This used to be a great value restaurant did a great deal until 5pm have now stopped the deal restaurant was empty, meal was double the price and portions actually smaller. Food OK but don't think I will be going back felt a bit ripped off.

Food hoid value. But the.rap music was overwhelming. We had yo ask the waiter to turn it off. An hour later ot came back on. Spoiled the lunch

Booked the Festive menu and 5 of us went on Christmas Eve. Great service, food was excellent. Mains were either turkey or chicken and both cooked well and sizeable portions. Then again, we have been eating here since it first opened and we have never had a bad meal!

Evening menu Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Previous visit for lunch menu which is excellent value for money. Multi variety of food from various countries.

If you want to hang about at night with drunken yobs, neds and junkies then this is the place for you.😡. We will never step in this place again. My son was accosted by 2 idiots out their faces in the toilets. The management need to sort this place out 😡

We have only recently found this wee hidden gem. Not had a bad meal from here. My son loves the NYC tower burger(no toppings just bacon). The service is amazing. And the workers are so gd really friendly only to happy to help in anyway they can. Definitely be back again and again x

Disgusting place. Flies everywhere. Wouldn’t like to see what the kitchen looked like. Toilets looked like they hadn’t been clean properly in months. Left before we ordered. STAY CLEAR!! 🤮

Here often, good bar staff, clean pint and good food, only thing missing is some new pool cues and a dart board.

The breaded mushrooms were stoating only 6 on the plate. Nachos no sour cream no guac. 2 curries one was chasni overly sweet ordered plain Nan and garlic Nan both plain ordered chips they came after re-asking for them 10 mins late. Also loads of flies. This place used to be great definitely won’t be back. It was empty that should have been a sign.

staff were lovely but visibly overwhelmed. only one staff member on in the evening, she looked stressed and noted that she didn’t get a break. surely even during the week there should be multiple staff members on? owners do not seem to care about the staff at all. i have seen the owners sitting at the bar eating and drinking while staff are rushing about, offering no help. thoroughly disappointed, despite excellent service this evening. LOOK AFTER YOUR STAFF!!

Starter mushrooms brick hard also very greasy steak in pie tasteless pastry soggy. Sorry to say won't be back used to go regularly for lunch which was always delicious. Come on Grill in the park don't u check your reviews. This place used serve perfect food. Waiting staff were lovely no problem their.

We are regulars here but won’t be back. Service was appalling tonight. Waiting staff had no idea what drinks they had, then brought out the wrong drinks (first trip up to the bar to get them changed). They tried to take our starters away when we were still eating. We all had our knives and forks in our hands / mouths full as the waiter started to lift our plates. They brought our main courses out but with no cutlery or plates (had to go back up to the bar for the second time.) The main course order was wrong…had to go back up a third time. And worst of all, our curries were just full of salt and couldn’t be eaten. Our naan bread was served on the attached (see picture) so when we cut it with our pizza slicer, the wood chip was then all over our garlic naan, not quite the taste we were after. From a food hygiene point of view, they should not be serving food on this type of wood anyway as it cannot be thoroughly cleaned. When the table next to us left, it was “cleaned” and set up for the next booking however several pieces of rice/food were still (very obviously) still on the table. A different waitress spoke to us at the end who was lovely, what a difference, and took the two curries off our bill. Unfortunately however, it will take a lot for us to return due to the service which is such a shame as we were regulars. We were up and down like yo-yos to the bar all night, not a relaxing meal at all.

Not the place it used to be ! Waiting for service when we arrived. Young staff not trained properly. Food terrible, fish and chips seemed to be warmed up in a microwave. Tasteless White wine was warm. Will not be back until it’s new owners

Full of underage kids being served at the bar using fake ID. Owners don’t seem to care. Food ok. Place could be cleaner!

lots of choice on the menu however the managers do not wear masks, treat the bar staff horribly from what i have seen and are predatory towards female customers.

Worst fish supper I have ever had! Disgusting, looked as if it had been pre cooked. Extremely greasy, batter over cooked and very hard. Never again! Food went in bin would not recommend.

Went here one evening rather than bothering to cook dinner.Staff were very friendly & prices were very reasonable.We choose the steak pie which was delicious & also the scampi.Reason for not 5 stars was the fact that I thought menu was a little bit limited.

