Golden City in Aberdeen City

Used to love this place but went downhill.Ordered 2 chicken marylands,the banana fritters were burnt and soggy and the chips tasted like they had been heated up.Will be giving this place a miss in the future

Have tried various places since the closure of Chopsticks. This will be my go to place going forward. Have tried the Special Chow Mein and the Special Curry. Both were delicious. I don’t like my curry overly spicy. It was to my liking. I have also tried the bbq spare ribs and the Crispy Pancake. I’ll definitely have theses again too. Highly recommend. Lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly.

Family owned, very friendly, quality food, only Chinese I've liked since getting to ABZ, probably won't go elsewhere unless the quality drops, and then I'll update my review. But for now, best of the 3/4 places I've tried, by FAR.

Very rude driver. Didn’t read delivery instructions. Clearly started to phone on arrival as kids were sleeping. I said to the driver is did say to call on arrival and he said yeah whatever. Not happy at all

First class Chinese takeaway tried many different meals and everyone is brilliant no complaints from me well done guys keep up the good work.

After the reviews I wanted to try out the place..some terrible smell came from the garden where we had chance to see the kitchen is in awful condition. The food has no taste and the sweet and sour sauce was a joke.. The veggie curry is like a Morrisons savers. I am very easy going but this place was terrible.

Truly the worst food I've ever had. The people leaving good review must work there because it is awful.

This is the best Chinese in Aberdeen. Fast delivery but more important than the food is always good. The beef chow main is the best been going here for 10 years now. Prizes fine. Have tried others but keep coming back here. No other gives me a beef chow main in this way

I was well served by the staffs. Amazing food and decent quality. Can’t complain at all. Definitely will come back again. The Chicken Curry is the best curry I have ever had😋😋😋

The shop is rediculously ourdated and dirty. Expensive, greasy and more meat in lentil soup! Absolutely disgusting!

Very good taste and good portions I keep returning there its lovley. You can request anything and they aim to please. They don't keep you waiting either and they deliver too

We use this take away all the time. Usually we get home delivery and it is always speedy. The food is lovely. The sweet and sour chicken is really good. Great sized portions and really good prices. Highly recommend you try it.

had special fried rice(no sauce) chips & noodles in beansprout not being funny but i wont use this chinese again, special fried rice was bland (tasteless) the prawns and the ham in it are like mush, chips were chips and the noodles and beansprout again tasteless with no seasoning at all, first time i have used this chinese and let me tell you first impressions do last

First class Chinese takeaway with huge portion sizes at very affordable prices. We have been using Golden City for years and their friendly and fast service is second to none. Can't recommend this takeaway highly enough. One portion easily feeds two people and they're meals are always tasty. A Warm welcome is always provided by their staff if collecting an order.

Best food great prices amazing quality and quantity my partner and I share a main meal it's so big and delicious delivery times are good and they get to know their regulars

Been going here for years but was there on Sunday and it was so good!! I had chicken curry and the wife had Chinese style chicken and bean sprouts was delicious. A must go place!!

Out of all the Chinese Take Aways I have eaten from this is by far the best. My only disappointment is when I fancy a Chinese and it's closed. The food is well cooked, the meals are full of meat and veg, I've never had a meal I didn't like and the Deep Fried Chicken with Chilli and Spicy Salt started is the best. The prices are very reasonable and the delivery is quick!
