Wok Wok in Aberdeen City

Usually the food is pretty good from here but tonight was a huge let down. The soup was good, however the quarter duck arrived as a leg rather than shredded like every other Chinese would do, was tasteless and overcooked. Not the cheapest and e nded up putting it in the bin. Put me off ordering again!

Had our first meal from there tonight and it was amazing. Huge helpings and full of flavour. Fully recommend. Will be back for more before we go back home.

Ate here 3 times in our visit it is that good!! I loved the black noodle dish 😍 We also liked everything else as well a taste explosion!! Service great too!

Normally I would say food is great but my last order was disappointing to say the least. The beef curry saw burnt and the chicken chow main was tastless .so not the normal.

Used Wok Wok for years but after what must be 6 months of cash only as 'Card Machine Not working' or put it another way a Tax man evasion scheme, it is a shame we must go elsewhere....many don't carry cash these days and depend on Card but Wok Wok instant on Cash, if you got cash use them as they are the Best n Aberdeen but worst for insisting on CASH ONLY....Shame

Having always been happy with wok wok my most recent order was very disappointing indeed! Near stone cold chicken chow mein and chips were soggy and not at all warm enough.

Part of order missing, wok wok couldn't refund directed me to online payment company. Called them and they hung up on me twice. Really unhelpful attitude from shop.

The service is always very good and friendly, the food is always very well prepared and flavoursome. The open kitchen is great as you can watch your meal being cooked!

Bbq spare ribs were so dry and overdone, maybe cooked earlier and redone. Salt and pepper chicken had no taste again looked like over cooked. Really disappointed waste of money😞

One of the best Chinese takeaways in Aberdeen. Food is cooked fresh and is always delicious! Can get very busy at times so I would advise to order in plenty of time.

Hit or a miss. Have had some delicious food here. But last delivery was awful. Look warm to say the least and the quality was the worst. I’ve had quite a few takeaways from here but think they need to buck up their ideas or they will be losing lots of customers. Will give it one more try then I’m done.

Nice food but crinkydink service. The man with the back to front baseball cap could do with some lessons in customer service - it’s not a good idea to chat to customers about nothing in particular when you have other customers waiting to be served... you might find they go elsewhere! The food is passable. A good tip is to make sure they give what you’ve paid for as they have a habit of forgetting to give you all items....

I have been using Wok Wok for years and can never fault the food! Always comes piping hot & chicken taste super fresh! Never use any other Chinese 100% recommend!

I have been going to Wok Wok for years and today has made me realise I need to find a new Chinese takeout. I phoned to ask for my food and when it arrived they forgot one of the orders. So I phoned back to ask for it. The gentleman on the other side of the phone tried to pass the blame on to me and proceeded to laugh at me when I said I said I wasn’t happy about his attitude. And said I needed to pay for it even though HE misheard. Wok Wok, get better staff!!

Hands down the best Chinese you could ever order from. Expensive but worth it. I recommend the roast pork chow mein dry, salt and pepper crispy chicken strips, crispy shredded beef with chilli, egg fried rice, chips, incase anyone is struggling to choose. This will not disappoint.

It was really good in the past but seems to have slipped slightly in recent months with the food lacking a bit of flavour. It is busy on a Saturday so best to order ahead as you can wait a good time if you don't. The food is fresh as you would expect with it being busy. The chicken satay skewers are particularly good

I had a takeaway from here. I had the chilli beef which was fine. It was a fairly generous portion though there was nothing special about the meal and at the same time nothing bad. I also had some prawn crackers, also fine though perhaps a slightly smaller portion than you might get from another Chinese takeaway

We had a take away from here last night. It all ended up in the bin. Pancake rolls were mostly uncooked pastry. The quarter aromatic duck was a leg, which only tasted of grease and no aromatic taste. Main course of beef chow mein, was a portion of the noodles and beansprouts with a few bits of beef added, no veg or sauce. The side portion of noodles and beansprouts were burnt. The chips looked and tasted like they were a week old.

