Morels Restaurant in Caerphilly

Booked for my 78 th birthday and a friend's 94 th .The young students were outstanding, the food and service were excellent.Enjoyed every minute.

Tried the Greek week menu, perfectly cooked calamari and a beautiful piece of Hake in tomatoe, black olive and caper sauce, divine.

Superb meal yet again! Our waitress was really first class and extremely courteous. It was her assessment day but she really calm and helpful throughout the meal. Looking forward to our visit next month. Well done everyone.

Superb service by Ethan, such a proficient and polite waiter, he executed all adpects of service in a professional manner. The menu and food was delivered to perfection, compliments to the chef. If you want the best, forget the rest and get yourself to Morels Restaurant at Crosskeys Campus.

What`s not to like! Went there for my wife`s birthday along with my Auntie. The restaurant is done out really nice and the staff are super friendly, we had Luke serving us whilst we were there, slightly nervous but 100% focused with what he was doing. We had the French menu and all the food was cooked to perfection, one has to remember these people are students learning a trade so it`s all a learning curve for them. We were asked if was a special meal and i said it was my wife`s birthday and they produced a cake for her at the end of the meal which tasted scrummy to say the least. The lady overseeing the restaurant whom i spoke to at the end was thrilled to know we had a lovely time, you could tell she proud of here staff. Would we return?............you bet we will, great food, friendly staff and 100% value for money. Till the next time.
