The best restaurants serving British food in Caerphilly South Wales

Went as a friend was holding a party and only disappointment we had is that we live locally and had not been before. Really enjoyed the food and service was great. I really recommend a visit and look forward to returning. Thanks for a great visit.

I had my wedding reception here. The staff were amazing, they set up the tables perfectly. The food was cooked on site and it was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were very accommodating.

Es un restaurante bien presentado. Es precioso por dentro y la comida estaba riquísima y a un precio razonable. El personal era muy amable y acogedor. Nunca tuvimos la oportunidad de probar un flan pero no cabe duda de que volveremos en nuestra próxima visita!!

We have had a few breakfasts from this establishment and each time we have not been disappointed. Hot and delicious and freshly cooked. Staff are friendly and facilities are clean. Selection of take away cakes are good also. Well recommended for meeting up with friends for a chat and coffee.

Booked for my 78 th birthday and a friend's 94 th .The young students were outstanding, the food and service were excellent.Enjoyed every minute.

Best people ever! The night was filled with live music, impromptu jams, kind people and community. Along with tales of folklore!

Absolutely beautiful breakfast, I had French toast, warm berries, cream and maple syrup. Friends all had different breakfasts Eggs Benedict, full cooked and beans on toast and we were very happy with our food! Very friendly staff relaxed atmosphere and very clean would definitely recommend it you won’t be disappointed.

Four of us went for my birthday, weather wise not the best but sat by the window and really enjoyed ourselves.We all had different meals we got served really quick hot tasty food with lovely chunky chips . all plates were empty returns.We then went for a dessert which was outstanding but everyone filling up and struggling.Warm and cosy definitely go back could have stayed longer but everyone goes home early since COVID.

Used to come here for Sunday lunch all the time. And it was fab They were closed for a while so stopped but went a few weeks ago. Very disappointed. We were seated next to the snooker table. Why when the rest of the place was empty. There was a very small dish of veg to feed four of us. The tureen wasn’t even full. Our plates looked bare as there wasn’t enough to go around. It was 12 noon so it wasn’t as if they were running out. Very poor value for money. I left hungry Will not be going there again.

Cleanliness isn't one of the positives, sticky floors and an odour of urine in the air. Furniture appears very worn and rough. The staff were not very enthusiastic, borderline rude. I would not recommend this place.

First time visit for Sunday lunch. Really poor choice and NO starter which I thought was a bit strange as I personally would rather have a starter than desert. I opted for beef, there was only 3 choices and one of those were vegetarian. The food was lovely and nice to have mashed potato on a dinner for a change. Staff were attentive and very pleasant. Surroundings were lovely.

Writing this for the Rolling Jack which is the restaurant inside the bowls club. Amazing meals & great value for money. Sunday lunches are so good! We’ve attended a show where you get a 2 course meal included for £19.95! Great value & great show which was Lynsey Pugh ! We’re booked in for another show. They currently do a midweek roast on a Thursday & it’s very popular. The fish & chips is really nice & so cheap! Their standards are consistent as never I’ve had a bad meal. Gavin, Adele & the young team of staff work hard & provide great service. It’s so nice to have somewhere local to go to for good food. Thank you!

Wow stunning clean breakfast with fantastic service, I think you would be hard pushed to get a better breakfast anywhere
