Visited here for the first time not knowing what to expect but WOW! The host guided us through the menu and even offered to tailor dishes to our liking. The food was delicious, best salt and pepper chips we’ve ever had!

We made a recent visit to the the Beijing Restaurant in Leyland. The tables were a little cramped in with very little room around them. The service on the night was painfully slow, added to as they advised us they were short staffed in the kitchen. It was clear the the restaurant was prioritising take away orders over people sitting in the restaurant as we watched as bags and bags of food went out. While we were there five tables complained a number of times over the slow trickle of food to the tables and one even got up and left. Over all the service was quite poor despite the best efforts of the gentleman helping. After three and a half hours we had finished our meal and the food was of a good standard. The sweet and sour chicken and the crispy beef were both very nice. Sometimes I think restaurants need to prioritise people in house as a ten minute hold on the take away orders would have let the kitchen catch up. An apology would always be welcomed by guests and even just a small token gesture like a complimentary tea, coffee or shot of snaps after the meal would make a massive difference towards putting things right.

Came with an old friend for food. We have both been before and this place never lets us down. It’s one of the best I’ve ever been to. Great range of menu choices, banquets and delicious food and drinks. The staff are amazing and very attentive.

What has happened to the food at this restaurant? We have been several times before and the food had been tasty. Not the case any more! The lovely beef ribs are now horrible fatty tasteless pork ribs, there was no spring rolls or prawn toast but tasteless potato croquette and slimy dumplings. The crispy duck was so dry it nearly chipped my teeth, the steak sizzling platter was rubbery and the sizzling sauce was placed right close to us and the boiling hot sauce burnt my hand! The female owner, who brings the food out is so rude. She forgot our plates and cutlery and if you ask her for anything she acts like she is doing you a huge favour and practically throws it on the table! The prices have increased but the food quality has deteriorated. I will not be going back!

Food and service was outstanding. We had one of the banquets and it had good portions and every dish was great. A lucky find…. We randonly visited this restaurant when we wanted a Chinese meal and decided to try Leyland instead of Preston. We will be back soon.

I have been here many years ago, and wanted to return. I had the satay chicken skewers, and the satay sauce it was in was very watery, and nothing like a satay sauce. I also ordered a chicken chow mein which they adapted my order. When the bill came there was no break down of the cost (ie drinks £20.00 Food £40.00). It was very expensive for what we had. I will not be visiting again.

Great food as always, been coming here for years. Good service, good food what more can you ask for. Had the banquet love the soup, lovely platter then we had between us Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef Mix Veg and Beef Curry. Yummy

Takeaway : we usually get takeaways from a variety of places including Beijing and it’s always been ok but the last 3 times we’ve had issues. The most recent one was an order for £40 - my main was inedible and smelled funny - not off but couldn’t put my finger on what it was. My partners ribs were mere fat chewy and flavourless. His rice was greasy mush. Sorry Jack - you’ve lost some loyal customers !

I am gluten free and my partner is vegetarian so I was skeptical when he suggested we come here as I don’t often find Chinese food that I can eat, but our waiter, I think his name was Jack, was completely clued up about my allergy and was amazing at talking us through my options. The rosé wine I had was lovely, the food was delicious, and service was good; all in all a wonderful experience and we will be returning as often as possible.

2 x meals wasn’t up to much same taste different dishes £27 waste of money. To be honest not the worst in leyland

Went with my family to celebrate the ‘would have been’ 70’th birthday of my wonderful sister passed There are no words to describe the service we received here. The staff were truly amazing and ridiculously entertaining😂. Made our night !!! The food was also the best I have ever had in a Chinese restaurant and all amazing value. Myself and the family popped into The Beijing in Leyland for some dinner over the weekend. We didn't book, and we just called-in, on the off-chance they had a table available for some early dinner. Right from the start, we were greeted by friendly staff, and it was no problem at all that we hadn't booked a table that evening. The restaurant is run-by, and owned by a lovely couple who were genuinely welcoming and sincerely friendly when we arrived. The restaurant is absolutely IMMACULATE, clean, tidy and finished to a very high standard with lovely chairs and attractive table settings. NOTHING was too much trouble for the staff there, and they literally bent-over-backwards to accommodate my family and to make us feel so, so welcome! And the food? Absolutely lovely! The food was fresh and tasty, with great portions. We all felt like we had eaten something really 'special' that evening, with absolutely superb service to compliment the gorgeous food. And we're so looking forward to going back again very soon!

Last visit here was over ten years ago! What a little gem this restaurant is . My daughter took me for a treat and what a treat it was . We had a set banquet for two . The food was delicious 😋 the service was fantastic. We found the customer service here had been the best we have had for the last year. Will highly recommend.

We visited on the 10th of February, and they were short staffed, so that didn't help. The food was good. However, trying to get a drink was hard work, plus I was charged £4.50 a pint of lime and soda. That's a disgusting price. So I won't be back

We are visiting family and coming from London. The food is really good and cooked fresh. The couple running the restaurant are full of energy and wonderful. You feel welcomed, service is prompt and warm. I wish we could have that level in London. Very very nice

Been here twice in a month for some reason! It's a strange place. And they asked us to pay in a bank transfer as they had cash flow issues. It was very strange. Tonight we again had the 23 pounds per head 3 course meal each. The bill came to 70 pounds for two and we could not understand why it was so hight we had a coke each and some extra chips. This seems to happen here. Strange bills and strange payment methods it makes me feel uncomfortable. Nothing wrong with the food but won't be rushing back after tonights experience it feels they are adding money on the bill.

