Corrie tea room and golf course are perfect examples of Arran at its best….full of character and welcoming. We had an excellent lunch of sandwiches and delicious soup, with great friendly service. Just what we wanted ahead of playing the wonderful golf course. Would thoroughly recommend.

After reading excellent reviews of this place we decided to try it for coffee and cake on the Saturday which were excellent so we booked for Sunday lunch. We both had an excellent cream of mushroom soup accompanied by a lovely roll. My wife had a superb macaroni cheese with hand cut chips and salad. I had a great lasagne and garlic bread. Excellent staff and the sea view whilst having lunch was great. Definitely a worthy of a return visit.

Great lunch spot, fab team of polite, cheerful and energetic staff - Megan and Annie in particular are superb. Menu seems more limited on some days than other for no apparent reason but everything produced is good quality, tasty and reasonable portion sizes. Always feel it could do with more tables than it has!

Stopped in whilst out cycling for a coffee and cake. This was the perfect place with seating indoors or out, bike stands for the cyclists and water bowls out for the dog walkers. A great community resource that encourages people to enjoy the outdoors. Friendly, welcoming staff that created a lovely atmosphere to sit and enjoy our refreshments. We tried the coffee and the gluten free chocolate crispy cake… the coffee was as good as I’ve tasted in other coffee shops and the cake was fantastic. We’ll certainly be stopping in again whilst cycling down this stretch of the coast.

Base at Irvine Cross, is well situated for the casual diner, Menu is not extensive but covers all tastes. Met up with the family for Brunch and all were happy with their choices of food. portions reasonable and all freshly made. Very friendly Staff and happy to assist with any questions and seemed to know their regulars and was a very popular place for drop-ins and take aways. Limited space and quite narrow but very clean. Well worth a visit and you want a snack or a quick bite or take away.

Ordered the peppercorn chicken with stornoway black pudding… originally wanted to order a large and asked the difference and was told the small is still the same chicken breast, etc just less veg and would be sufficient… upon arrival it was the inner fillet only, not stuffed and battered out… asked Anthony and he said he wasn’t responsible for the kitchen and I asked who and he couldn’t answer but he would pass it on… I was gobsmacked… it was genuinely only a third of a breast… he respond with it was still part of the breast… I said it’s not right advertising
