We went to Brecon Golf Club for Father’s Day and it was lovely. They had a dads eat free special. Our food came almost instantly and the Sunday dinner had all you expected. The desserts were large and tasted great. We could easily get our pushchair in and the chairs were very comfortable for a nursing mother. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My mother and myself visited Brecon Golf Club for Sunday Lunch. It was very good service and excellent value for money. Very friendly staff, Michelle (one of the W managers) was very willing to take the time to chat with us. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

I've had Sunday lunch at several venues in Brecon. This one wins hands up. Excellent food and fabulous service. Sunday lunch just like Mum used to make. Probably the most affordable bar in Brecon too. Hidden off the main road as you enter Brecon, this is a hidden gem that probably wont remain a secret for long. Quietly placed and the perfect stop over for visitors and locals alike. Definitely earned a place on the bucket list. Dont miss it!

This morning we went to Brecon Golf Clubs 19th Hole Restaurant for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the food was so fresh, cooked to order and stonkingly good. Will definitely be back again for more. Can not recommend highly enough.

We were staying in Hay and Drover offer the only charger for electric vehicles in the town (and it's free). They were generous with their suggestions of using it overnight. They sell maps for local road and MTB rides too, so after we'd been out on one, we stopped by for a coffee and cake. They sell energy bars and gels too, if you're stocking up before or during a ride. A very friendly team!

Lovely local server. I had the vegetarian curry, which was (surprisingly) brilliant! Homemade, and tasted fresh and well-balanced spices- unusual for a vegetarian meal. Husband had ham, egg and chips. Chips were crispy, and ham was a generous portion, tasty and thick-cut. 😋 2 slices of ham, and 2 eggs. Great 👍

Stayed with my daughter for a couple of nights before the school term restarts. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet with a gorgeous view of the Welsh countryside. Breakfast was lovely and filling. A real shame they don't do evening meals as it meant we ended up with takeaways in the car as I wasn't sure if we'd be allowed to bring in hot food. That aside, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.
