Lovely country pub great staff fantastic beer and food great value all around! Worth a detour and a highly recommended community pub.

Had a really nice traditional Sunday Lunch, good fresh veg, also GF available. Service good too Would definitely eat here again.

A party of 17 of us went for a lovely Sunday Lunch, couldn’t fault the food or the service and all at a very reasonable price ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

After breaking down in a local lay-by with two infants we stopped in while the RAC worked on our car. We had some delicious and very reasonably priced small plates/sides. The staff made us feel very at home. One of the ladies (long blue dress) provided the children with colouring books and crayons as she noticed they were getting a little restless. The locals are super friendly too. Just a beautiful little place. We will definitely be returning when visiting the area again.

Whilst on a road trip in our sports cars we stopped here for lunch. One of the guys was not keen as it was nearly empty. However, he was overuled and we all had a superb Sunday lunch choosing 5 of the main courses between us. Hope to return on our next road trip. It is a community pub/restaurant with an adjoing shop where we bought BBQ food for later. Also highly recommended.

Excellent food, and presentation. First class products. The Welsh beef dinner was succulent and tasty. Don’t be fooled by outside appearance, this is a hidden gem. Service was friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend. We were four hours into our journey and this was a fantastic find.

Had the festive menu. Three courses for £25. Very well cooked. The staff were very attentive and made you feel very welcome.

It’s our third time at the GlanLlyn and again a wonderful experience, the quality of the food is great, beautifully cooked and served on time and without errors in a group of 11 adults and 13 kids. The staff is professional, efficient and very friendly. Thank you so much. Diolch yn fawr iawn :-)

Visited here for food this evening for the first time. Steak pie was delicious as was the brownie. The chefs clearly work hard on the ingredients as the food was spot on, fresh and service was speedy. Friendly, helpful staff that clearly value the community and events that this pub has in store for the locality. Cosey atmosphere outdoors with lovely garden area, would defo recommend.

Visited for the first time after seeing online a new pizza oven and outdoor area set up. Went for launch night on Saturday, sunshine, pizza and a DJ . Love a good pizza and was keen to try here! Did not disappoint! New chefs are great and considering it was the launch there were no delays and we all had great pizza. Keen to go back and try the pub menu and go back for the fresh pizza!

Our family of five visited last Saturday and had a great time. The outside area is really pleasant, it was lovely to sit out in the sunshine and the atmosphere was great, really family friendly. We ordered three different types of pizza and all were gorgeous, in fact we ordered a fourth because our kids wanted more. Everything arrived very quickly and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed my night at The Glan Llyn with friends for the pizza opening night. It’s a pub I’ve not thought of visiting before however absolutely loved their new modern beer garden, benches and Pizza Hut with a wood fired pizza oven. Ordered the goats cheese pizza with their home made pesto and it was so delicious. A very laid back place where the staff were smiling, friendly and welcoming. Love the new initiative that will get many more people in the door! Thanks to the Glan Llyn staff for transforming the place and offering home made pizza to the area which was desperately needed! Can’t wait to go back!

Horrendous service at the Glan Llyn since the arrival of the 3 muskaters, aka new chefs who seem to drink more than they serve.It's all very well trying to bring in new initiatives to the pub and advertising across social media but clearly they dont have the organisation or capacity to actually deliver. This is not the first time the food has been pulled half way through service and it's quite simply not good enough. We are at the glan llyn numerous times a month it's our local; and not only now have the prices increased but the service and food has suffered and it's now all about bringing in new and younger clientele at the cost of the locals who have kept this place going for years. This place used to survive on one chef; theres now three and it's gone to pot. The head barman who is an absolute credit to the place is even leaving. It's a mess. What a Shame. A local pub totally forgotten who keeps it alive; the regulars and the local community. Give this place a miss.

It is great to see county pubs taking up the Eat out to help out option, and the Glan Llyn is doing it perfectly. 3 courses normally £20 is now £10. Absolutely great. Menu has 4 options for each course. Food was tasty and very well presented. Staff are polite and helpful. Highly recommended even at £20 for a 3 course menu I would recommend you try this out.

Went for the “Eat Out Help Out” tonight for an evening meal. Waw - LOVELY 3 course meal for only £10!!!! Exceptionally good value - and the food itself was excellent!! Couldn’t fault it.!!! All the staff were pleasant - even though they were very very busy. . We go there very often for Sunday lunch - and again lovely meat and all the “trimmings”. So “win-win” all round!!! Highly recommended.

