The food was delicious and the portions were generous, the lemon chicken is highly recommended.

My first time at the New Lee Wong since that legend of a man Lee retired. Sounds weird but I miss the curtains, all the tat and his epic greeting when calling for a takeaway. The new owners have done well. It’s a lot tidier and more commercial and certainly suited to the casual ‘sweet and sour’ culture that is the British. I was devastated to have my food presented in Tupperware. It really puts me off. The food I did have was a lot different and good in their own ways. Lots of colour and flavours as I’d expect. Staff were very friendly. I’m going to shop about before committing another 30 years to a place so I may be back. For now I will spend most pay days yearning for Lees Crispy Chilli Beef and the subsequent dehydration and gas that it gave me.

This was our 1st takeaway from the New Lee Wong .Enjoyed everything apart from the duck It was disgusting 🫣 Went straight in the bin .Tasted off and smelt .(maybe I have been spoilt with Lee's duck for 30years).The other food was delicious.Hot and tasted fantastic. Service quick .polite good value for money.Will be back but not for duck.

Wouldn't use the old Lee Wong as always dripping with oil, but thought we would try the new Lee Wong. Food was functional, didn't have the taste of the other local Chinese takeaway, The Great Wall. Everything was slightly less, S&S sauce was like water, Ribs in sauce were tasteless, chicken balls the chicken was pink. Wont be going back. Ps, Card machine not working, absolute pain!

Having been a 30+ year customer and fan of old Lee Wong takeaway in Huntingdon, I've just had my first takeaway from new Lee Wong. I can honestly say it was delicious! I look forward to being a 30+ year customer of the new owners, although I may not have that time left. Go on... give them a try!

I popped in for a take away after the Lee wongs reopened as the new Lee Wongs. I chose the set menu for one, which consisted of sweet and sour chicken, fried beef and mushrooms, and egg fried rice. I was very disappointed with the food. The sauce had no flavour at all, this is probably the worst chinese takeaway I have ever had,so I will not be going back, I'm afraid.

Been twice for take away food is lovely not salty or greasey but could be made stay hotter.

Delicious as always) New Lee Wong doesn't understand what Gluten Free means, unable to find out if even boiled rice is Gluten Free. Staff hung up the phone. New Lee Wongs was excellent, clean fresh food, friendly staff and a decent new menu revamp.. I love the new addition of the online menu.. although I will miss Lee’s friendly chat when ordering, the new Lee Wongs is definitely keeping his local reputation alive. I would definitely recommend if in the area.

Probably the worst Chinese I have ever had- no idea why the reviews are good on Google. The noodles were so unbelievably dry, if you threw them at the wall they’d stick. Asked for salt and chilli chips, got chips with table salt and pepper on. Asked for sweet & sour chicken, got the balls and the sauce is so vinegary. Even the egg fried rice taste just like soy sauce- I can make better at home. Avoid!!!!!

I think this place is the most Authentic Chinese takeaway I have ever been in out side of either China towns. Mr Wong is just awesome, he has a menu that is just simple but fantastic. Mr Wongs place is somewhere that has been in place for over 30 years... this is the reason. The food we ordered was cooked fresh by the Man himself, so I don't mind the wait, it wasn't laiden in grease, it was just beautiful. Tbh I feel like I have been missing out only having just discovering his takeaway as we are not local. We can't thank you enough Mr Wong for explaining the difference between dishes without looking at me like you want to lose the will to live 😉. We think your take away is amazing and awesome and super and we can't wait to get back. 🙏🏻

Worst restaurant to order from. Order took more than 3 hours, when trying to cancel due to late delivery. Restaurant reacted by being very rude and refused to refund. So ended up with no delivery and fully paid for.

Lee Wong is a local legend. Unfortunately due to house moves I hadn't been for a while but then in the past three months I have been twice and Lee still remembers me from when I was a toddler and I am not 32.

Food was amazing. I looked good and tasty 😋 so much to choose from... the banana fitters were also perfect.

I was going to say that Lee Wong always delivers, but actually I always collect! The food is always fabulous - tip top quality tranditional-style Chinese takeaway. It's best to phone ahead at peak times and allow an hour or so for the food to be cooked.

While the food is usually great, today I ordered #99 and sadly the beef came very pink.

