed they were having an off day, so gave them a chance. Should have listened. Overall, burnt noodles and poor chicken, I can't give it any more than 2/5⭐.

Food quality is always excellent. BBQ spare ribs and chicken curry with boiled rice is a dream! Sharing platter is also another favourite.

Another loyal customer of 15 year + and when I lived in Wales used to take alot of orders to take back after visiting family,now some of the family have moved,so now we order before we set off the day before and take their order over to Lancashire.

Excellent quality, fresh ingredients. Cannot complain. The takeaway restaurant is not a nightclub is it, so Atmosphere is not relevant.

I was the last order and had wonderful conversation while I waited for my food. The food was wonderful.

Food arrived piping hot and all tasted great especially the sweet and sour sauce

We have been going to Chung Lok for over 10 years, it's the only place we'll go for a Chinese. The food is delicious, portions are perfect and the service is friendly.

I have tried Chinese Takeaways from many places around the country and Sunrise is quite probably the best I have ever eaten. Consistently, all the dishes I have tried have been packed full of flavour and in generous portions. The Salt & Chilli Chips, Prawn Toast and Satay Chicken are particularly exceptional. I don't normally write reviews, but after trying 7-8 other Chinese takeaways in Carlisle before discovering Sunrise, it really is and remains, worth the drive to. If you haven't tried it... DO IT. Run. Dont walk. Thank me later.

Set menu A is a bargain. Food is always fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced. Family favorite. Always so friendly and kind.

Ordered at 19:21 told 50 mins called 20:27 delay wot driver called 20:42 on its way. Cold horrible order. Phoned for refund was offered an exchange of meal. Will not use again. Small business or not expect a half decent meal!!

Ordered a chicken satay no taste at all the same with the chicken curry they were so ware so watering n bland
