Fantastic spot - prawn crackers to rival anyone’s, good quality chicken etc

The delivery time was great however the food was vile and it was excluding the sauces all cold. I'm pretty certain the rice and prawn was improperly cooked.

Lovely food well priced and staff are lovely as well especially Susie

nearly a 2 hour wait with no answer from restaurant or any notice of delay.

Good food, an extensive menu with variety, great portions and the best prices. The best ribs I've had in Bangor! Chinese restaurants here usually are only cash, but in HKC they take card which is really convenient. And they're open till midnight and till 1 on Fridays and Saturdays so whenever I get nightly hunger pangs I'm there. The food and the service never disappoints!

Thai milk tea with bubbles is great, absolute Thai milk tea’s taste. Salt & chili prawns are little bit spicy and tasty. Yum Yum! Singapore-style chew mein has a rich curry, it’s very delicious!

I don’t usually do reviews or order takeout so it was a treat for me to do so really disappointed spend around 30£ on a Chinese waiter over an hour for it not to show rang the restaurant multiple times to be met with vote mail each time it’s shocking bc I was recommended and had high expectations extremely disappointed

Food was great. It arrived early by a very respectful and pleasant delivery driver.

Prices here are a bit high but it's the only place that can give me a nice duck a l'orange dish and that says a lot because it's my favourite. When I tried to order from other restaurants it was the worst taste and especially the texture. New China can give me both a nice sauce and the perfect balance of crispy but soft on the meat. Absolutely amazing.

For anyone wondering if the food has changed with the name change, it hasn't! Still exactly the same. I'm genuinely surprised at the bad reviews I've never had a bad dish from here and the ribs are the best in town, actually have meat on them!

Food arrived stone cold. Took more than 45 minutes since receiving notification that driver was on the way. Called and was told they send out multiple orders with the one driver.

This is my usual go to Chinese,always order the same thing…. But today the beef strips in black bean sauce was tough,chewy and was thrown out…never again total rubbish

Avoid. One of the worst Chinese meals I've ever had. We got takeaway here two nights ago and were really disappointed with our food. I asked for breast of chicken curry with fried rice and the chicken was horrible. It was slimey and gooey, it tasted like it was full of water and the curry sauce was very bland. The other meal was honey chilli chicken with chips and the chicken came doused in what can only be described as a sugary watery liquid, nothing like what we expected. Again the chicken was slimey, really poor quality and was very off-putting.... needless to say we didn't eat very much. Very disappointed considering it cost £21...wont be back

Inedible chicken curry, slimy chicken & as watery sauce

Most expensive delivery on bangor eats. So the food had better be outstanding ok after getting my delivery I have to wonder why it was cold it’s online 1.5 miles away. I finally found Salt &Chilli chicken that was tasty, tender yet cold. As for the noodles that had forced themselves into the shape of the plastic container & were not coming apart unless sliced. The extra gravy was pretty solid & way too sweet. Hi do you justify this, my delivery for one person was £21.50 Salt & chill £9.50 part eaten Noodles extra &2.00 not eaten Gravy £3.00 not used Prawn Crackers £2.00 all eaten Delivery £4.50 most expensive locally. Service charge £0.50 for what?? Needless to say out of the last 10 Chinese deliveries I’ve had from Bangor eats you rank no 7

I get a delivery at least 3 times a .month from here and usually delicious, tonight chicken balls burnt to a crisp cut into them literally uneatable, curry honestly dribble in bottom of Tub not enough to cover the meal.

First time ordering, really good value for money and the salt and chilli chips were some of the best I’ve tried. I will be ordering again

So disappointing. Food was terrible. Chicken fried rice was inedible and thrown straight in the bin. Couldnt taste any veg in the vegetable spring rolls (mostly pastry), and the beef satay was only just OK but tasted processed, very sweet, not fresh ingredients (as if it all came out of a packet or a tin).

Got the snack/mega box chicken was fresh and spicy I got a small and it was packed with great food will be eating here again and delivery was early 👍

Used to be my go to Chinese but ordered yesterday and the chicken in my chicken curry was slimey? So gross. Noodles were dry and salted chilli chicken was covered in soy sauce? Not how it usually is. Won’t be ordering again

Arrived more than half an hour earlier than expected. The bubble tea was lovely and the dinner was amazing. Still tasted so good cooking the leftovers the next day. Will definitely order again!

Paid 14 pound last week got satay chips and rice and got a free packet of prawn crackers this week paid 17 for the same thing without no crackers gutted!!

Asked for no onions in the curry and it arrived with onions in the curry.

Tried the new lychee bubble tea. I’ve heard about it and wanted to try it. Glad I get the sugar free one as sweet and refreshing. Will buy again. The banana fritters are a favourite and the special noodles were good.

the pork fell apart, the beef was perfect and the prawns were fresh and so tasty! I've never had ribs from a take away that just fell off the bone when picking them up!! I'm really impressed and will definitely be ordering from here more often! thank you

Usually enjoy food from here but arrived cold, 3 pound for tub of curry that was not worth the money at all! 30 pound order and not even a prawn cracker in sight. Finally 5.50 for a delivery is crazy!

I ordered Chinese pork with cashews. I got sliced pork in a very sweet sauce with nothing else and no cashews. Very disappointing

this is usually my favourite Chinese, well not tonight, chips were a handful in the tub and cold and looks like the scrap of chips, prawn crackers the same not a full one in the bag. a dribble of curry sauce if the chips had of been eatable there wasn't enough sauce to cover them was nearly 45 minutes late I had to ring once to chase it up, also note left on just eat to deliver to side door obviously didn't read it so driver went to wrong door. will be a very long time b4 I brave ordering again

It is all about the soup. I have a thing about Chinese restaurants with regards to hot and sour soup. If it is good the place is usually good and if not then not so great. If rarely lets me down. The first time I got soup here it was ok. The second time they couldn't even give me it as they did not have all the ingredients. That is not very good for a Chinese restaurant and for me kinda rules it out being honest. The rest of the food I got was........well ok. So soup wise and otherwise this place is - what can I say but ok. Nothing better nothing worse.

The noodles were very dry, the chicken curry had lots of chicken but some onions or so would have been nice , got half rice half chips but more chips and a handful of rice , and not that warm when it arrived

Didn't get my lovely salted chilie cube starter, which was disappointing. Think it was a chicken chunk version in batter, other than that it was lovely. Everyone makes mistakes, especially if its a busy Saturday night 🙂

Have ordered from New China often and has been great but tonight the meat was fatty and almost inedible. So disappointed!

The rice was not fresh 100 percent not eatable the chips and no taste at all will not order again and I would not recommend

You are a Chinese, I refuse to order until you put more than just curry and gravy sauces in the menu..... it isn't rocket science. Where is the satay?