Makaron jajeczny który zamówiłam był dobrej jakości ale wyczuć się dało w nim smak i zapach czegoś spalonego, osobno domówiłam mix warzyw w którym była mocno spieczona pierś z kaczki, młoda kukurydza , liść kapusty , cebula, jeden zielony groszek i jakieś chrupiące warzywo którego nie umiem określić, może to bambus. smaczne ale kiełki zawarte w jedzeniu miały długie korzonki, nitkowate które stanęły mi w gardle z ziemistym posmakiem. Obsługa bardzo miła. jakość produktów mogłaby być lepsza, menu dużo mniej skomplikowane i sprzęt na którym pracują kucharze mógłby być lepszy- nie przypalony ponieważ spalenizna wchodzi do każdego dania.

Felt like a takeaway on Friday and ordered from our usual place (Wok Wok - Aberdeen). Love the food, always turns up piping hot and delicious! We generally order a little extra, so I can have it for lunch at work during the week.

Wok Wok has been my go-to Chinese carry out for years, but in recent times its been a hit or a miss when it comes to delivery time and freshness of its food - we had a meal last week and to say it wasn't its normal standard was an understatement, late delivery, food not as fresh as normal and not what I expect - this will allow me to test and try other options, I hope things change and Wok Wok gets back to what is been good at for years.

Pancakes for duck cold, stuck together and too few. Tiny portion of plum sauce inadequate. King prawns encased in massive batter balls, grey on inside. Didn't eat.

Had the new munchie box last night at wok wok. Tried manny munchie boxes but this one is the best by far!

I've always been a fan of wok wok and after a small "glitch" in the meal we ordered a few months back, wok wok was back to its well deserved place at the top of my no1 chinese carry-out option in Aberdeen, fresh, hot, spicy, lovlely food....

For starter the hot and spicy dry ribs were battered with absolutely zero meat on them...awful. For main the chicken curry which was bland and tasteless. The chips were cold and dry almost like they had been recooked. My star was for the fact that...

Tanto las costillas y pollo eran demasiado demasiado hecha. Había muy poco si cualquier carne en las costillas, sólo un montón de muy crujiente, pasta muy seca. En una nota positiva, no como la carne y los huevos fritos de arroz chili. Sin embargo, por £22 realmente no vale la pena. Nuestra búsqueda continua……

Been using WokWok for about five years since being recommended by a colleague. Unlike many takeaways WokWok is consistently up there. We are creatures of habit and that habit is rewarded.Good quality food that's as tweakable as you like. Always happy to add or remove ingredients and spices as required.All Good!

I ordered a take away at the weekend. I phoned up for delivery. Within half an hour my food was delivered. Decent size portions and very tasty food

I went to wok wok with my son, I had he chicken curry and my son the crispy duck, we actually waited while it was cooked, but for some reason it didn't taste as fresh and as good as normal, maybe just a blip? Not sure! We may need to try somewhere else?

Food was cold, never got our sweet and sour sauce and not the first time this has happened. So disappointed as they used to be really good

A taste of sheer delight in a takeaway and such amazing value for money... The Wok Wok was recommended to me by the receptionist at my second recent stay to the Miacasa apartments Wow. I had a total delight having all my favourite meals delivered. The food was hot and lots of it and all at a great price for what I ordered. The egg fried rice was a golden delight, the lemon chicken in sweet & Sour sauce was just perfect and what I asked for the deep fried shredded beef was out of this world. Thank you to the Wok Wok team for a amazing fast and speedy service with a delightful bag of tasty treats being delivered within 35min from ordering. Amazing I will be calling again thank you all at team Wok Wok.... X

Our group ordered quite a large takeaway from here. Given 40 minutes until it would be delivered and it arrived around the 30minute mark! Excellent service. The meals themselves were well cooked and each person was happy with what they had ordered. I personally had the chicken curry and fried rice. Curry seemed cooked fresh and had decent quality chicken as opposed to the watery looking chicken you often get from a chinese. Also being quite greedy I finished off a friends honey chilli chicken as well and it too didn't disappoint.

