Always good food, good drink, great atmosphere, and wonderful host and hostess. Susan, Tony and all the staff provide a welcoming place to gather in the village. They open their rooms for small business/social groups to meet. They are always ready to pitch in and help support local and national charities through onsite and offsite events. They are a valued gem in our community. My Wife is from Texas and she agrees, they welcome all with a big HOWDY!

This cafe is closed now. It is either up for sale, or already sold. I served superb food and staff were friendly and attentive; although the lower area was badly in need of a makeover.

Went for a birthday dinner and my meal was awful. The rest of the meals were fine. However the prawn cocktail I do not recommend. The person next to me ordered this and it looked lovely. So I decided to order this with a side portion of fries. What I recieved was a disgrace!. It looked nothing like the one the person at the other table had. They had a large quantity of prawn cocktail in a beautiful red large bowl presented well. Mines was a very poor portion in a tiny soup bowl! Lucky if I had 4 leafs of lettuce with what looked like scrambled egg, as the prawns were so small. I will not be going back as I have emailed them twice in regards to this and not had Any reply. I did complain at the time also.

Great food and excellent service. The staff are very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Taste and C. I visit regularly with my grandson and he loves going to Taste and C.

went here for a wee munch, saw some other wee guy who was also having a wee munch we both enjoyed our wee munch. would defininetly go here for a wee munch some other time.

Found in the food court before the security checks. Great menu choices, the fish bap is certainly worth choosing, friendly staff and fairly quick service.

Asking for chips well done and the fish or sausage cooked normally is a problem for them. they cant seem to get it right, either the are raw (chips only) if left as normal or all cooked well done (burnt), If I ask for chips only to be well done and my fish or sausage cooked normally I dont expect everything cooked to the point of burning, Its a simple thing to ask for, cook your chips properly and then cook the rest normally (until they are cooked) not burnt, not way over done! Still knocking it out the park, I like my chips well done and you do this for me every time I ask, amazing chippy and the best in town Edit since last review. By god things have improved and thank you for taking note of my request for well cooked chips, ordered through JustEat with note asking for my chips to be well done, you delivered perfect chips in sausage & fish suppers and every bit was eaten, its empty bags going in the bin :), so happy that I can again leave you guys a 5 star review, you not only nailed it. It was screwed down :) I havent enjoyed a chippy like this for years. Thank you so much Last review Give us choice........after all these years still sending out half cooked chips, please stop it as they go straight in the bin as they are not fit to eat: Edit, Raw chips, over cooked fish and raw sausage, straight in the bin. NOT fit to eat, chips warm but half cooked at best, fish tortured to death until you cant find it in the batter, sausage may have been warm one day, just not today, cold in the middle. see my original review, things have gotten worse. 1 star as i cant give none. from one of the best chippies despite the chips to the absolute worst. avoid at all costs

Fui aquí con mi pareja para una cena informal de San Valentín. Tomé el filete grande de gammon y mi compañero tomó la lasaña. Ambas comidas estaban incluidas en la sección de ofertas especiales y solo pagué la actualización de gammon. El servicio era bueno y la comida era agradable y un servicio rápido. Recomendaría

We went for breakfast and were looking forward to a relaxing meal. Unfortunately the customer service lets the restaurant down. After being shown to our table, we sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come and take our order. My husband ended up going to look for someone. We ordered our breakfasts, asking to leave out a couple of items we don’t like and to replace them with other items. The order was taken and when it arrived my husband’s meal was missing mushrooms. When we pointed this out he was brought some. The problem came when we went to pay the bill. We were charged an extra £8 on top of our breakfasts. Apparently you can request to have items removed (and they’ll still charge you full price)- but what they don’t tell you is that they charge two pounds extra per item for whatever you ask to replace them with. When we questioned this, the waiter said they don’t allow substitutions. This was NOT pointed out when we were ordering. We’ve never had any problems asking to change an item on a breakfast anywhere else. I think this is a big mistake and poor customer service. And it leaves a very bad impression.

Fantastic Time at The Marmalade pot, always quick service, Friendly staff and food is enjoyable and Affordable. Would 100% Recommend.

Popped into our local pub for a couple of pints and some nibbles to watch a game of football. Didn’t expect to pay over £100 for the pleasure after waiting 15 mins at the bar to pay the bill!

As always great coffee and friendly service. Seems the cost of the food is on the rise again but I go for the coffee ☕️

Not a good experience food on menu not a lot of choice and was just thrown together on menu, staff were non-existent and atmosphere felt unfrendly will not be back 😑
