Really nice cafe within walking distance of ARI & Roxburghe House. Nice selection of food and decent prices. Staff friendly.

Had a cheese toastie, was good but a good bit greasy. Shop was not very clean.

ARGH I LOVE IT! It's just the best place in Aberdeen for food. This burger is reasonably priced, it's also huge, and delicious. Nice paninis. Awesome jacket potatoes. I even like the boiled eggs you can order... It's a testament to good value, so I always order here. I Ignore the food chains due to places like this existing; just enjoy good local business and support your area, not corporation stockholders!

Walked in whilst cold and a bit miserable whilst trying to kill time before returning to the hospital. Asked for a coffee, didn’t know if it was just takeaway but was asked if I wanted to sit down and if a latte was ok. The latte was most definitely ok. It was warming, very enjoyable and made me feel a bit brighter. The staff were pleasant and the cost of the coffee was a darn sight more reasonable than many places.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday staff very friendly lovely hot food pity the door stood open as it was cold

If youre vegetarian I totally recommend this place! We ordered the veggie breakfast and it was so good, the food arrived all hot and the portion is so big, could have done 2 people each portion with lots of veggie haggis! Speedy delivery, everything arrived in half an hour! Definitely ordering from them again

Fantastic place to eat. The service was quick and the staff were very polite and friendly. I sat in for food and the seating area was very clean and tidy with a great atmosphere. I had the chicken curry with naan. It was a perfect portion size and very filling. I would recommend coming here to try the food. I will be back when I am in the area again.

Handy little place for a snack, lunch or breakfast. I had a big bowl of yummy chicken soup and a coffee. Both great

Went at the tail end of lunchtime and it was a bit chaotic. Was not stupendously busy but took a while to sort everything. I ordered a baguette and received a panini but it took quite a while so I ate it as I was on a tight schedule due to lunch break. Fairly expensive for what it was. The staff were friendly but a little disorganised.

Tried chicken tikka panini and Chicken curry rice.All served piping hot in no time with generous amount of melted cheese in Panini.Chicken curry rice combo was amazing with great portions.Certainly will visit again.Hats off team Granmas…

Utter crap. Wouldn't feed this to a dog!! Mac and cheese doesn't consist of macaroni covered in cheese. Prime doesn't cost £4.99 Wear a mask next time.

All fantastic, great sausage softie my second visit I stupidly fell and hit my head on a chair, the staff were extremely good and worried about me, I still managed to eat one of their lovely bacon rolls and cappachino, even gave me ice for the bump on my head 😊 All my own doing not a bad word to say about this place and hopefully on my next visit I won't hurt myself 😂 😂

This used to be a fantastic little café but not anymore. The cosy atmosphere is gone, with nothing but empty space and a few cans of cold drinks along the wall as you enter. There was barely anyone there when I went (lunchtime) No greeting from the member of staff, just him shouting 'Customer' to someone in the back shop. It was all so off-putting I grabbed a menu and just ordered the first thing that jumped out at me (a fajita wrap) It turned out to be dripping with oil and not pleasant to eat at all. I used to love this place. It was a nice treat and always busy but I won't be back. Pay attention to the dates of the positive reviews on here.

Full scottish breakfast was good, although i would have liked some potato scones as it is a "scottish" breakfast, blt sandwhich was great and fresh. Pretty reasonably priced aswell and in a nice wee location

Lovely food ordered via JustEat. Ordered a cheese and onion sandwich and the chicken bacon baguette. Just lovely and filling. Would recommend 👍

The cappuccino was terrible, the coffee as well. The mugs were dirty with spilled coffee and the milk was hot boiling. Rancid taste!!!

Absolutely amazing food. I often order breakfast for 2 or lunch and I’m never disappointed. Amazing prices for such large portions of food. The staff is amazingly friendly, cannot recommend this enough! My go-to restaurant for takeaways, especially breakfast.

We were visiting from Inverness & found this great wee cafe. The food was really good & service was great.

Not reading orders Instead of scramble eggs getting fried egg wrong amount of sausages and black puddings when you pay for extra you won't get it, not recommended.wont order there ever again. It's my man birthday wanted breakfast thanks granny you made it awful.

We decided to visit to eat something else than a hospital meal and that was all nice! Staff was great, soup, baguettes, fillings, icecreams, just perfect, very friendly place, definitely will go back again!

