The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Food temperature was cold, 2 dishes were not as ordered, the roast duck spring rolls were soggy and had a horrendous smell when cut open.. as a result of the meal 2 of my family members plus myself are now very unwell

Although the place is in a quite posh area the food was just about average. This is of course not their fault but that has to be mentioned that the restaurant is incredibly noisy, we almost needed to shout to hear each other.

I visited because I wanted to eat Jajangmyeon. I ordered Jajangmyeon, sweet and sour pork, and fried dumplings, and at £33, I think it's good value considering the cost of eating out in London! And the taste was as good as most Chinese restaurants in my neighborhood. I enjoyed the meal, but I was dissatisfied with the service. On the evening we visited, there were only two customers at the table, me and my friend, but they didn't treat us very kindly. I know they close at 9, but around 8:40 they hand me the bill and say it will close soon. At all times, including when taking orders, he speaks with a blank expression and an unfriendly tone.

Horrible food I’d rather eat dog food. The food was so dry and flavourless. I got food poising, the plates and bowls were visibly dirty and I wouldn’t feed this food to my greatest enemy.

Lovely staff and tasty food. A very enjoyable evening out. We will be back next time we visit Newark. Thank you New King Wah restaurant.

Used to be a firm favourite of mine, went there last night and was shocked by the price and over all quality of the food. The chicken/noodle soup - sliced chicken roll of some sort, possibly tinned! I won't go on about the rest, that say's it all to me, standards well below what used to be a great place to eat.

Really upset with the service. Soon as we finished our food. Was non stop over with the card machine. Made to feel very unwelcome on our first visit since moving to Sevenoaks

Was unsure about booking this restaurant as read some reviews that was not very positive. So glad I went with my intuition!! Booked a table for 8 of us every starter and main course was delicious and hot Also hot plates served for each course. Stafff are very friendly and attentive. One of our party is gluten free which was not a problem delicious monkfish dish. Will definitely return when we are back in the area 10/10
