The chow mein was a huge disappointment, tasted burnt and noodles were overcooked. Only ate the spring rolls and they were mid quality. Unfortunately will not be returning.

First time having Chinese from Old Town and WOW. Best Chinese, Great portions, cooked to perfection. Fast delivery and very friendly. Highly Recommend. Will be ordering from here more often.

Food is always lovely. The food is always hot and tasty. Weekday delivery is quick, sometimes on a weekend you may have to wait a little bit, but only because it's always so busy. But it's well worth the wait. Would highly recommend xx

These guys are always amazing. I don't think they've ever got anything wrong. The delivery man is very friendly and respectful- I never feel uncomfortable answering the door in all sorts of horrific states. Best Chinese in the area for sure.

A lot of money to pay for 2 spring rolls that were the only thing I could eat the rest went in the bin beef tuff and way too spicy to eat I know it’s a spicy dish but I couldn’t eat it without coughing the spices were way too overpowering and prawns and rice tasteless sorry about the poor review but I like to be honest

Disgusting food. Cold, tasteless, and am sure the special curry had been frozen in the tub and heated up! Some bits hot and some really cold! Prawns looked raw and if it was chicken it must have been in a sink of dirty water for a month before frozen in the container! Strange really as last time I came here it was half decent… never again.

Had a meal tonight special curry been going here for years it’s gone up about £2+ they mist a main ingredient prawns not very happy.

Ordered duck rolls with plum sauce and 2 Thai green curries at 7:15 at night with an advised 45 minute wait for delivery. After an hour waiting I called again to be told it would be another 15 minutes, 45 minutes later it arrived and I wish it hadn't. The duck rolls were dried out and no plum sauce arrived with them so they went in the bin and the Thai green curry tasted nothing like a Thai green curry, we managed to eat about half of it then that went in the bin too. Worst takeaway and longest wait I have had to endure and certainly will never be using again.

Worst Thai green curry I have ever had, and duck rolls came without plum sauce all delivered 1 hour late so from order I waited 1 HR 45 minutes to have the worst meal I have ever had delivered and this was after calling them twice to see where my order was. Not good in any way.

We have just ordered a meal from here which turned up 20 mins earlier than it should have, it’s turned up freezing cold, which I wouldn’t have expected with it been 20 mins early, I rang and complained to which they were discussing my complaint in there in there own language and at times was more heated than my food!!!! To then be asked “what do u want us to about it” What a disgrace off a Chinese I certainly won’t be using them again and I’ll be making sure no one I know about sea this dreadful unprofessional business! Shame on u 🤬🤬🤬

I had the special in hot and spicy sauce. The food was piping hot, the meat tender, the prawns succulent and the sauce had a nice piquancy to it. I had it with a portion of egg fried rice, which was an extra 50p. My wife had chicken and prawn chow mein, which was equally tasty. Our additional sweet and sour chicken balls and salt and chilli pepper chips were delightful. The food arrived bang on time but the 65 minute wait quoted, was a little on the long side and the usual £3.50 delivery charge, was slightly on the high side, for the distance travelled but as far as the food goes, there can be no complaints.

Just under £40 for two Cantonese dishes and three starters. The ribs ordered were scraggy ends with next to no meat on them. Rolls swimming in fat. Salt'n'pepper king prawns just about acceptable, not great. Main meals more than 60% onion and the sauce so thin it added nothing but mess; the meat was a few bits of poor chicken (badly cooked), one piece each of pork and beef (very small) and three prawns - and they call this a 'special!! Was late arriving (could excuse if hot, but cold when it landed). Never again from here, absolutely shocking food.

1 star is to good for these. Ordered online for 7.25 but received no confirmation.We rang at 5.45 to check they had our order to be told it was out with the driver.We said our order was for 7.25 and was assured they would contact the driver and send a FRESH meal out for our desired time. It arrived and was disgusting i even had to have my husband identified the pork as ive seen nothing like it.They didnt put my lrg curry sauce in so when i rang to ask them they kindly told me i would get it free the next time...Free ive already paid for it!!!

