Friendly staff, good sandwich with chips. Good sized portion.

So glad I came across Bocadillo on my trip. Their food (bagel & breakfast) was absolutely delicious and the staff is soo lovely too. You guys made my morning so much better! Will definitely visit again someday.

Wife and I stopped in while passing bye, having been visiting a nearby business. Purely spur of the moment but it was one of the nicest coffee's I have had for a long time eating/drinking out. Complimented with toasted fruit scones, which were excellent.

Great breakfast nook for early morning take away! Had their muffin box and flat white, spot on, fast and cheap! The one woman show was really killing it at 7:30AM!

Came here on Tuesday with my sister and nephew. The food is great and the service is even better. The waitress Steph couldn't have been anymore helpful and all other staff were great too. Will definitely go back.

Stumbled across this place and so glad I did, the ladies are amazing the service was exceptional - friendly and welcoming. Highly Recommend.

Very disappointing as have been before and seems to be getting busier and more expensive but portion size of macaroni and cheese was appalling and jacket potato had hardly any filling. This is a sharp contrast to what has been served before. This is an opinion shared by my colleagues who used to regularly go there. Will not be going back in the foreseeable future.

Great wee place. Recently started a new job in the area and this is my new lunch spot. Staff are nice and service is quick. Stickler for the soup and toastie deal to be honest but they have a wide menu with daily specials, homemade treats. Wouldn't mind a bigger spoon for the soup though! 😀

Came in for a take out coffee about 1.30 pm today (30/03/22). Two people seated at a table, two waiting for a takeout order and one person giving an order and paying. So , it’s quiet and there’s three staff behind counter serving, apparently. So person before me stands aside to wait with other two . No acknowledgement from staff I’m there waiting to be served but I think maybe they’re making up the orders. No , instead congratulations to younger staff member for “dealing with that “. What I don’t know - but it’s worthy of a group hug and patting each other’s backs 🤷🏼‍♀️Face masks have been pulled down at this point and no hand sanitising either. Still not even a glance in my direction- like , why do they think someone has come in and is waiting at the counter?A few minutes has now passed when another customer ( from table I think) walks up and he’s paying.No problems seeing him. STILL no one has approached or acknowledged me. Best part of 5 minutes has passed. I’ve had enough. I leave . Feeling really bad being dismissed like that. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE- retraining required there and also basic safety precautions being carried out in a global pandemic. Never got to try food or drink so can’t comment but I will not be back and certainly couldn’t recommend based on the terrible ( lack of) service I (didn’t) received. I would give no stars based on that experience if I could.

I visit this café everyday and love doing so, the atmosphere - the staff - the coffee & the food is just fab! You're always welcomed with the biggest smiles, the staff take time to ask you how you are, to know their customers personally and have a great personality. The specials & soups are always well varied daily also & always fresh. With the new government guidelines in place this is taken very seriously, track & trace - hand sanitizers, masks worn by all staff and customers, floor markings for social distancing, plastic screens and tables are disinfected after every use. Keep up the good work girls! :-) xx

The reason this cafe is so good are the staff that work there. They always have a smile on their face and genuinely seem to enjoy working there. They know the regulars by their first name and that’s a biggy, as the cafe is always busy. They serve an array of freshly made sandwiches and my favourite, home made soups. The soups are , I reckon, the tastiest served in Glasgow. They sell out quick, so get in early. This is a wonderful, traditional Glasgow cafe, with a brilliant atmosphere. It’s family run business and it shows. I would certainly recommend Bocadillo for breakfast , lunch or even for just a coffee and cake.

The woman with the racist fake tan is very condescending and rude. She gives off bad vibes and ruined my visit with the tone and attitude she gave me and my friends. I didn’t enjoy the lack of seasoning on the dry chicken. However, the vegetarian dishes are great.

Lovely little cafe nestled in a very convenient part of the city. Nice and clean and a good selection of sandwiches, pasta bowls, salads, etc. I said it was my first time and the lady behind the bar gave me a nice explanation of how it all worked. It was £3.95 for a soup and sandwich, which was very reasonably priced for a good lentil and bacon soup. I had a BLT to go with it, and it was very nice, though it could do with a bit more filling.

This is a pleasant little cafe, good for a quick coffee or a light meal. We enjoyed their macaroon bars – unobtainable in England, where we live, but which brought back memories of my Scottish childhood. Staff are very pleasant, and the place is scrupulously clean.

The coffee and toasted sandwich was great. Accompanied with a plate of salad which was excellent and crisp with nice salad dressing. Also, the coffee was hot and tasted nice... Recommended!

This is right beside the main thoroughfare in Glasgow city centre. Handy for the hundreds of office staff who work there. It's always busy which tells you everything. Home made soup usually 3 options rolls n sausage to home made chicken fajitas They do a cheap soup n sandwich deal nice and quick if you are in a hurry The staff are really helpful and friendly under the stewardship of the unique Debbie If your around go and sample the experience of Bocadillo

Been going here since it first opened. Other places start putting their prices up and the quality of food goes down but not Bocadilo. Very reasonable price, beautifully plated and the food tastes great. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I've been a few times - the staff are lovely and always friendly to my little boy. The food is just what you need for breakfast - croissants are excellent. Good prices. A note also for the toilets which are perfectly clean, especially when I've been to other cafes and this seems to be somewhere that is often forgotten about.

The food was really good, for a great price, although one of the staff member was really rude with us. I also work in customer service so I do understand sometimes the staff is not the happiest because of lunchtime etc, but after several try of being nice and friendly we got the same attitude from her. As the staff is the heart of a place we didn’t really enjoy our time there. I gave 3 stars just become of the food and price, but I’d never return to that place again.

Joking aside this is a wonderful place - if you are feeling down, the girls will always make you smile. Great service, good choice of food whether take away or sit in. They even do platters for you if you are having meetings at work so try them. They are delicious and freshly made. Keep up the good work girls.

I visit this cafe often for lunch as I work nearby and the food is always delicious. The soup and sandwich deal is very reasonably priced and the staff are lovely and always provide great service.

I do like Boccidillo coffee shop, come as a guest & leave as a friend, I’m often a regular here in the mornings getting my usual coffee & bacon sandwich. Good selection of coffees & daily changing specials to choose from. Usually it’s pretty busy here between 12 noon and 1.30.

Order was taken wrong and by the time it arrived correctly my colleagues were halfway through their lunch. The food itself - smoked ham & cheese baguette - was on a very dry, verging on stale, brown bread baguette. Waitress was pleasant enough but the woman on the till seemed to be in a bad mood. It wasn't until we were back in the office that we realised our jackets which we had put on top of the seats were covered in dust. Can't understand why this place is so busy as others sitting around us also didn't seem very impressed with the overall service.