Family birthday celebration for a 50th birthday. Booked well in advance and also confirmed when delivering the birthday cake. Arrived 5 minutes early to find restaurant empty but told table not ready. Had to wait half an hour to get table, then we had to go and ask for someone to take order. Three members of staff who stood all night talking to each other and never came near table. When waitress took order she came back to confirm and she had got it wrong. We told her again the correct order but when meal arrived it was wrong. One member of our party had to wait for her meal and by the time it came everyone else had finished theirs. We waited again for someone to come and clear the plates away and take our dessert order and to bring the birthday cake. However it seems the staff much prefer to stand and talk and ignore the customers. We ended up by asking for the cake paid the bill and walked out. This restaurant was empty which is not good on a Friday night especially when people get paid at the end of the month. It was a total disappointment and now we know why it was empty so don’t waste your time or money by going there.

Visited early this evening with my family and friends and were unfortunately disappointed. Toilets - Practically no water running from taps at hand basins.Food - Average and was extremely disappointed when kitchen staff asked the waitress to advise us that kids meals would “be out when ready” as we had asked for them to be served with starters which I don’t feel is an unrealistic request. Drinks - Boe gin served in a 1/2 pint glass which I didn’t feel was great. Cocktails were nice. Service - There seemed to be one waitress doing most of the front of house service which I felt wasn’t fair as bar was quiet. Deserts took far too long to arrive and we had to cancel them in the end. We were offered them free of charge (passed on through waitress) from management but feel like it would have been more appropriate coming from them themselves.

Haven’t been for ages and thought we’d give it another go how wrong was I , meal out with kids bar was loud with football on shouting , swearing etc not once did staff try to curtail this for the diners ( mostly all tables had young kids), worst was yet to come when the owner jumps off his seat to fight with a customer even more shouting and swearing before the shoving, absolute joke of an establishment will never set foot in the door again.

Staff great, food good, but to be fair the lack of minor issues could have been avoided had owners seen what wee seen. Beer garden shocking. At no way would anyone want to go there and sit in the lovely weather wee are having. Dirty tables the ground clearly getting used as an ashtray as there was NO ashtrays on any table!!!! Just to be fair a pit that clearly brings in money and at no way it should be classed as a beer garden. I have been slated for speaking out and asked why I did not go to management and I pointed out I should not have to state the obvious to any establishment about how dirty their premises are. Something they should have seen and addressed without me as a customer pointing it out to them. I for one will not be back here and waste my money and would never recommend to anyone.

Very busy wee place I would suggest to anyone Easy parking. Good staff. Food came quickly as we were in a hurry Lots of choice has some nicely cooked chicken with nice vegetables Lots of people in there too I will return

Great value for money, I will definetly return here. I would highly recommend Grill in the Park. Staff service was excellent, and pleasant & curious. Food was fantastic, and no complaints at all.

Visited twice this month for late lunch with a group. Both times all have enjoyed their food and service was prompt and attentive Very reasonably priced and I would happily eat lunch here again.

Arrived on a quiet Wednesday night with 3 other tables occupied in the restaurant. We were quickly shown to a drafty table beside the entrance and drinks were ordered and delivered with menus. After that...well nothing! 20 minutes after arriving and having been obviously forgotten about we paid for our drinks and came home and got a takeaway. We normally have 2 courses and a bottle of wine so we’ve saved an average spend of £50/£60 plus tip!

I’ve given this place a few chances to redeem itself but time after time I’m let down, the latest was Christmas dinner , I personally wouldn’t have booked it but it’s where my family were having our meal, the soup as the starter was nice, the mains Turkey really tuff and so dry, all the veg was under done and had a crunch to it, two really small roast potatoes and two very small pigs in blankets, a very small container of cranberry sauce but the thing that got me was the gravy which was a beef gravy for a turkey meal !!!! The staff looked like they were in fear for there life and it soon became clear why when we heard one of owners/ managers tone towards his staff, ridiculous how some people think it’s ok to speak to anyone like that I’ve noticed this the 3 times I’ve been in, so in short I would not recommend this place as your bound to be disappointed and out a few quid for bad food and worse atmosphere.