We often use this takeaway and as always the standard was high and good quality food.The service is very good and when they say the time to collect they are always spot on!

Just had a Chinese takeaway from here, edible but have had much better elsewhere. Quarter duck comes whole rather than shredded, I don't eat it but I am told shredded is always better! King prawn chow mein - prawns weren't that great, chips were awful & the prawn crackers were really thin & strange tasting! Maybe just an off day from the Chinese as heard it was good but don't think we'll rush back.

Sorry to have to write this. We had a large carry out for my birthday party. When ordered, we were told it would be delivered within the hour. Three phone calls where the person on the phone was disinterested, and kept saying our food was on its way. Finally arrived 2hrs and 10 mins after we ordered.This food would have been ok, had it not been all but stone cold.Dreadful service, appalling when we asked for progress. We were offered a £15 discount, but by that time we were at the end of our tether.This place should be accountable and obviously live on a past reputation.For a carry out in Aberdeen, go elsewhere. Sorry.

Just had a meal for my wife and I and I can't believe how the guys keep the standard and speed of service do high!Every meal is cooked and served to the Highest standard, we have never had meal that was ok they are always amazing and full of meat and good size portions,Well done and keep up the good work guys!

Just had my first and last take away from here never in my life have had such a shocking meal disgusting is the only thing I can say £17.00 later wish I had egg and chips it's the worst take away I have ever had the disadvantage to have stay away if you know what's good for your digestion

This used to be consistently good however recently it's been a bit hit and miss. The food is always of high quality but the flavour is sometimes lacking. Reasonably price and I advise booking online or phoning in as it can take a while to get served as a walk in customer. The wanton soup is great.

Used to live close by and this was my regular. Used to never get a bad Chinese.Got a delivery yesterday and I was very disappointed. Chicken curry, honey chilli chicken, chips and rice. All were cold. Chicken and peppers in the curry were burnt and tasted awful. Chips were cold and shrivelled. Rice was cold and clumpy. Honey chilli chicken was the only dish passable. £19.80 delivered. It definitely wasn't worth it. Took over an hour to get delivered.Overall I was very disappointed and won't be going back.

Waited over 45 minutes for a simple 2 people order. No apology. Nothing. Phone orders were moving out all the time. Been coming here for 6 years about twice a month. Service used to be good. Now it less than poor. Looking for another outlet now.

Good Chinese, best in the Aberdeen area. Honey chilli chicken with extra sauce is to die for. Chicken curry not far behind. A little on the expensive side is the only negative. Open kitchen always looks well staffed and clean. Generally the staff behind the counter are friendly. As a regular of 10 years I would recommend.

I used to love Wok Wok and was a regular customer, however, the new front of house guy is utterly rude and incompetent. The "no MSG" and other plus points have been removed from the window and the quality of the food is wholly disappointing. Maybe it has changed hands I'm not sure but I refuse to eat here now - the food at the Golden Crown is definitely worth a try.

Wok wok seems to have the freshest food and best food I have came across. What makes wok wok unique is it has an open plan kitchen where you can watch your food being cooked. Would recommend this Chinese to anyone!! Number 33 on the menu is the best.

Having eaten from most of Aberdeen's chinese takeaways wok wok is far the superior. I have been a regular customer for ten years they have never let me down, slightly more expensive than others the quality of the food more than makes up for the price. Best noodles in town just can't get enough.

Im from Aberdeen but no longer live there. I like to think I have an educated Asian pallet, having travelled and lived in the east. I have to admit they are not the cheapest; however i think you pay what you get for, far superior quality than others i have ordered from... it seems like the produce is of good quality. Which is why when I'm back in the city i do order from them on a regular basis.

