A great place to stay if you're visiting North Wales and riding/ driving the Dragon Loop. Situated about 3 miles from Betws e Coed. Very clean rooms that were newly refurbished. Cheeful friendly staff and a great bar to chill out in with some friendly banter from the locals too. Parking for bikes and cars outside off the road. Will definitely go back.

Loved this place.... until I saw the foie gras pics here. What the hell like, it's 2024, read the room. No one wants a side order of unnecessarily barbaric, tortured bird...well i guess sadly some of you do...but you're certainly in the minority leaving the rest of us aghast. Do better. We're better than that.

My partner and I came upon the hotel/bar whilst travelling through Betws-Y-Coed and needed a place to wait while we charged our car. Upon entering we were welcomed by the hotel's reception staff and the customer service from the bar was also very good. As we only stayed for 30 minutes, I can't give an in-depth review but everything seemed good enough for a quick drop-in drink.

Popped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday with our dog. Bit of a strange layout in the bar with formal seating mixed with a large children's play area. There was only one other couple in so also very quiet. We ordered two chicken caesar salads described as coming with herby croutons and boiled egg, what we got was 2 garlic chicken salads with cucumber, peppers, tomatoes, onion etc in a honey mustard dressing. They were very nice but bore absolutely no resemblance to caesar salads and no explanation as to why the difference. At £7.95 each we were happy with what we got but we wouldn't return because of the lack of choice on the menu and the random decor.

We often call in to the bar post-walk for refreshments. However, no tea available and the price of one black coffee, blackcurrant cordial and two packets of crisps was £10.50...this seemed at bit pricey to me so we, unfortunately, after visiting for years, won't be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious, locally sourced ingredients . We loved the duck starter dish, recommended by Michelle. It was so tasty! The Welsh lamb we had for our mains was also an excellent choice. Great food and excellent service!
