Stopped in whilst out cycling for a coffee and cake. This was the perfect place with seating indoors or out, bike stands for the cyclists and water bowls out for the dog walkers. A great community resource that encourages people to enjoy the outdoors. Friendly, welcoming staff that created a lovely atmosphere to sit and enjoy our refreshments. We tried the coffee and the gluten free chocolate crispy cake… the coffee was as good as I’ve tasted in other coffee shops and the cake was fantastic. We’ll certainly be stopping in again whilst cycling down this stretch of the coast.

Just the spot for a coffee and cake, had seen this wee place for a while and decided to stop on our walk. It's ideally located a 2 min walk to the beach. Just what Stevenston needed. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Home made soup was delicious. They had a good selection of cakes and the rest of the menu looked good. It's a beach cafe with food and prices to match. Lovely and clean. Will be back soon.

It was a lovely morning, sat outside and had the WORST cup of black coffee ever - £2.60 for dishwater! Just left it on the table. Wont be back ... what a shame.

Surprised and delighted to find a cafe here, just what all the walkers and cyclists want. A good car park and outside seating if you want. A friendly greeting and a good easy to follow menu with fair prices. You are served at your table and they have plenty of home baking and treats for the dogs. Useful local information board and a popular place with plenty of banter.

We stopped here after walking our dogs along the beach. It's always fairly busy and the coffee machine wasn't working, so we had a long wait. The staff were friendly and the cakes were lovely, definitely a welcome addition to the area!

A peaceful spot close the beach and easily accessible with parking and just a few minutes walk from the train station, I have been down a few times and enjoyed coffee and a quick bite. the staff are friendly, the overall atmosphere is welcoming with a good range of options to pick from if you want to eat. I tend to sit outside (when the weather suits) and enjoy the air. being dog friendly it is a hot spot for local dog walkers and has become the place to be seen and relax.

Passed this a few times on way to sit & look out at the sea views. Had rolls & slice & tray bake & coffee's. Decent quality sausage cooked fresh as you wait. Staff all lovely & friendly. You can sit outside on a nice day ,but watch out for the seagulls. We have been 4 times now. Once sitting in ,once at tables outside & twice bought takeaway to sit in car . Prices are what you would expect. Used by lots of people out walking. It is dog friendly. Hope it continues to thrive.

While visiting the beach down here for the first time, we came across the cafe. Apparently it is very new and run as a form of community project for the benefit of the community. It is first class. Friendly helpful staff, good choice of cafe style food and very very clean. Good value for money. We will definitely come back. Its dog friendly and accessible by bike. Give it try!

The staff were friendly.we thought the rooms were a bit dated.we got quoted £143 for bed & breakfast & got charged £145.there wasn't a bar area to sit & chill & no t.v.we got offered a dining area to sit with our drinks with a nice view but wasn't that comfortable.the breakfast was first class.it was OK for the night but I don't think it's worth £143/145.on my opinion

Popped in for some food today , not expecting more than average pub grub. Got that wrong, my burger was excellent and my partner thought her prawn tempura and loaded potato skins were outstanding. Staff were attentive and polite. Will definitely be back next time we are in Irvine.
