I have eaten in many Michelin-starred restaurants over the years, and whilst there is no denying that the quality of the cooking at Cail Bruich was superb, the portion sizes of the 'mains’ were ridiculously small. And I mean TINY. The two very small slices of duck and one bite-sized piece of fish presented to us as 'mains' at lunch were hugely disappointing. Of course, I know that portion size is no barometer whatsoever as to the quality of a meal, but really? At £90 per person for lunch I am sure you could spend another £2 or £3 to at least serve half a duck breast!

Awfully rude attitude from what I assume was the manager/owner. I assume this as anyone else with such appalling customer service wouldn’t last a day. Went for work do and obviously expected to pay individually. The guy told us we cannot pay individually, as it’s too ‘complicated’. When advised he should have informed us of this prior to ordering, he said he had informed us - he only told us when we were ready to pay and not when we had arrived. So not just rude, a gaslighter as well. When we were then trying to work out the cost for each of us to avoid any of us falling short or owning money, I asked him how much the coffees were and he told me I’d have to find a menu and check myself. I will never be going back here again.

A great local spot for me! The food is really tasty & well priced. The servers were super attentive in the right way, we were never waiting around! A lot of people were in for drinks only but I’d recommend getting a wee bite to eat as it was good! They have good mid week deals on for those wanting to treat themselves on a budget.

Had a few in Millers, big pub nicely decorated with comfy feeling. Good for a chill or great with friends 👍

Lunch here on the last Sunday in September was the best seafood I have ever tasted, fresh and beautifully presented. We had 5 dishes between 3 of us, and the crab cakes were my favourite, packed full with crab, delicious! We were warmly welcomed and the waiting staff were superb, patiently explaining the dishes to us. the fruit tart pudding looked almost too stunning to eat and was also delicious with melt in your mouth pasty. Lovely atmosphere too with mostly extended family groups, will definitely return if I am ever in Glasgow again.

Cute hotel located in a historic castle. It’s a bit outside of the city center in a quiet neighborhood but makes for a peaceful stay. My friend and I shared a suite and it was quite large. The bathrooms were also quite luxurious and there’s a tub as well as shower. They have free breakfast if you book directly with them, but since we booked it through the Capital One portal, we didn’t have that. The keys themselves are physical keys (not keycards). The front desk is nice and even though there wasn’t a water bottle filling station, they filled them up for us. They were able to hold onto our baggage after we checked out while we explored the area.
