What a hidden gem - if you like fish it is a must visit spot! Staff lovely and friendly, could not do enough. Food five star taste, quality and portion size generous. Good value, lovely views. Clean and tidy and right next to the car park! Tables inside and out. Would highly recommend.

Spectacular Sunday lunch, so much food (plenty for hungry teenagers) and all of it delicious. We were celebrating Easter Sunday and this certainly was a feast. Veg of many different varieties, served ‘en famille’ , felt like we were eating at a family home enjoying Sunday roast. Neil, made us feel very welcome and Sarah cooked up a storm. The pudding was also epic, huge jugs of custard with sticky toffee pudding. You’ll need to book ahead, the tables were all full at this friendly and relaxed (+ dog friendly) pub.

Excellent pub, very friendly, and free pool! The art is lovely and the locals are happy to help and chat.

We were staying in Hay and Drover offer the only charger for electric vehicles in the town (and it's free). They were generous with their suggestions of using it overnight. They sell maps for local road and MTB rides too, so after we'd been out on one, we stopped by for a coffee and cake. They sell energy bars and gels too, if you're stocking up before or during a ride. A very friendly team!

Absolutely first class welcome and service. The food was excellent and very good value. Harvey, our dog, was made welcome and given his own portion from the chef. Fabulous!

A lovely take away and cafe,in a fascinating old building We stopped here for coffee and a cake on our journey. Delicious cakes and excellent coffee. Faultless friendly service, fast and efficient. All the locals come here for their bread and lunchtime food. ! We thought it was brilliant!

Fabulous Sunday lunch with very generous portions. The cauliflower cheese and red cabbage were excellent table additions and all in very reasonably priced. Prompt and friendly service. We were too stuffed to have puddings though they also looked delicious. We will be back.

Excellent. Booked a meal for a sunday and had the starter, which was tomato and red onion soup, which was amazing, followed by roast beef dinner, which was also amazing. Can't fault it at all. Reasonably priced, lovely service, friendly staff, and the food was spot on. So yes, I definitely recommend this, and they really deserve praise. Book early, though, as they are very busy to guarantee a table and time.