Ordered in shop and food was ready in 10 mins. staff were friendly while taking all social distancing precautions. The meal itself was very tasty and I would recommend to everyone.

After i ordered online and received the wrong food. I rang up and they basically told me i was lying. Absolute joke. No respect for customers.

Food absolutely fine but they have not got enough staff to handle high demand of lock down delivery. Do not order if you are hungry. Over 2 1/2hrs to deliver yet 1 1/4 delivery estimate. Put the phone down on us complaining. My kids were so hungry they ended up eating something at home. Disappointing. The 4 free fortune crackers weren’t exactly a fair compromise.

Very disappointing.....took 1hr and 47 minutes after being told it would only take 1hr. It came dtine cold, fried rice didn't taste right at all.

We have supported this businesses for years. Tonight our order arrived and No king prawns in my curry. We have paid £17 for a chicken curry and what I ordered came with no king prawns and then when I ring am told I am a liar as the chef says there is king prawns in the dish. I am not stupid I can see what is in there. I have asked them to pick up the dish but they are too busy and basically I am a liar. After saying thatiamputting on Facebook then they sayi can have a free meal. Excuse me Ihave already paid fora meal I have not received. We have supported this business for years. Tonight that is the end I would rather give ,y custom to someone who deserves it

First time of ordering from old town chinese ..compliments to the chef it was absolutely beautiful full of flavour .quantity and quality not to be argued with will deffo recommend you and will be using all the time as from now on thank you all

I don't normally write reviews but tonight's order warranted one the most delicious flavoursome Chinese I've had in a long time arrived within 20 mins of ordering on a Saturday aswell piping hot worth every penny will be ordering again

We decided to try a takeaway from here while stopping over in the local area, so pleased that we did! Although having a bit of a wait for the food to be made we did not mind as we knew it was freshly being made. All the dishes ordered were delicious and extremely good sized portions given. The staff were friendly and jolly and we can highly recommend a takeaway from here.

First time ive ordered from here and I would say never again , took 1 hrs 40 mins to come , I got no apology, and my food was stone cold, worse I've had had from any take away , waste of money , gone straight in the bin as I dont like 2 re heat take ways

Food is really good but 2nd time in no time the order is incorrect. It isn’t cheap but even though the order is repeated it still gets delivered wrong. It appears the problem is between who takes the order and the kitchen staff

Instead of trying to get you off the phone why don’t they listen to your order. Last 2 orders have been incorrect. So intent to get you off the phone she just doesn’t listen !!! Food arrived late was ok but not what I ordered. Not cheap but food is usually good

I and my family have used old town for a couple of years now, however, tonight we placed our usual order and were very disappointed, my prawns with green peppers in black bean sauce with noodles were actually salty noodles, a few sliced onions and 8 prawns. My sister in law's chicken and prawns in peking sauce arriv d with battered prawns. Needless to say not a lot was eaten and we will now be looking for a new Chinese takeaway.

Ordered from here a number of times now and had different meals each time. Food is fantastic service is good. Won't order from anywhere else now.

Ordered1 week was nice do orderedfor the family hate to write it but chop suey was very watery. Chips were dry only part we enjoyed was prawn crackers.

Ordered a meal from here a few weeks ago, and now I'm hooked. For me this is the BEST Chinese in washington for a few reasons. It's under new management and so there's a sense of heightened standards, also it's very unanglicised, in that, it's the only place around here that I've come across that offers a range of dim sum, something that's usually reserved for restaurants and the variety of cooking styles, from Hong Kong style and Singapore is great. The food has always been sensational and the choice is super, the only thing that could improve its already high standards would be if they presented the food in a slightly protected way maybe using oyster pails Easily 5 Stars.

Fast reliable service. Food was delicious and piping hot. Ordered a good variation to entertain friends. Came with a very large complementary bag of prawn crackers. The delivery driver was very cheerful. Have recommended to friends.
