The best restaurants serving British food in Glenrothes Central and Thornton Fife Central Scotland

We've been a few times now and always try something different. I've had the Victoria sponge, the cheesecake and the various scones and they are all fabulous! The service is great and the staff are very friendly - the only thing that lets it down is the poor ventilation.

Nice breakfast, served in a frying pan as special. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

This was one of our takeaway suppers tonight What happened to quality control?? Surely someone thought that was appropriate for someone to eat for there tea. This is meant to be a white pudding but it’s completely burnt Also 1/2 of it gone So now I don’t get a meal unless I go make something, was meant to be a treat tonight to save me cooking but it’s anything but!!! Can’t even eat the chips as burnt bits over them and that’s all I can smell. Supposed to get a refund for this meal will wait and see

We visit here occasionally, always good food always friendly. We use it for birthday lunches anniversary events in the family. The outlook over the driving range is so peaceful and serene. We love it here.

Food is really good, servers are attentive friendly and polite. The menu is varied and very reasonably priced. We have now been several times and can personally recommend the food. We have sampled most of the menu and nothing has been disappointing.

The food was great and had a nice and relaxed atmosphere, very enjoyable lunch on our way home. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

I really enjoy visiting Caffe Caffe (I've been visiting since waaay back when it was called La Speranza, then Cafe Al Fresco!) I always like to have the Steak Pie & Chips when I visit here, as the one from Caffe Caffe is always really nice. The chips are always well-cooked, nice and crunchy, and the beef in the steak pie is so nice and tender. The pastry is very nice too. Always want to give a shout-out to the serving staff, especially the nice ladies who serve you behind the counter. All of them are very kind and friendly, a credit to the cafe. Caffe Caffe is easily one of the best eateries in Glenrothes.

Dear God. Didn’t think this place could get worse but it has. Not enough staff, tables not cleared, no water in hot water urn, no clean mugs, no milk in coffee machine and the one poor staff member totally run off his feet trying to cope eventually collapsed with the stress of it all. Ambulance was called so I do hope the poor man is okay. Absolutely appalling that Morrisons management have let this go on for so long! Staff your cafe or shut it down!! We sat for an hour and a half and dud not receive our order especially after staff member collapsed. Werent offered a refund as till couldn’t be opened???? But were given a had written credit note for a free meal next time. After a second disastrous visit to this cafe I’m not sure I would return again!! Management get it sorted!!!

Food was burnt. App wouldn’t work and charged us twice for one order. Service was so slow. Waited over an hour for our meal. Had plans after it, which we had to cancel. Just not really ideal.