I've been to Wok Wok several times and never been let down. It is definitely the best Chinese takeaway I've had in Aberdeen and probably the best I've had in the UK. Yes, you can get better Chinese food in a proper sit-down restaurant but this is about as good as you can expect from a takeaway. Fast service and reasonable prices as well. I would highly recommend Wok Wok and the crispy shredded beef in chilli sauce in particular.

Without a doubt this is the best Chinese take away in Aberdeen. Chilli squid is my favourite starter and the Malaysian style chicken chow mein.

I have eaten from here on a number of occasions and now that I live near by I feel it may be one of my go-to take always when I do not have the desire to cook. The service is fast, the menu is complete with modern classics as well as traditional Chinese options.Everything I have ever had from here has tasted fresh and not like it has been sat boiling into a rubber ball for days like I have experienced from other near by restaurants. The price is also on point.

I'd recommend Wok Wok for Chinese takeaway before anywhere else in Aberdeen. The Crispy Shredded Chicken with Chilli is great, and never fails to satisfy!

I've taken many time their takeaway food and so far the quality was really good compared to 2-3 other Chinese restourants in the neighborhood They offer a super long menu which I guess you need to be Chinese to use the best of it Food is quickCleanWith nice staffFair price as well (they have increased their prices this year by almost 20% which is a shame.Other than that, rest are good

Clearly on their menu it states chicken chow mein and the refused to take the order then we asked for chicken and sweet corn again it's on their menu again refused to take the order needless to say we took out business elsewhere what a joke first time trying them and won't be back extremely poor service

Probably the best chinese food I've had in Aberdeen since moving here 2 years ago. Only downfall is the wait but to be honest, I expected that as it was a busy place but the staff looked to handle things well. Will definitely be back but will order prior to collecting next time.

The best chinese takeaway in aberdeen. If we ever order, we always go here. Ok it's only a 5 minute drive for us, but we've been lots of places, and this one always tops it. It's reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and the food is very goodl

Went here with friends purely because it was open at lunchtime and we all fancied a Chinese takeaway. All the food tasted much the same with no particular effort put into quality or flavour. Portion sizes on the small side considering the prices. Special fried rice very disappointing as was the curry sauce. It all just tasted bland and cheaply made. You won't eat from here and think it's terrible, the foods simply just ok but nothing that would make you rush back.

Wok wok is the best Chinese takeaway in Aberdeen! I always go for their won ton soup, the won ton in the soup is fabulous! My frd always go for their quarter duck, which smells sooooooo nice!! My colleagues always order Wok wok during the lunch break together, what a pity they don't do delivery during the lunch time! Highly recommend Wok wok for Chinese food lovers~!

We have eaten from here twice. The food is ok but the attention to detail and the service is appalling. The first time we ordered a set menu and we were short changed one of the mains. The second time we ordered a beef dish, amongst other dishes for take away, but the dish came as chicken. We didn't notice until the delivery woman had disappeared. She was also incredibly rude and didn't even say thank you or acknowledge her tip. We won't be going back

My usual Friday night treat from here. Best chicken satay and also best shredded chilli chicken I've had. Prices are standard for the city. Collect though as delivery is a bit slow.

Absolutely my favorite Chinese food! I really like the chicken chow mien and the dish with sea spicy source! It is so nice! I think that is the best in Aberdeen! And the staff in wokwok is amazing and helpful!

This used to be our very favourite Chinese Takeaway in Aberdeen.Something has changed, the food was bland. The crispy duck was greasy and soggy, the battered chicken was also greasy and soggy.Rubbery squid.Need to start looking again!

It used to be a very tasty takeaway, I normally order the sweet and sour chicken, but I received a delivery this evening and it was absolutely vile. Have been feeling sick all evening and I will certainly never order from here again. Soggy chips, withered chicken balls and disgusting rice. And they couldn't find my address and didn't bother ringing me, the extra 15 minutes in the car certainly didn't add any flavour, well, I hope.
