Food and service week good but atmosphere was a bit lacking

What a lovely gem... We where greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. Myself and husband shared a starter of spring rolls and had a main each... Sweet and sour chicken and Singapore noodle and rice. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. The two ladies are very attentive and always happy to help you nothing was too much trouble. We are actually staying in a hotel with half board bases but their food is bland and tiny... We both recommend this fab Chinese restaurant it really is worth it.

Just excellent i was there two nights and both meals were fantastic! i could not fault this place, food and service was Great!

I opted for a takeaway with my son's yesterday. I had been to Bar Wok a few years ago and had a lovely meal there. When we arrived home and opened the food, we were greatly disappointed. The duck was tough and covered in fat, we counted 8 pieces in the container. Chicken satay was also tough. For £34 (crackers, noodles, rice, chicken satay and duck) portions were poor. For the price I was really disappointed. I'm not one to complain but I called the restaurant who issued a refund for the duck. Sadly we will not choose to order from here again.

Really good clean food, so tasty, excellent Vegan menu

Food was good but the portion is so small. Their main is somewhere else starter size. I’m a small lady and don’t eat much but that main didn’t even fill me up, and it was £17 plus service so that’s £20 for essentially a starter. Overpriced for what it was. Didn’t think it was good value for money.

The food was absolutely amazing we had a fair share of different meals and all were outstanding! The service was very friendly and welcoming and the overall atmosphere of the restaurants was very cosy. Would highly recommend !

Anything but Tasty House! The chicken was extremely DRY, the noddles tasted awful, and the chips were clearly old and refried—the whole meal was just thrown together. Honestly, I’ve had better from a microwave meal. Not worth the money or the calories.

I visited this bar based on a recommendation I found online, where it was described as the best place to enjoy beef noodle soup by some popular Instagram influencers. Unfortunately, mine experience didn’t quite live up to the praise. The tables were sticky, the restroom wasn’t very appealing, and there seemed to be tenants living in the basement, which added to the unusual atmosphere. As for the soup, it reminded me of leftovers that might have been repurposed from previous days—lacking flavor, with an overpowering amount of vinegar that seemed to mask everything, and pieces of fatty meat that weren’t particularly enjoyable. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I’d suggest exploring other options if you’re looking to enjoy Asian cuisine.

We consider ourselves Chinese Takeaway connoisseurs and wow this didn’t disappoint! Fantastic from the very beginning. The gentleman was extremely welcoming and polite which is always a great start. The food was piping hot and exceedingly delicious. I wouldn’t look anywhere else if I was in Windermere.

A must visit while you’re in Hastings!! Really good food, good portions! We always have to visit when we are in the area- miss it when we arent. Give it a go! The chicken chow mein & gyozas are incredible