We love the Glan Llyn Inn!!! The ultimate village pub, with a friendly welcome, great selection of drinks, local Gins, guest ales and fantastic freshly cooked food. Specials are changed regularly and are always beautiful; the food is always delicious. Events are also regularly held here and all are made very welcome. Sunday carvery is a must; as is the big breakfasts on a Saturday morning! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Fantastic meal at realistic prices. Well cooked food served promptly and politely by attentive staff. Great seafood starter followed by surf n turf with steak cooked exactly the way I asked for. Terrific

Visited Friday 5th July 2019 with friends who live in the village and what a wonderful night we had.The food was excellent and the drink could not have been better, oh and the price, don’t tell anyone but the prices of the beers wines & spirits were very affordable. Add to that the staff who were very accommodating what more do you want from a local.Will be calling in there again next time I’m visiting our friends in the village and recommend that anyone living there or passing calls in to this very local local. Well done the community for making this place so appealing.

Food was lovely very friendly staff also there is an adjoining shop which would serve you if needed went there once on a bank Holliday but they stopped serving at 7 which was very disappointing

We visited family members who are part of this cute community pub. They called ahead and asked if the kitchen could cater for vegans and we were presented with various options before we went. The food was excellent - stuffed butternut squash followed by a tangy and fruit sorbet - really tasty and not the bog-standard vegan option so many places offer. Can't wait to come back soon and try more food!

We were meeting friends, so booked for a table of 4. No problem, warmly greeted and seated. Great menu choice. Ordered starters and mains, absolutely gorgeous and well presented. Sweets exactly the same. There were 4 other diners and 2 others called in all evening since we arrived at 7.00pm.Where was everybody? Maybe it was a quiet night but its their loss. The Chef, Caroline, is excellent. Bar service, from lads behind the Bar, is always very good and prices are middle of the road. Had heard a lot about the Glyn , for Sunday Carvary , to me a cavary is meat on plate ,help yourself to rest , here noo all was served on plate by a staff member ,only 3 veg including potatoes , was very nicely cooked but expected more

Called in on the off chance. Table for 2 no problem. Mexican Chicken Fajitas and Fish Pie. Both great dishes. Thanks Caroline Too full for Puddings, what a shame. A great pub and well worth a visit

We came on the one night a month that a local medieval band comes to practice. It was rather pleasing to the ear listening to traditional C16th musical instruments playing ancient celtic songs whilst supping beer and playing pool.

We stayed at the Old Rectory and was recommended by the B&B owners. Very pleasant surprise! Fresh, tasty food and cold beers. Definitely recommend!

I am a local to this pub and enjoy coming in on a weekly basis for a few drinks, and the food is fantastic, too. Always feel welcome whenever i come in! Great choice of ales, and they serve wrexham lager too.

We had our Golden Wedding Celebrations here,for 50 people,on the 14th October 2017. It was absolutely brilliant!!! The staff made us very welcome and couldn't do enough to help us. All our family and friends really enjoyed themselves and everybody said , how amazing the food was. We would like to say a big Thank You to everyone involved in making our day so special. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

We live locally and are really pleased with the quality of the food and service. It is refreshing that food is cooked fresh and they employ young people from the community. Book otherwise you may be disappointed as it can get busy...

Lovely local pub which is a great place to stop! The food is excellent with a new menu all the time. The Sunday carvery is to die for!

We attended a fund raising Sunday lunch event. Food excellent with a choice of meats. If you are looking for somewhere for a home cooked Sunday lunch with home made puds then this is the place to go. Hope to visit again soon but have been warned to book.

We live locally and booked a table for 7.00pm. On arrival, we were advised of a large party so there would be a delay with the food. No Problem.

We arrived at the 18.30 as a party of 9 and told we would be seated within an hour, after receiving our dinner at 21.45 we had to send a steak back for being medium rare when we ordered a medium well done. We then heard the chef talking with a bad attitude about our party claiming we had already caused enough trouble when in fact they told us we would be seated rather than turn us away as we would of happily got a takeaway! After telling the staff that we heard the chef behaving in this way the chef then reacted by coming out of the kitchen to further antagonise the party stating there is no way they are not paying for that steak, when we had never mentioned not paying for anything! Really bad attitude from the staff especially the chef and waitresses!! Really poor experience and it ruined my entire evening!!!

Visit by chance on way home The food was amazing and homemade meringue in the pavlova ... Need i say more
