Called in for coffee and cake whilst on holiday, enjoyed it so much we booked for lunch a few days later. Food was excellent, fresh and tasty, great menu. Friendly staff and dog friendly. Will be back next time we are in, or near ,Rhuddlan and highly recommend to anyone thinking of a visit.

Visited this cafe in July due to trip advisor ratings. We were not disappointed. I opted for the full breakfast which was freshly cooked and very tasty. The young waitress’s were very polite and the whole dining experience was great

Fantastic little cafe selling home made food in a secluded courtyard. Charming young staff. Delicious treats. Home made quiche. Very reasonably priced. Lemon scone to die for!

The Old Bakery does excellent coffee. There are light snacks and sweets and the service is friendly and warm.

Called on off chance. Bought bread which was OK....normally make my own, but on recommendation thought we try this. Had 2 vanilla slices...found the Pastry dry and not very flaky...vanilla rather synthetic. Can't see what all the fuss is about.

It’s OK. If you’re in the area, then go. However, I wouldn’t travel far to go there.

A change of ownership and as long term customers we wish the new team well - for both their sakes and ours. It's pleasing to report a good start. On a snowy day, we three were the only customers for Sunday lunch. The staff were great and the food pleasing. Two of us had a mixed meat terrine as a starter; one salmon. All enjoyable. Next were two beef and one lamb Sunday lunch. The meat was fine (difficult to serve exact rareness in the circumstances), the roast potatoes crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle, Yorkshire pudding crisp and proportionate, other veggies well cooked, including separate dishes of cauliflower cheese. All of it was enjoyably eaten. One query. I wonder about the wine prices. We had a bottle of pleasant red from the house list. It and others like it all appear to be £40 and change. Mmm. Might need to look at that again we think. We'll be going again though!

We visited on our way back from Llangollen. We were shown to a table and given menus straight away . The food for all four of us was superb, plentiful and hot. The young lady looking after us was extremely sociable and friendly; a real credit to any business in my opinion. Would recommend unreservedly.