Don't know about the food but this place is a total joke at night. Bouncers and bar staff are scum who are looking to ruin your night

Place is mediocre, staff are atrocious. Horrible people with a power complex, believe they are bouncers at the ritz but they are bouncers at a venue with overpriced drinks, awful music and a truly cancerous atmosphere

Comfortable enough pub/restauranve and the food was very good but the service was very poor with not enough staff on for the amount of tables and customers. It was not the first time we experienced this.

Had a fantastic meal with my family and friends last night x didn’t have a couple of things that we wanted x were quickly offered alternatives which were fab x all left full to the brim x food was lovely x

Great venue for a delicious family meal, homely & great service. Food served was varied and choice is good. Clean family restaurant with great staff and ambiance. Welcoming & I would definitely recommend This restaurant for a meal out, and will be returning soon.

Visited here, restaurant was quiet. Looks like it needs another make-over again – cheap self re-upholstered seats for 3rd time (now begging to look tatty) and they backs are all sticky, peeling.

Went for a meal with a group of 11 people.

Been here before and loved it but this time menu had change to deals like pint and burger three course for 9.99 set menu not a lot compared to last menu not sure if this was limited at it was before five at night menu may change ordered burgerdeal chips extra burger came with a drink be it alcoholic or soft drink food was OK fresh warm but disappointed in the limited choice staff attentive and pleasant.

Just been to this place and very disappointing. We have been a few times before and it was great, so to see what’s happening now is disappointing. Number of empty tables but we were sat down had to wait to get order taken food eventually arrived and was good. Tried to order desserts coffee and waited forever the desserts that we received eventually were not great and one of them was a slice off millionaire shortcake that had been microwaved badly so half melted. Coffee and one drink never arrived and they tried to charge for them twice despite me pointing out we had not received them. When I said to the waiter that the service had been poor his reply was we are very busy, surprisingly 4 staff had stood around a lot doing little and there were a number of empty tables so god knows how bad the service could have been if all the tables had been occupied.

Looking at the place its a nice cosy pub/restaurant. Clean, bit dark but nice.

Been twice, enjoy the food, had the Sunday Roast twice! Cocktails are nice too. Service was very slow today and left one of our table waiting while we were almost finished our mains. However it was Easter Sunday, so hopefully a one off. Good value for money.

Always had a good meal and tonight had steaks which were lovely but to pay £4.25 for one slice of garlic bread and cheese did not go down well happy to pay for good food but hate being ripped off

We visit this restaurant regularly. The food and service are fantastic along with very reasonable prices. I am never disappointed with my meal and would recommend the curries and the godfather crepe. Fab bar and restaurant 👌

The food here is always delicious, BBQ fajitas are my favourite. On my most recent visit I noticed that there is a new menu and a good few items have went up in price by a few pounds.

Decided to visit grill in the park for the first time in around six months, having previously been here many times before, first thing I noticed was the renovation work going on inside, which looked about half completed , obviously whilst this is going on the place int operating to its full potential, but to make changes sometimes you have to deal with these things temporarily. Although we went along in a Monday evening, it was busier in the bar area more than the restaurant side, I have to say the food was as good as I remember it in past visits, service usually is good, although I had to go up to the bar to retrieve my change which after paying the bill was not being returned to me, a lack of concentration and professionalism on staffs part and a bit surprising. However I will return again soon as I have been eating here on and off over a few years, and I would also like to see the ongoing work when it is finished, it can only be for the benefit of the customer.

Staff very courteous and welcoming. Well priced tasty food. Toilets on level, no stairs. Hope to return soon.

Two of us had lunch (very cheap) £6 each the wife had pakora had been cooked several times but the curry very good. I had soup very nice but the worst and smallest fish ever. Again the fish had been cooked several times and burnt at the bottom. Marked as 3 due to some good some bad, I suppose at the price can't expect too much. I would rather have better quality and pay more (or just go to Lorimers in Bishopton)

Visited in a group of 6 for a birthday dinner. Lovely, helpful staff. Great atmosphere, you don't even notice the people who are only there for a few pints sitting a few feet away at the bar. Food was delicious with plenty of choice on the menu. Staff decorated the table prior to our arrival for my Dad's 60th which was greatly appreciated. Our only issue was the staggered arrival of our food. One of my brothers had a considerable extra wait for his starter, only half my main meal arrived ( I had fajitas) and my other brothers was wrong so had to be sent back. By the time our full correct meals had arrived the others were nearly finished. None of us would hesitate to eat here again and I'm personally looking forward to it.

