The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Been coming here to eat with my kids for years food is traditional Chinese and the dim sum is probably the best in Southampton . The staff are always happy to serve us delicious food nice experience and consistent quality also great atmosphere .thank you .

Hot. Fresh. Flavorable. Service that makes you feel like you it's your 1000th time visiting even if it's your first time. Prices are fair. A bit of a tight squeeze but who cares? Because it's delicious.

We arrived at the time we booked and not many people there. I asked to sit at a certain table, and was told NO and we were ushered towards the side of the restaurant and were told we need to be out in 2 hours. That was our welcoming and first impression. The starters, soup and duck in pancakes weren't too bad, although the satay chicken on skewers were as dry as a bone, the chicken balls the same and the spare ribs hardly had any meat on them. Sesame toast was good and the prawn balls too, but unfortunately the mains were so disappointing. I have never eaten such poor crispy chilli beef or salt and pepper squid; it was like eating the batter with nothing on the inside, tasteless! Luckily the banana fritter made up for it a little but what a waste of money (£25 each) overall. Never again.

Been to the restaurant and always had a great meal but ordered takeaway tonight as our usual wasn’t open and that quite budgetif I’m honest or so I thought but after tonight it’s become high quality because that’s the worst takeaway I’ve had in years and 28 quid for 4 items so disappointed

The food is good, service is fantastic. Only down side is the food doesn’t seem to be cooked fresh when you order as it’s ready too quickly. Also a bit expensive.

The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a night out. The food was delicious, with a great mix of flavors, though a bit pricey. Service was attentive but could be faster. Overall, a solid choice for a memorable meal!

Food was piping hot and tasty. Not the best sweet and sour, a little too sweet but other sauces were good

Always great freshly cooked Chinese cuisine. My son really loves egg fried rice with sweet and sour ribs and spring rolls. Always great food experience

Food is good. Been here twice but served really really slow.

First time here and really like the spicy sour chicken noodles!! And my friend really enjoyed the Sichuan spicy chicken noodles ☺️ will come next time!

Amazing food and amazing staff !!

Bring earplugs! Food fantastic, although if you order sweet and sour, you recieve a thimble full. Staff don't return to tables for you to order more either. Staff were more interested in carryout and delivery service. Perhaps the restaurant should not exist. Saturday night is busy, but if they are so successful, perhaps employing some one to answer the phone would be advised. It rang CONSTANTLY when we were there, so 1.5 hours. We couldn't hear ourselves speak. Staff standing beside it didn't even answer it. We had to seek out our own bill at the 'bar', and it was thrown at us. At no point did ANYONE ask if we needed anything else, if we were satisfied with our meal. Sad really, the money is their own driving force.

Friendly efficient staff served us all up a hot tasty meal, which everyone enjoyed. This restaurant is in the centre of town, but is a hidden gem. I didn't even know it was there. Choice on the menu exceeded expectations and several different dishes were ordered. Lots of Cinese Families were eating which is always a good sign. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. There was one sting in the tail. One of our party couldn't eat all her meal and asked for a doggy bag. Her meal was put into two plastic containers for her to take home. When we got the bill, we saw that we had been charged 30p each for the containers and 10p for the carrier bag. First time ever have I been charged for a doggy bag. Be aware......

Excellent food, chilled atmosphere, friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit
