as always the food was great and delivery prompt.

food was lovely, couldn't fault it. only problem was the honey chilli chicken had completely leaked all over the other containers in the bag and driver hadn't noticed.

Delivery man was truly lovely, something spilled in my bag and he was so apologetic and said i could ring and get another sent if i wasn’t satisfied. Even rang about 10 minutes later to make sure i was okay with the spill.

I don't normally leave reviews but this was the first time ordering from here and it is was absolutely lovely. We ordered a set meal for 3 and added an extra portion of chips and noodles as there was 4 of us. Far too much food but great value! Thanks

Food is lush everything I've tried has been perfect which is hard to find when ordering Chinese. ribs were missing off last order but never have problems usually and it's my go to from now on!

The best takeaway satay sauce I’ve tasted, restaurant standard! The bbq honey coated ribs were full of meat and there were 10 in the box, unreal. The food seems much better quality from when I used to order months ago, keep it up hunz love u neva change FTM

Got the munchie box for over 20 quid, and I must say the flavor was nice but it was mostly just chips. Would say 80% of the box was chips so was abit disappointed but taste was nice enough.

Really lucky to have this place around the corner. Whenever I get food delivered it’s usually here really quick. And it’s always hot and amazing. I highly recommend the Honey Chilli chicken and also the salt and chili chips. Portions are always decent and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal from here.

Ordered from here a few times after our favourite takeaway closed and was always happy. Tonight was shocking … after ordering it took nearly 2 hours to arrive. I rang after an hour as the tracking service said 45 mins but the timer was showing no countdown. The person who answered the phone tried so hard to help but the woman screeching in the background didn’t think the customers needed any explanation. “She was busy! Everyone was waiting. “ When the food came it wasn’t hot and it wasn’t the same standard we had had before. If you get too busy stop taking more orders.

Ordered a munch box from here and it was delivered 20 minutes late, there was way to much salt on everything, it was soggy I would definitely not recommend this, it was overpriced, by far the worst Chinese I have ever had if I could give 0 stars I would

First time ordered from here and will never order from here again , ordered a share box , for a change and I was devastated, the chicken was in older batter than me grandad just unfrozen and re heated and manky , the ribs , WOW, absolutely disgusting., sorry but stick to what you no as I will never order from here again , , the chips were nice , at least they were freshly cooked .

Disgusting we ordered a box omg it was that salty we could not eat it we both drank a full pint of water each just off eating a chicken ball even me dogs turned there noses up and they are greedy buggers it arrived late and to make it worse it must of sweatened in the box so chips were wet vile vile vile and the prawn toast was chicken how I don't no its beyond me please stop away

Just had chicken curry, fried rice and chips. It was that good after a couple of mouth full's it all ended up in the bin! Wast of £9.90. Won't be going back.

The last two orders have disappointed. 1. Munchie box. Delivered over 1 hour late and it was missing prawn toast. 2. 1/4 duck, Wan Tons and chicken in peking sauce. 1/4 duck was more like 1/8 duck as half of the contents of the box was fat! Wan Tons were placed into a container with the plastic tub of sweet and sour sauce. The plastic tub had melted making the food inedible.

Delivery was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and the portions are massive... It was a nice surprise for us.

This used to be a great Chinese take away, closest to where we live in Teal Farm. I ordered Chow Mein on Thursday dinner time. It came quite quickly and was fairly tasty. Then a few hours later in the middle of the night I started going to the toilet to empty my bowels. Every few hours later and even a few days on things haven’t returned back to normal. I didn’t eat anything else that could have caused it so I can only presume food poisoning or bad hygiene from Yummy. Sorry but never again!

Be careful... This place doubles up as Mama's Rice on deliveroo and justeat. They let you place an order on a Wednesday when they are closed and never show up! Tried calling the number they provide on these apps and it connects me to somewhere down south! If I knew it was Yummy in disguise I would never have ordered. I've been here before and the food is revolting.

Took over 1 and half hours to be delivered order was missing the sauce which then took another 45 mins to be delivered at this point the food was cold......very poor service and will not be returning.

February 2022: cheap, picked up, two chow means- chicken and special. No sauce, just greasy. Never, ever had so little meat in a chow mein. Spring rolls all pastry, no discernable filling. Worst value possible. Never again. 👎

Awful food, I ordered chicken curry, chicken tough and sauce was too sweet, sadly food went into the bin .. will never order food from here again.

