Oodles - Aberdeen in Aberdeen City

Unlike other places, the meat and vegetables are cooked to order so that they are served hot and fresh. It is like having a 2 dish takeaway for the price of one. With three different sizes to choose from starting from under £7, you get 2 base including rice, noodles, udon and chips, 1 wet and 1 dry main. The staff were smiley and polite, environment was tidy and clean. However, on my second visit, the complaint I had was the female staff. I asked for hot water for my bottle and she said they do not have hot water. How ridiculous!

It should not take 20 minutes to prepare a noodle dish when their competitors can do it in a fraction of the time. Food OK but nowhere near a reasonable portion size. Speakers blaring music at full volume did not help when the server called out my order number, I had to look at the screen to find out it was time to get my meal from them, also no apologies whatsoever about the time it took.

Nothing wrong with the food, but I don't understand how a simple meal takes almost TWENTY MINUTES to be prepared when the restaurant is half full and there's only three orders on the screen. Atrocious service, zero apologies for the wait either, now I know why this place is never busy on a Saturday lunchtime

I must regret to say that my wife and I were treated badly this evening. We placed an order around 10:15 p.m. and the waiter asked us whether to eat in or take away. My wife and I wanted to eat there and then we sat down at the table. At 10:25 p.m. the gentleman called the number. 39 ready for takeaway. I told the gentleman that it was a mistake, that the order was on site, then I heard that they close at 11 p.m. and that it was for takeaway. No apologies, especially since earlier another gentleman asked if it was on site. Additionally, the number of ingredients was one portion less of fries in the order where I ordered a double, just like my wife. They only lost regular customers where we ate there many times. Never again, no respect for the customer. I only give 1 out of 5 stars because I can't do it any less, I would give it a minute and thank you this gentleman for his work.

We visited on the 7th of March. The late shift staff were very kind to give us a new box since the chicken my daughter ordered was spicy. Very impressed with their service. Thank you

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oodles Restaurant, and the experience left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped through the door, the inviting ambiance set the stage for a delightful evening.

Too much crammed into the box that it became mush by the time I got home. Spicy chips were super soggy. Overcharged for the 2 big spring rolls too as they put through 2 singles and not the double offer. Also woke up 7 hours later with a dodgy stomach. Hard pass for a re-visit.

Decided to try this new noodle bar out this month at lunch time. The place inside is well decorated and feels very welcoming. Once in, I placed my order on the self serve machine and sat down. Several minutes passed in the quiet restaurant and still no sign of my order. It was about 20 mins before I was able to tuck into my food which wasn't ideal as I had to be back within the hour. It meant I had to eat extremely quickly to ensure I could get back to work on time. Overall, the portion sizes were extremely small for what you pay for. I went for a medium box which is extremely overpriced. Although the food was alright, it wasn't as good as I was expecting or hoped for the cost. I still walked away hungry and went next door to the Co-op in the hunt for more food before rushing back to work.

Quite amazing. Food is delicious and the staff is courteous. For all the desi’s out there this is the closest you’ll get to Indo-Chinese in Aberdeen.

Im a deliveroo driver , and was asking if i can use the toilet for a moment the guys say no . Just if ill order food from them , i can use the toilet , like Deliveroo driver we take a lot off orders from them , but after this , not more . Absolutely disgracefull.

The food portions for the price is good value, we were sitting in and the place was really tidy. The staff went above and beyond as well, I have allergies so I got help with that, in addition everyone was super polite and welcoming. Our order got delayed slightly because of an error but that was corrected and we got offered complimentary add ons for our inconvience, great customer service!

Beyond terrible. No flavour and a total rip off - I had a Dr Noodles that gave me 3 days worth of food poisoning before, I was hoping my faith was going to be restored! However I’d rather get poisoned again.

I went for a spicy option and this food place guarantees. I went for the Malaysian chicken with Kung Po Chicken definitely would recommend it for people who like spicy food

Hi, this takeaway is very excellent because i eat delicious food on every weekend. So, in the weekends i enjoy alot and feel Happy.

Well, the opening was fantastic, had 2 or 3 visit with family and friends then today I had the worst food experience and was tempted to drive back and give them back the food, 15 minutes drive to get a bad teriyaki chicken, and the udon noodles seem to have a funny taste from the previous days, only the prawns were edible, I felt terrible because I bought 4 packs for family dinner, it was terrible, then they pour in sauce to like I was having soup. My worst experience eating out in my entire life, and this is the last. Money gone, I paid for a service and got cheated. So pissed cz l’m sure we are getting food poisoning. Going to the pharmacy first thing tomorrow.

Food was ok, good portion size particularly if you go for the large however some of the food was cold and chips were quite lacklustre. Similar price point to Dr Noodles so difficult to not compare the two. Service was good just a little slow (maybe around a 15-20 minute wait). Tap water not provided here. Restaurant has seating, clean and bright.

Went to try out the place for the first time. Use the self serve kiosk to place the order, found that some items were not available on there (meal deals were not shown, but were on the paper menus). After placing the order, there was a fair wait for the food, but eventually got the order. Unfortunately there were items missing from the order. Told the staff behind the counter who apologised and said they'll get the missing items for us. There was another ~5-10 mins wait before we finally got the rest of our order. It was a shame because the food wasn't too bad, but the service definitely needed to improve. There seems to be a lack of coordination behind the counter with some staff running around and others were standing around doing nothing.

Food was excellent, hot and full of flavour! service was slightly slow just due to business, quite spicy if your not a spicey person. Highly recommend

So they did this “WOW” opening in style… and week later heading downhill with extreme speed… Thank you, for serving sour odd “food”… extremely uncooked rice with old sour veges (and no, it was not due to sour sauce in it)… I tried just little bit, but will suffer from food poisoning for the next day… AVOID IF YOU CAN! We have better noodle places in the Deen than this… And not to mention service! Crazy slow!…

A new chain restaurants with noodles cuisines, with the option of ordering takeaway or eating in (there's few tables inside). I paid £7.95 for a medium set of 2 bases to choose from + 2 types of topping. My set was Udon Noodles, Vegetable Noodles with Sweet & Sour Chicken + Caramel Chicken bits. In my opinion, the S&S Chicken was a bit bland and the Caramel chicken on the other hand was a bit too sweet, more like syrup than sauce. But maybe it's because the place is newly opened. You place your order from 2 available e-kiosks. The waiting time from placing the order to receiving the meal was 20 minutes. I'll give them a chance in a few months. My rating is 4* for now.
