China Town in Aberdeen City

Nice place to eat with good Chinese food. Prices reasonable if not a little high but I feel everywhere is like that now. Atmosphere is nice perhaps the interior needs a small revamp. We really enjoyed the set menu for 2 and actually liked eating this over a couple of hours as we never felt rushed. Would come back

The worst Chinese food I ever had. Both the soup and the beef curry were badly cooked.

Well ... maybe the taste is different in Aberdeen ... but the chicken corn soup was OK ... fried rice was not really fried and the main dish didn't look good or 'fresh'... everything was covered with that sticky gravy ... well ... your decision...

Wanton soup was good in the cold weather. The starter plate was interesting with many variety. The food is too westernized and too sweet. Service and atmosphere are good.

It is a great experience as always at China Town. Remembering who you are to the quality of the food, always delicious and tasty. Must go more often. Great staff and service.

Highly recommend dining here. We visit about once a month and never disappointed. Place itself is clean and comfortable and given we visit so often we are known now by the great staff. 5 star plus in our opinion

Nothing spectacular but nice and clean with good value food and drink. Pity that the staf did not understand that a coffee liqueur should at the very least have coffee involved ???

I didnt even tried the food so cant comment but the service is the worst I have ever experienced… I order takeaway and while I was waiting for it after 30 mins, they notified me it was given to someone else but that they were already cooking to replace it. 30 mins later they notify me that it wasnt cooked!!!!…..I am not returning to this place due to the lack of seriousness and ineptitude…

Been going here for years haven't had a bad meal yet, staff are polite and friendly and the food delicious, try the Salt & Pepper Spare ribs wonderful.

Wide menu with starters around £5-6.50 and mains around £9-10.50. Arrived quite early (6.30pm on a week night), so restaurant quiet. Food was excellent (particularly the starters!) and staff attentive and professional. Thoroughly recommend.

We decided to try this place. Lovely place staff are very dry. Our meal took along time to even get to us. The worst thing was i ordered a noodle soup no chicken. As i can't eat much meat. What followed i cant comprehend! 🤢🤮🤢🤮 the noodles were in some really dark juice but the smell from the bowl was like an off fishy smell. Its was horrible. I was nearly sick. All i got from the waiter was "well u asked for it with no chicken" i order this everytime from many chinese resturants & have never bn served what ever that was! Rest of meal was ok but chips had a funny taste to them. This place has put me off chinese food. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Do NOT order online from their website -- it does not work. Staff did not immediately apologise for this when I turned up 45 mins later after confirmation email to collect... that aside, I ordered via JustEat and collected this order, and the staff were then very apologetic. What made me rewrite my initial 1 star review was the quality of the food -- this is the best Chinese food I have had outside of London by a long shot and I would *highly* recommend their food. The restaurant seemed relaxed and I would return to dine in for certain.

Worst service ever experienced in a restaurant, 2 hrs just to get starters and a round of drinks nothing but excuse after excuse. We had our kids with us. People beside us complaining. Then another table was obviously owners or staff who were just going to kitchen and coming out with huge plate fulls of food while the customers suffered. Won't be back !!

Just moved to Aberdeen and tried this restaurant. What a nice surprise! The food turned out to be one of the best Chinese food I personally had in the UK! And the owner is such a nice friendly talkative old man! He kept offering my child more rice even when she couldn't eat anymore. Kept offering me more coffee. Had such a very friendly nice chat with us. Highly recommend!

I was asking the owner of the restaurant some questions while he was taking order. After two questions, he got frustrated and was speaking in a rude manner. He refused to serve us while swinging his arm out showing the door, and said there's other restaurant along the street. This is such a bad service and a rude communication from the owner.

Nice place. Nice food. I just wished there were pictures of the dishes in the menu although every dish was explained very well though. I do recommend this place to anybody craving for Chinese food.

Terrible had to wait ages for food when it finally arrived it was over cooked it was reheated and tastless.we got loads of apologises from the boss.But that didn't matter when the main courses came the plateswhich were put down 20 minutes before I had to ask the waitress to reheat them.She laughed at us as if to say though luck.The main courses came out and they were disgusting

Went in in person to order a takeaway, waited quite awhile but got my meal eventually, not the meal i ordered, the food is nice enough but not what i ordered, very dissapointing also very overcharged for a small wine while i waited, £5 for a small wine, waiter who attended me was quite rude and not interested just wanted my order, don't think i will be going back anytime soon, they are more interested in the diners in the restaurant.

Very slow and the food wasn't the best . Seems to be the staff are more interested in bigger groups rather than couples. Starter arrived after 30mins and 40mins on the main course 30mins on our first drinks . Understaffed . Wouldn't recommend

Hi I can't fault the food and the value for money it is BUT THE DRINKS I WAS CHARGED 8.00 POUNDS FOR TWO PINTS OF BLACKCURRANT CORDIAL AND WATER .The excuse was that's what is programmed in to the till . Disgusted

After finding our usual restaurant closed gave China Town a try and found a really excellent restaurant the food was absolutely fabulous and the staff very friendly and proficient in serving what was an excellent tasty meal will definitely be back when we travel back to Aberdeen and highly recommend this estabkishment

It is expensive for a bottle of beer @ £4.50. Probably the best starter I have had in a Chinese restaurant - highly recommend the mixed platter for 2, good value & very tasty. I had sweet & sour chicken, battered but nice however could of used a little more sauce. Very full stomach upon departure, we will be back!

Remember that You have to pay extra money for rice. Beef was... lets say "good" and the service really nice.