8/7/2017 Nice place. Busy friendly took family out for tea didn't have to book. Was lucky to get a table so booking is recommended the drinks had a good choice served by friendly staff straight to the table , food didn't take long to follow after order very nice tasty food for all of us (5) all had different from menu and all cleared our plates some of the same family members have gone back tonight9/7/2017 it was that nice and took friends along

Can't complain about one single thing, had a fantastic lunch left full to the brim and the girl that served us was lovely nothing any trouble brilliant value for money. Will definitely be back again. ps left full to the brim

This place has great food can't fault it , however was there on Sunday for a birthday dinner with family the noise was rediculous @ the bar there had been a football match on earlier in the day ! Can't fault the waiting staff there doing there best trying to get passed the people @ the bar with your food . My son ordered a coke and water it took 30 mins to come it's all down the bar staff there busy chatting and just attending people there to hell with the restaurant plus there was plenty of management floating around ? Could they not have pulled there weight in seeing the place was full , there busy going round giving childen lollipops before there dinner NOT GOOD IDEA . My son and husband went to the toilets they said what a disgrace for a restaurant bar ! Management please take note of this review as you have a good business in the heart of Erskine .

Great food , great service and entertainment was great on my friends hen night in February , good pub for friends or family meal too. Very nice polite staff and always service with a smile.

Been here a number of times for drinks, lunch and dinner and the service and food is always outstanding. My grandparents, who only live a short distance from here, love the restaurant, food and all the staff and are always treated amazingly, the pricing and large portions are great. I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

My friend and I came here for my friends birthday, and we are happy to the point that we did! The view was breathtaking, the administration was very nice and the sustenance was completely delectable! I would prescribe this eatery to everybody, its ideal for supper with family or a night out!

We had an awesome time for my better half's birthday, the nourishment was astounding! The server was exceptionally mindful and made our uncommon night much more unique. Our 4 year old grandson was with us and he served him first and rapidly like we had asked. We'll be back again it's one of our most loved spots to eat, next time we'll be bring our companions who we've told about this eatery. Much obliged to you for another awesome experience.

Fab starter tomato soup n bread then had the chicken fajitas could not fault the food place was on the quiet side but it was mid week staff very helpful quick service looked at sweet menu but to stuffed to order as portions where huge definitely go back again .

I booked a table in the Grill in the park but when I arrived on time owing to there being functions of 30, 15 and others I was told there was no table for my paltry party of 3 The waiting boy who check us was rude, disrespectful and down right uncooperative and told us to leave as no table could be given to us.So if you want to be treated as a piece of dirt on a shoe go to the Grill in the Park

We celebrated X'mas with our family over a lunch in this restaurant. The scenic view, good food, and friendly service are the good things about it.

We had a great time for my husband's birthday, the food was amazing! The waiter was very attentive and made our special night even more special. Our 4 year old grandson was with us and he served him first and quickly like we had requested. We'll be back again it's one of our favorite places to eat, next time we'll be bring our friends who we've told about this restaurant. Thank you for another great experience.

We had a very nice evening! Being a vegetarian, I found I did not have a lot of choice, having said that, all we ordered was delicious. Beautiful view, very nice ambiance, great service... this was our first time and will certainly be back!

The setting couldn't have been more perfect for our girls night and the service and attention to detail was very impressive. Each of our meals were photo worthy and as good as they looked! Our server was lovely and saw to each detail of service in a quiet, professional manner..

We were very pleased upon arrival that a window table was available. The view, as always, was perfect. Of special note was our server . He was pleasant, professional and engaged all at the table in conversation. This does make everyone feel a part of the experience and enjoyment. Never be back in this place again complained to management about the poor quality of the buffet and was told to leave the premises seems they do not like people complaining and kicking them out is there way of dealing with it

It's a real asset in the Erskine area. Great choice so you can mix pakora with lovely steak pie which is very tender.

