Another delicious lunch at this gem of a restaurant situated in the stunning Brecon Beacons. A lovely warm welcome as usual from Katie & the girls . The Marry me chicken cooked in a sun dried tomato , paprika & oregano sauce was exquiste & the Scampi was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the talented Chef Wilden. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Stayed with my daughter for a couple of nights before the school term restarts. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet with a gorgeous view of the Welsh countryside. Breakfast was lovely and filling. A real shame they don't do evening meals as it meant we ended up with takeaways in the car as I wasn't sure if we'd be allowed to bring in hot food. That aside, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.

My partner and I popped in for something to eat but they weren't serving food unfortunately, had a lovely cup of tea though to enjoy the absolutely stunning views!! We'll be returning very soon to hopefully enjoy something to eat and experience the lovely atmosphere again! If your after amazing scenery and out of the way charm, this is the place to go!

We held my daughter's 21st birthday party at The Cross Keys at the beginning of October 24. The venue is fantastic. We had a DJ in the main building, the dance floor was great and there was bags of atmosphere. The garden and yurt are beautiful and looked magical lit up. Shan and Darren were fabulous hosts and helped with setting up. The night was a great success. I would highly recommend booking this venue.

Lovely convenient place to stop for lunch enroute for North Wales. Discovered this little gem by chance and we are so glad we did. Tasty fresh food reasonably priced. Friendly staff who keep the premises clean and welcoming. better We visit several times a year since finding it about three years ago. Do not pass it looking for better. You will pay at least double and not eat so well.

Travelling to Lake Vyrnwy and stopped at the cafe sign for a mid morning break on the journey. Fabulous well cooked fry up and friendly service at a very good price. I’d definitely drive 100 miles again for the food.

Under new owner's October 2024...what a lovely atmosphere on a damp autumn evening, fire blazing,Rhys and Claire made it so welcoming... proper traditional pub, dart board, pool table and a chess board set up for customers to chill with a drink with and off road parking behind the pub. Really cosy pub with a warm atmosphere....would recommend and will be returning 👏👏👏👏❤️

I went to LT dining hall today (for the first time) for the Sunday carvery and what a wonderful surprise. There were different roast meats to choose from as well as a vegetarian option. The meat was served by the staff at the counter, but from there on it was self service - roast potatoes, roast parsnips, boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, cabbage, carrots, garden peas, mushy peas, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding. Then over to the self service condiments section, mint sauce, apple sauce, cranberry sauce, horseradish sauce and gravy. For all of £7.95 - amazing. There were also dessert options, but I had no room left. My Mum however had the bread and butter pudding. She came back with something in a bowl the size of a small fridge, it was huge! The cream that went with it was self service too. I will definitely be back. I think next time I may get a dessert to take away, as 10 hours later I'm beginning to feel peckish.

We went to Brecon Golf Club for Father’s Day and it was lovely. They had a dads eat free special. Our food came almost instantly and the Sunday dinner had all you expected. The desserts were large and tasted great. We could easily get our pushchair in and the chairs were very comfortable for a nursing mother. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