The dilemma is that there are no good chinese restaurants or takeaways in the local area, not even Cinta that many rate highly. This isnt szechuan, Cantonese, hunan etc and I highly doubt anyone having grown up in a chinese household would lower themselves to even consider ordering anything from literally any of the establishments. This is just low quality slop knocked up for uninitiated and people fall for it time and time again... but it's hot food that tastes of something and a change to midweek uncle Ben's or Dolmio, shovel it in while watching a saturday night game show. Snobbish? No. Reality? Yes. Cognitive dissonance? Yes.

Everytime I visit Lee Wongs it is Chicken Fried Rice for me which I absolutely Love. I occassionly have Prawn Crackers

Excellent food, pancake roll amazing, all mains and rice were very good, mushroom foo yung needed more seasoning/flavour and prawn toast was a bit dry. We would definitely go again.

I wasn't impressed at all with the food.i had a spring roll which was so greasy,it also had a funny musty taste to it.had 2 bites then threw it away.the beef with vegetables was ok,but wouldn't order it again,the gravy it was in wasn't great the beef was really tough.the rice I had was the best.i won't be visiting there again very soon.

My family have been coming to Lee Wong’s for as long as I can remember. We love this place. Best Chinese in Huntingdon area and we happily drive miles to get here to get decent Chinese that is most definitely worth the calories. Would not go anywhere else when in the area. Love having extra crispy sweet and sour chicken and Lee is always so friendly to every customer and knows names and stories of almost everyone who walks through the door.

Lee himself is very friendly and always takes the time to chat, and the food is always piping hot and delicious. I regularly use Lee Wong takeaway. I always have beef curry and my wife has chicken curry. Always plenty of meat, well cooked and not too much onions and gravy which tends to happen often at other places. I always phone the orders through and they are ready for when I get there and I usually get a couple of cookies to go with them

Unfortunately revolting. Two curries thick gloopy gravy with too much salt. Won't return.

Our local in Brampton had shut and there were always good words being said about Lee Wongs. The exterior might be a bit off putting but the duck is lovely, chow mein delicious and they even did dumplings for us even though they aren't on the menu. Fantastic food, perfect for a lazy Friday night.

We started going back to Lee Wong's last year after our preferred take-away closed down. The food here is on the whole good, although sometimes it can be decidedly average. Sunday night is usually when the food is hit and miss. The prices are on a par with the competition and you can always park in the car-park behind the premises.Would recommend, but be wary that you may pick an average night.

My local Chinese. Been going for 20 years. Never fails. Crispy beef is like no other but it's the portion sizes for me..... they're whopping.

Had been slightly reluctant to try here as the exterior looks rather shabby, but friends had said that they always had had good meals without exception so thought I would try. Phoned to place my order and surprised to be asked when did I want it to be ready for. I said as soon as possible and told 20 minutes. Arrived in time and they were still cooking my food...so obviously very fresh. I had koon po king prawn which was very tasty and my friend had capital spare ribs and chicken fried rice. He declared the ribs to be the best he had eaten. The portions are extremely generous. Non of the food was greasy in the slightest and I will not hesitate in having food here again

Hemos usado Lee Wong por un número de años, aunque se han mudado lejos de Huntingdon aún hacer el viaje cuando nos apetece comida china. Después de probar un número bastante importante de llevar chino en Cambridgeshire, nos instalamos en Lee Wong y ahora no vayas a ningún otro sitio. Teléfono y pedir que, reconocen que estamos y saber lo que le pides, siempre estará listo en 20 minutos, aunque a veces ocupado un poco más y siempre es deliciosa.

No puedo creer que la gente creo que esta es la mejor comida para llevar china en Huntingdon. Me recomendaron este lugar por alguien hace un tiempo y haber visto el exterior siempre había sido puesto. Nos apetecía un chino recientemente y pensamos probar, gran error! La comida era fácilmente una de las peores que hemos tenido comprada, grasienta, mala calidad satisfacer y francamente no muy apetecible. Yo comer casi la mitad de la mía, pero era un caso de comer porque me había pagado en vez de disfrutar. El resto de la comida para llevar en la papelera, fuimos tienen absolutamente ninguna intención de ir cerca del lugar de nuevo.