After ordering I saw a lot of poor reviews so was worried about what I might receive, but I needn't have been concerned! I ordered bean curd in black bean sauce, rice and salt and pepper chips. It was all absolutely delicious. The bean curd in black bean sauce was flavoursome and the sauce of good consistency ( some reviews complained of thin sauces). The chips were very flavoured, more than a lot of places, and they were a little bit spicy which was nice! The person on the phone was very helpful and they changed their menu to suit my needs (preparing back bean sauce instead of schezuan). I'd definitely go back and hope the reviews will reflect the place better than some of the one star ones!

Ordered beef in curry sauce got beef in yellow watery liquid this meal was not up to standard must try harder

Went for East Asian (Chinese,) should have gone for Sub Continent (Indian.) A couple of pieces of meat were chewy, to the point of being inedible. Not one of Yummy's best efforts. It is a shame really, because sometimes they are good and others not so much. We were undecided what to have and it was one of those occasions, that we made the wrong choice.

Bought vegetable chow main forgot to put bee sprouts in I thought the price was a bit expensive

We order takeaway food for the family from Yummy a lot and no matter whether it is a weekday or a busy weekend/ Bank Holiday the food is always lovely and always arrives at the expected time.

Have been ordering for a while and have no complaints food is always warm and nice have had no issues with the chips like many other places always fresh the delivery time on the app is always over estimated as it has never been late and mostly comes early Today there was a mistake for the first time they forgot the bottle of coke I had ordered they were very apologetic and they dropped that of within 10 minutes I recommend this place without a doubt

I will never use them again they advertise 15 per cent off on a menu I got two weeks ago. When you I went on their website it showed 10 per cent and when you ordered it was 5 percent then there was a service charge. Delivery was also overcharged at £2 over 2 miles I live less than a mile away. All this when other takeaways and restaurants are trying to help the community. Out of pure principal I will never use them again and by the way check their food hygiene rating. 1 is never good.

Well the food was lovely when I eventually received it unfortunately I won’t be using again as 3 hours for delivery is an absolute disgrace!!!!!! Not even any complimentary food offered either after being on the phone 4 times asking where the food was!!!!!!!! Ridiculous to be honest!!! 😡😡😡

Very poor . It was the best Chinese in Washington but it has changed a lot. Sweet and sour sauce like water same as the curry sauce. Sorry will not be ordering again.

We had a delivery from here last night . The speed of the order was good .The chicken and sweetcorn was a bit lacking in chicken flavour just a thick watery broth. The satay was not too bad a bit on the plain side. Then there was the chinese curry which was disgusting they seem to be using precooked frozen sliced chicken Other sauces were thin and tasteless and over use of sugar. I would only recommend this to a total food philistine.

We had special Hong Kong style Chow Meins. There is a choice of four sauces to accompany these. I chose garlic and chilli whilst my wife chose satay. The food was very tasty and the portion sizes are still good. Service was good and the delivery time was reasonable for Christmas Eve.

A couple of years ago Yummy was arguably the best Chinese takeaway in Washington. However more recently the food is not anywhere close to the levels it once was. Disappointing.

Extremely poor customer service! Failed to tell me that my order had gone through on just eat and very blunt telling me to order again online. After going elsewhere they delivered my order now I have two takeaway meals. Will not be coming back again

We used Yummy's a few times in 2017 but quality dropped around May time so we gave it a miss. Tried it a few days ago as our local takeaway is closed on Mondays. NEVER AGAIN! Ordered 2 meals. The prawns with spring onion was passable but sloppy, The crispy chili prawns was stocking! They'd rammed the prawns into the small size container they use for rice and forced the chili down on top. Result was a " prawn sandcastle ". I did ask the ignorant guy who served it why they'd done this... Suddenly he couldn't understand me but made it clear not to bother coming back. Fine by me! Rice was ok.chips were bland and soggy. Waste of £15.30. Avoid, anywhere that fits a meal into a small container meant for rice is NOT good value. Far better options nearby offering GOOD food at fair prices.

Bought from this take away for a few years now, food is lovely, my sisters recommended it to me as a treat.

Rang and asked for vegan version of the £14 munchie box. Was asked about a curry we may like - suggested tofu teriyaki. Ended up being charged £15 for onion rings, spring rolls and chips with a tub of curry (no where near £15 had we ordered these separately). Won’t be returning. Been absolutely had!

Food was good, not as good as I'd hoped.

Have used this takeaway for a very long time, never go anywhere else but don't no what's happened. Ordered tonight, seemed to be different staff and possibly a different chef as food wasn't normal standard. Very bland, just no flavour at all in anything. Very disappointed. Not sure if I'll risk going here again. Maybe I'll check first if they do have different chef.

Had some great food well priced will defo visit again , front of house staff are chatty and helpfull too