He comido aquí en 3 ocasiones y la comida siempre ha sido de un alto nivel. El café es muy limpio, recientemente renovado y el personal es amable. Recomendaría la tostada que viene con una pequeña porción de sopa, una muy buena idea. Vienen con una generosa porción de patatas fritas, ensalada y ensalada de col.

Lovely wee place just beside the hospital, friendly staff. Coffee is great cakes look amazing but it being January unfortunately I'm on a diet . Recommended , I will be back .

I go here fairly regularly for lunch while at work & the staff are always friendly. Cakes are a highlight but the selection of sandwiches, toasties, panini & specials is fab. It’s also a nice place to sit in & have lunch if you can get a table.

Ordered a coronation chicken wrap...I don't know where you got the recipe for the coronation chicken, but you need to think about changing it. It doesn't even really taste like what it's supposed to, I think there is maybe too much wholegrain mustard... it's too watery and not unctuous as it should be...very disappointed... same for the chicken, poor quality and tastes watery and tasteless... Oh and my colleague who had the same...found a hair in one half of her wrap...

Lovely, delicious panini & homebakes. A wee bit more than the hospital shop but a million times better quality. Would definitely recommend!

I had simply stepped outside from work for a walk and was heading back when I saw a poster advertising this cafe. I decided to go in for a coffee and cake. It was 2.20pm and it closes at 3pm, so they were cleaning up already, so I'm not sure I felt entirely welcome. However I enjoyed my coffee and cupcake, which came to a total of £4, and that's fairly average. There was a good choice of scones, cakes and traybakes. I can't comment on the lunch options, although there seemed to be soup and sandwiches on the menu. With the canteen in the hospital closed, I imagine this place would be quite popular at lunch time.

Fine food but the lunch options are overpriced. Disappointing... Other than due to the lack of options in the area I would certainly recommend it.

Excellent sandwiches . Even made a chilli chicken wrap that was not on the menu . Great for hospital workers as canteen in AMH closed and the WRVS can have long queues . Quick service , reasonable prices.

Regular visitor from ARI. Always a pleasure to have food at this place. There is a limited choice within hospital and I prefer to get out of work for my lunch time like many of us.

No hay muchos lugares para comer/café si trabaja en Ari pero esta es una visita obligada si no, yo ciertamente pueden estar haciendo esto una cosa semanal.

Metimos en un almuerzo ligero. Hay una gran variedad de sándwiches, wraps, sándwiches tostados, además de una sopa del día, platos principales diarios especial y muchos de sus deliciosos cocas de casa. Optamos por un pollo y queso tostado panini. Fue perfecto, abundantes era deliciosa y fresca acompañada con ensalada y el mejor col que he probado en mi vida. Mi hija tenía un chocolate caliente y tuve un capuchino, nuevo deliciosa! Un pequeño lugar fabuloso sin duda vale la pena una visita ya sea para un desayuno caliente, comida ligera, o simplemente un café y deliciosos pasteles. Casa-cocina y hogar de elaborar encantador con personal atento y amable sin duda visitar regularĺy

Hola, he comido aquí muchas veces los sandwiches y ensaladas son siempre fresco y sabroso. Todo está hecho desde cero. Llevar un delicioso café una auténtica delicia, no me puedo quejar del personal o la comida aquí. He tenido servicio de mesa un par de veces, pero no hay muchas mesas así que a veces es mejor llamar y preguntar si uno gratis. preciosa casa para hornear demasiado, no me puedo quejar en absoluto, también tienen comida ofertas que realmente buena relación calidad-precio comparado con hospital shop lleno cosas! Volveré.

Después de que la izquierda corta para nuestro pastel de boda. Nos salvó el equipo de cocina granmas que nos dio un pastel de bodas para un muy buen precio a corto plazo. Gracias chicos. El pastel era delicioso también la comida en el café es muy bueno también.

Great to have a locally run kitchen providing lovely breakfasts, simple but tasty lunches (both takeaway and sit-in) which are always freshly made. But the best of all is the delicious home baking. Certainly with avoiding hospital canteen food and taking yourself over to this café on Cornhill road instead, run by a really pleasant lady.

This little gem is a must for lunch if you work at ARI. Lovely sandwiches, paninis, wraps, soup and great cakes. Staff always very helpful. Only a few tables so need to book but can always take away.
