Beautiful food in restaurant and takeaway highly recommend!!

I had to do another review of the Beijing, as I made a huge mistake, the last time! I gave them good marks, but said I wouldn't use them again, as the £6 delivery charge was exorbitant - not noticing it didn't apply to the final order! Sorry, Beijing

Food was incredible, excellent vegetarian selection, came so fast, hot and fresh. Service was outstanding, an absolute gem of a restaurant for leyland! Perfect - 10/10. Would recommend to everyone!

Truly a wonderful Chinese, the whole evening was faultless, from great service great value and brilliant food. We stopped off here on the way home from the lakes, and we could not have wished to end our holiday better.

Only ordered a takeaway from the restaurant as we needed to get home after a busy day out. They open Tuesday unlike a lot of Chinese restaurants. I can say this is the most delicious Chinese food I have eaten in the UK. The ribs in OK sauce were very meaty and had a very thin coating on them. The pork in the pork and mushroom was both sliced and in chunks and my partner’s crispy chilli beef was very nice and not too spicy. The price was extremely reasonable considering it is not just a takeaway. We arrived ten minutes before opening time and the Manager kindly let us in to order and we returned 15 minutes later to take home. We will definitely make this our regular place to eat. They only took cash for takeaway not sure about dining in but a cash point is a few doors away.

Good food and quick service! We were an early booking so the restaurant was quiet but it was busy as we left.

Visited for the first time on a quiet Thursday evening. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had a banquet for 2 , and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Served by a charming young waiter , service was just right. Portions are generous and alcoholic drinks reasonably priced We have lived a few miles from here for 12 years, can’t believe that we have not visited before ! Looking forward to next visit .

Wonderful food as always. Delivered ahead of the estimated time and piping hot.

Come here quite regular with friends. Basic decor but great food and service. Always friendly and wants to chat. Parking can be hit and miss as parking on the road

My son took us for a meal food was ok but very greasy, for 4 adults and 4 children with a couple of drinks the bill was £240 for what you got thought it was expensive the service was poor especially the ladies the man was ok,would not return

Been more than a few times the food is expectional, the services is excellent. The owner is very friendly, and the food is always to a high standard. Take-away or eat in I recommend both

Visited here for the first time not knowing what to expect but WOW! The host guided us through the menu and even offered to tailor dishes to our liking. The food was delicious, best salt and pepper chips we’ve ever had!

One of the best if not the best chinese restaurant I've ever eaten in or had takeaway from Jackie and Kelly , chef's and the staff they go above and beyond to ensure your visit , atmosphere , quality of food and experience is 1st class.

Honestly, the best meal myself and my mates have gone out for last night. The food was amazing and the host was funny, very chatty and the service was phenomenal. Would highly recommend this place to everyone

M GOI!! A beautiful restaurant with lots of pretty traditional decoration. The staff are well trained and friendly and professional. I took my Malaysian GF for her first leyland Chinese/Cantonese experience and she cannot wait to return. we had prawns as a starter followed by egg fried rice, pork belly and fried lettuce. And every bite was delicious and our server was a lovely guy who I'd guess was early 30s. I feel rude as I didn't ask his name, however he worked the room very well for a reasonably busy Friday night and was lovely in how he informed us about the food/culture.

Long delivery time quoted on the site 70-90 mins so was pleased when it arrived 45 mins early. The starters were all really tasty our only criticism was the curry, it lacked flavour and was watery.

We made a recent visit to the the Beijing Restaurant in Leyland. The tables were a little cramped in with very little room around them. The service on the night was painfully slow, added to as they advised us they were short staffed in the kitchen. It was clear the the restaurant was prioritising take away orders over people sitting in the restaurant as we watched as bags and bags of food went out. While we were there five tables complained a number of times over the slow trickle of food to the tables and one even got up and left. Over all the service was quite poor despite the best efforts of the gentleman helping. After three and a half hours we had finished our meal and the food was of a good standard. The sweet and sour chicken and the crispy beef were both very nice. Sometimes I think restaurants need to prioritise people in house as a ten minute hold on the take away orders would have let the kitchen catch up. An apology would always be welcomed by guests and even just a small token gesture like a complimentary tea, coffee or shot of snaps after the meal would make a massive difference towards putting things right.

