This cafe has changed its name to Bagel Society and it is really good. The food is superb, I would recommend the El Diablo bagel. The service is good. The prices are reasonable, we were £14 for two bagels. I can’t wait to come back again soon.

Had a Valentines dinner with my wife there. Great service & fantastic food, served fast & really hot. Very high quality.

Lovely hidden gem just off west end of Union Street. Great Scottish food options which is rare to find in the city. Food quality is excellent. I opted for three courses and all three were delicious. Can highly recommend this place for food.

Absolutely Fantastic Coffee shop the staff are amazing always with a warm friendly service. Great choice for lunch and the coffee is always excellent.

Ordered American & full Scottish breakfast both yummy & enough to feed 3 people 🙂

Only seats left was beside the entrance to the toilets. Absolutely disgusting smell coming from them. Smelt like never been cleaned in a week! Will never go back. Not a nice experience.

Salió en un almuerzo rápido. Pedí dos almuerzos express (sopa y sándwich servidos con ensalada, col y papas fritas. ¡Qué impresionado! La sopa de lentejas estaba deliciosa y los bocadillos muy frescos con un montón de relleno. Un almuerzo sustancial y sabroso por menos de £ 13 para dos personas junto con un gran servicio - no puede equivocarse.

It’s always subway union street who get orders wrong and I’m not sure why, maybe yous have all given up trying?? We used to always order from subway but stopped as it’s really a luck of the draw if you get what you ordered. It’s fine if you go to the store as you’re able to watch them make it but when you order from them on deliveroo it’s like they don’t care and maybe only prioritise in store orders. We decided to give them a go again as maybe we will be lucky this time as it had been months since we last ordered from there but yeah they haven’t changed a bit! Previously they get stuff like the sauce and salad wrong which is annoying but nothing major, this time they forgot the main part of my sub which was the veggie patty. They got my partner’s order right but when it came to mine they forgot the veggie patty in my veggie patty sub and it was stone cold when I asked for it to be toasted. So all I got was cold bread with salad and sauce….. I got a refund from deliveroo luckily but you all really need to be more attentive to orders, I get it may have been busy, I’ve worked in customer service before as well so understand the environment completely. But it’s not good enough! Won’t be ordering from this store again.

Esto no es un bistro. Este es un restaurante de hotel completamente desalmado. Estábamos comiendo solos en un momento, un sábado por la noche. Las sillas están tan mal diseñadas que no pude mover las mías más cerca de la mesa. La porción de paté de hígado de pollo fue muy generosa, pero solo había 5 mini tortas de avena. Eso necesita repensarse. Elegí la sopa y pregunté si podría ser vegetariana porque el menú decía que hay opciones vegetarianas, veganas y sin gluten disponibles. Me dijeron que en realidad no estaban disponibles. Vale la pena intentarlo, supongo. . . El rebozado del pescado era marrón oscuro y duro, lo que sugiere una cocción excesiva o aceite que necesitaba ser cambiado. Los guisantes blandos eran guisantes enteros. Las papas fritas estaban bastante oscuras y solo se mezclaban por dentro. Eran REALMENTE malos. Ese plato no debería haber salido de la cocina. Mi compañero estaba tan decepcionado que el chef lo consideró aceptable que no podía molestarse en quejarse. La cantidad de comida que queda en su plato al final de nuestra comida debería haber dado una pista. . . Mi plato de espagueti con crema y muy pocos hongos estaba bien. El camarero fue atento y agradable. Si, al participar en el esquema de Itison, el equipo de administración espera atraer a los comensales y alentarlos a regresar, realmente necesitan mejorar su juego. Esa no fue una experiencia culinaria agradable. Lejos de ahi.
