Only popped in for a quick visit with friends. The staff were friendly. They have a small beer garden at the rear. There is very limited parking outside, but it is almost impossible to get a space. They do food, but I would say it's more for drinking than eating.

Each time we have ordered from this restaurant the food has been really hot and nice, the duck rice with the sauce on is my favourite as it's beautiful, melts in the mouth and goes great with most things This is our go to chinese food place after changing from another which ended up being disgusting, Great food!

Ordered 2 sweetcorn soups, 1 spare ribs, 1 fried rice and chicken and mushroom. Total price 29.30. When we asked about the total price being a little high we was told to go elsewhere and had the phone slammed down. Will never get my business again after using this place at least once a fortnight for the last 3 years.

Absolutely terrible Ordereed £50+ worth of food. Was 45 mins late then had the cheek to ring and say that there was a road closed so had 2 choices ... Come and collect or order canceled (no re.fund) Had to battle through Uber eats to get my refund.... Disgrace of a food establishment

Please disregard my review from a while back. This place has a 1 star hygiene rating 🤢 I’ve worked in places with 5 star and they were bad enough, hate to think what these guys are up too. Ring harmanswater Chinese , even that’s only 4 star so still not the best in terms of hygiene but better than bloody 1 😂 what are they even doing to get 1!

Date 31/10/23. Time 18:21 The good news is the food arrived on time , the bad news was the food I ordered was cold and like chewing soggy cardboard! It’s states ‘Crispy’ ! The Chicken looked like it was cooked a week ago and then binged!! What a joke or should l say that was on me , for what I paid and received 😤…. They say once bitten twice shy , well I will definitely not be biting anything else from the ‘ Welcome Inn’ any time soon !! Or recommend it to any body … my advice is , iff your passing and even had a skin full , keep on walking & Save your cash. .! Product Name Quantity Price Total 6. Prawn Crackers 1 £2.50 £2.50 22a. Salt and Pepper Crispy Shredded Chicken 1 £6.50 £6.50 Sub-Total: £9.00 Home Delivery: £3.40 Total: £12.40

This was perhaps the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Granted we didn’t have the traditional Chinese menu, opting rather for the more westernised items. My wife started with salt and chilli wings which were basically just fried chicken wings. And seasoning that did come with it was scattered around the plate. I started with the West lake beef soup which was ok. For mains I chose the satay - the chicken was very rubbery and cheap tasting and the sauce was overly sweet. The accompanying fried rice was very sticky and heavy. My wife had the chicken curry which she said was nearly ok. As a result we ate virtually none of the main course. We asked for the bill and the waitress completely ignored the fact that there two virtually untouched portions of food on the table. She merely took my card and the bill was paid. This part of Glasgow has lots of Chinese/Malaysian/Korean eateries from street food to high end. Unfortunately this one does not rate at all. I so wish we had gone to the far far superior Dumpling Monkey across the road. Needless to say we will never be back.