I have never been here before…. But wow this was amazing and I will definitely be back.

Paid resteraunt price got cheap takeaway standard food

We have had take away from here several times, and it's always been very tasty and still warm when we gotnit back home. I look forward to ordering and tucking in!

really inconsistent. sometimes nice other times not. today arrived cold, instructions not to include beansprouts hadn’t been followed and prawn crackers were stale. too hit and miss won’t use again unfortunately

Staff are fantastic, food prompt and piping hot, bubbly happy environment. This has become our go to Chinese never had a bad meal yet!!!!!

I ordered lemon chicken which felt dry and was tough to eat. Everything else was fine.

I got a delivery of chicken curry and rice. It was the worst I’ve ever had. Almost tasteless and with obvious frozen veg thrown in. I’ve never had a Chinese chicken curry that had cubed carrots green beans and sweetcorn in. Horrible. Don’t waste your hard earned money. I’ve had better from Tesco!!!

When I ate in. The food was lovely, but slow to arrive. When you order on here the food is still slow to arrive but also tastes horrible.

Took 2 hours to arrive, no apology and no courtesy to let me know it was going to be an hour late! When it arrived it wasn’t tasty like other local Chinese, very average to say the least but at least it was hot I suppose. Very disappointed

amazing food tonight (20/01/2024) from Beijing Restaurant!!! 10/10!!! the deep fried pork in sweet and sour sauce was delicious. the hot and sour soup was tasty as well. the yeung chow fried rice is excellent. curry chicken good. spring rolls are great, duck spring rolls good too. arrived hot and on time. would order again. thanks guys!

Possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Ordered chicken satay skewers, got a satay-ish soup with plain slimy chicken pieces. Lemon chicken, couldn't taste any lemon. Seaweed, overcooked and tasteless. Ribs, very weird and almost fried with rubbery bones inside. Even the prawn crackers were undercooked. If you enjoy food DON'T order from here. £42 and all of it was disgusting.

It's absolutely terrible. App was updated at 0730 to say 'enjoy your food', and we haven't received anything. Tried to call the restaurant 23 times. The line is busy. Won't be using it again. Will be requesting a refund.

Me and my partner visited last night and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the menu had lots of choices. The staff were friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to go back

Ruddy tasty grub! Ribs, squid, chicken wings in OK sauce, Hot and sour soup, chips, prawn toast and prawn crackers! All cooked to perfection. Only thing I could critique is the chips are like fries chips and not chippy chips. Wasn't an issue, just a slight surprise.

Best Chinese in Leyland. The host and his wife run this restaurant really well. Great laugh with him throughout the meal. They both went out of their way to make us welcome. This is a must.

I always order crispy duck, it’s not fatty and full of meat. I like how they cook the meat as it tender. understanding staff and on time delivery and hot. Lovely service. You pay more for quality. Worth every penny for good service and food. Thankyou.

We visited in Sunday for the buffet style banquet. Food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. The staff are really friendly and made our party really welcome. They really made a fuss of my 87 year old grandma & made the evening enjoyable. The restaurant could do with a bit of a freshen up, but this does not detract from the food or staff

Came late. Added a note to ask not to knock and did. Twice. Ordered salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper prawns and a combo starter. All come soggy no crispiness at all. Will never order again

Disappointed with portion sizes. After a almost £60 order I’ve found much better value for money with other take aways that offer extras in big orders. Food was tasty but nothing amazing. Won’t try again.

Their staff is very accommodating. Foods are served hot with a great amount. Chinese beer is great, too. Kelly and Jackie are hospitable.

Ordered at 6:30 delivered at 9pm.

We were very (pleasantly) surprised to receive our order about an hour earlier than anticipated. The app wasn’t even showing the food having been collected by the driver and it was already at our door. That could have been an issue in another occasion, however, on this occasion it arriving so much earlier was actually welcome. Food was delicious and nice and hot. First time we have used this restaurant. Will definitely use again.

We had a great night here, food was good and portion sizes large, there's a good variety of veggie options and the waiter was great at understanding my peanut allergy and catering. The highlight of the night was the waiter who was hilarious, he even did magic tricks for my niece and nephew. Great service, we will be back again