Got a takeaway for three of us from here the other night. Not cheap compared to none restaurant Chinese takeaway but as it was boxing day little was open. Delivery took much longer than it stated but the food was lovely and good quality. I am going to start using the restaurant as its good quality

Hadn’t visited the Bejing for a few years, but we decided to book for my girlfriends 21st meal with family and friends. From the start the experience was wonderful, the young man that runs it is fantastic, great sense of humour had the whole table in stitches!The food was amazing, and a very good price! The larger ‘sun lik’ is really good and again reasonable prices. We went on a Thursday evening and had a big table right in the middle of the restaurant, we didn’t feel pushed out and it was great for a big group like us with a few big characters in!We ordered the £17.90 banquet menu, very good value and everything cooked to perfection. My 84 year old man dosent eat much but they made her s lovely prawn salad with a nice sauce on, and she had fresh melon for dessert. This was the first time I have visited Bejing (for a takeaway). It was a bustling Sunday evening and the welcome was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The menu was good and the food very tasty and well cooked. One of the better takeaways I have had. Will certainly going back to try the restaurant.

We arrived at this restaurant 15 minutes earlier than our friends, the staff didn’t know what I said so just sat us down at the table, felt like we were in the way with all the other people eating, couldn’t have a drink at the bar.Our friends arrived and service was ok, came for drinks then rushed us to order by asking us to order on 3 separate occasions when we’d only just spoke to our friends, we did order and everything came, the main course we ordered was sizzling steak with green peppers which was unedable, the steak was tough! Didn’t eat it apart from the sauce, just wasn’t great. Finally the bill arrived and to our shock they’d charged us both for me and my husband 25.00 for the steaks plus for the rice and noodles separate! The price for the 6 of us to eat was £171.00! There were no little shots after the meal, there were no little chocolates after our meal! We work hard for our money and really didn’t want to pay that much money for something that wasn’t the nicest! The place had no ambiance, everything was rushed, way to expensive, and not the friendliest staff! Some of them were lovely but some just didn’t make conversation just wanted to take your plate away!

Sort of place that gives great personal service and enjoyable meals in a pleasant enough room. Got a nice draught beer in" Sun" but not so nice draught coke. Food was nicely presented and tasted good, service was as you'd expect, v good. A little expensive at £30 for 2 drinks and 2 curries with fried rice but certainly worth another visit

Just love this value for money restaurant. Went last Sunday for the buffet at £10.50 each which is amazing value for money. Can't wait to go back

Hemos estado en este restaurante muchas veces a lo largo de los años, y nunca tuvimos una mala comida. Esta noche nos fuimos para el "todo lo que puedas comer" Buffett y de nuevo no nos decepcionó. Sopa de pollo y maíz dulce para empezar, ganó aperitivo toneladas, costillas, rollitos de primavera y churro lo pollo. Seguido de un plato principal con arroz, fideos y papas fritas y helado o café. Usted puede pedir cualquier campo como re allá. Personal encantador y atmósfera familiar.

Came for Mothers day with my family and it was wonderful, all you can eat 4 course banquet for an increased price of 11.99 normally 9.99. First visit and the food was lovely, the staff were great, personally couldn't fault it, would definately go back

La camarera china obviamente no estaba de humor para servir y probó por tirar todos los campos en la mesa, cuando pedimos unwrapped presentó los palillos cuando otros palillos diners estaban envueltos de higiene. Toda la experiencia fue mala de principio a fin terminando con la factura que son traídas a la mesa antes de que habíamos terminado nuestra comida!

Went to the Bejing on Saturday night and was very impressed with the atmosphere, service and the quality of the food on offer. We opted for the £15.90 four course buffet and each course was excellently presented and tasty. We will certainly be back in the near future.

We came here as we where staying for the weekend in leyland and was recommended by the hotel we where staying in. The food was fabulous and the service was great very relaxed environment perfect for couples but also thought we would bring our children here too, will definitely be visiting again. Wish this restraunt was our local chinese as we would certainly be regular visitors.

Went to the bejing resturant last weekend tried the unlimited Buffett . Great value for money lovely food and very good service . Well done will come here again in future .

We were served food that was barely edible.the waitress told us she couldn't be bothered to sort out who's was who's because there were children in the group. We were rushed because there was another group due in.the noodles arrived after the main course was eaten .the place has slowly declined over the years. 2 star hygiene rating tells you all you need to know.

Went for mothers day meal with around 16 family members in total. Although food was ok it has been better however we were rushed through our courses, kept being told to be out for particular time. Waiters were rude, couldn't be bothered sorting out whose meal was what and left it to us to find out, noodles brought out too late so everyone had finished majority of their curry dish. Just didn't feel enjoyable this time round.

Had a lovely meal last Friday night with family. The food was excellent, piping hot, and served by a very friendly waiter, very enjoyable and will look forward to dining again soon.