A local bar with amazing food. The prices are fantastic and I would recommend the lunchtime meal deal it is well worth every penny (which is not many).

Went here for the first time yesterday. Place was very busy with a steady turnover in the restaurant. Quite noisy, but to be expected given the number of people. Had an absolutely delicious Sunday Roast at a fantastic price. Will definitely be back.

We called in here for a lunch , nicely decorated and furnished , well laid out with a bar area as well . The service was very good , quick and attentive, the food was lovely , well presented and tasty . The place was very busy when we were there so obviously popular . As I have family in Erskine the next time we are back we will be calling in here again , very enjoyable and worth every penny , which wasn`t that expensive either for what we all had .

We visited the Grill for an early evening meal and were delighted with both the service and the food. The service was very good with a young man, unfortunately did not get his name, who was very attentive and efficient.

Good place to go if want to be treated like crap bouncer thinks he is Al Capone and can insult customers and management do nothing about it if you have any sense steer clear of this hole.

Staff in this Grill are very good and attentive. A warm welcome and first class service. The menu has a reasonable choice of curries, pizza, crepes and the usual Scottish fare with an Indian twist. Drink prices are reasonable. Only issue is the public bar is too close the dining area and there is occasionally some loud and blue language which could be off putting to some.

Been here for lunch before, food was okay, not bad but also not amazing although for how little you pay that can be expected. Overall the value of food is pretty decent.Coming for drinks can be a hit or a miss, depending on the crowd there that night. Been before and had a nice night with friends and a few reasonably priced pints, also been before and the atmosphere has been grim.

We ate here as a family last week and were all impressed with the quality and selection if food. Portions were generous and great value.

My mum and i were here to celebrate mums birthday absolutely beautiful meal and great value for money service is prompt and attentive been at all different times of the day and never disappointed and definitely will be back lovely atmosphere and surroundings

Nice friendly wee place with good food at reasonable prices. Good service every time I have been. only complaint is the kids nuggets would be better if fresh chicken breast instead of processed cheap stuff. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending here for a night out or a good bit of food.

I cannot fault the delicious food at this restaurant as it is wonderful. Prices are fair and good value for money. The service however was atrocious. We were there tonight as a family of 9 adults and 1 child to celebrate my sister in laws 50th Birthday. The amount of time we waited for service to our table was ridiculous. It really spoiled the night. Such a shame as it is usually fantastic service. Real let down tonight.

Both our starters were lukewarm. My boyfriend ordered his steak rare and it was brought out well done, my pasta was cold and had a skin on it as if it had been heated in a microwave. Drinks are very overpriced.Also found out that the owners pools the staff tips and takes half, I didn't see any of them clearing tables or serving customers, did see them standing about the bar area giving staff in to trouble for slight errors. Won't be back.

The restaurant was great for Value. The food and the drinks are absolutely lovely to die for. The staff are really chilled and happy there customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The restaurant was also super clean when it came to the toilets and the layout of the bar and restaurant. I would recommend anyone to go there for great value and a great drink

Have been here a couple of times for food over the years, when visiting my in-laws from Wales and the food has always been good. Do not let its external appearance put you off! The last visit was for dinner on the night of the Europa League Cup Final and I had the excellent valued £25, 3 course set menu and four drinks, which I used then watching the football after the meal. Food was great, especially the curry. Good banter with the locals who could see I was supporting Liverpool that night, only negative was the football result.

Visited a few times and was surprised by the quality of the fare and the very good service. The cost of a meal for four people was very acceptable.

Went out for lunch the menu is basic but food was great 3 courses for under seven pound. service was fast and staff very pleasant only thing was when our order was taken if u ordered fish u could have breadcrumbs or beer battered we were never ask which we wanted but apart from that cannot fault anything

my mum went in for dinner and complained it was awful noisy and was told it was a "bar and restaurant deal with it" me and the boys went in and were told ssshh this is a family restaurant. seems you cant win unless you are part of the incrowd. all about the celebrities and after parties and if you face doesnt fit your out on your ear. heard a rumour the bossman even barred his own mrs. aggressive door staff and skanky barmaids and owners think there better than everyone who goes there. never tried the food but wont be giving them the chance
