The best restaurants serving British food in Northern Ireland

This has to be one of the strangest dining experiences I've ever had. It is literally like walking into the 70's from the terrible decor to the strange atmosphere they have nailed it. I felt like a child again dining with my parents surrounded by white linen table clothes and staff that must have been there when it was first built. The food is undescribable beige bland vegetables boiled within an inch of there life's and meat that was drier than the Shara dessert. It was all very weird . They brought us the bill half way through our meal like we may run out at anytime. The staff are all in bizarre uniforms that look like faulty towers the whole experience was definitely different. I would not recommend such a shame as it could have potential especially situated where it is. The food is not cheap either for what they are serving.

Went in for dinner. So relaxed and super friendly staff. Food and service was exceptional. Great value for money, highly recommend

Another trip to north coast paused for lunch at this great place.Lunch was fine and the Guinness top notch. Must try and get to one of the many gigs some evening.

Amazing food ,would highly recommend coming here for the experience , I had the pate to start and the lamb shank for mains, they where both off the specials menu, the lamb shank was falling of the bone and full of flavour, will be back

Buen té de tarde promedio, pero el Ritz no es. La cantidad es suficiente, pero faltan en algunos tés especiales. Algunos de los muebles tenían manchas y parecían bastante desgastados.

Haven't been ere for a number f years and decided to go again for an evening meal. We weren't disappointed. Will call again in the future.

We are staying in the area for the weekend and weren’t sure where to eat. We found this place on Tripadvisor and we are so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious. We had the chicken dinner, beef burger and tex mex chicken. Followed by banoffee pie. Everything was cooked to perfection with such delicious flavours. Clearly an experienced chef in the kitchen. The atmosphere was nice. The place was clean and comfortable, and the waitressing staff were very helpful and friendly. Prices were very reasonable as well. All round a great experience. Highly recommend. Definitely worth a visit.

At a beautiful wedding this week held in the Magheramorne Estate, I was fortunate to enjoy the most amazing meal. It was beyond restaurant standard, simply superb, full of imagination and flavour. There was a hint of what was to come from the delicious canapés, homemade nachos and creamy hummus , sweet little veggies with dips, yummy stuffed baby potatoes to name a few. The service was impeccable, speedy, professional and unobstrusive, nothing was too much trouble in looking after the guests. I could eat that dinner all over again. I would give Jane’s Kitchen hundred stars if I could!

I cannot recommend The Arches Cafe enough!!!! I am so so thankful to Sammy and the team. Sammy and crew catered our wedding: afternoon tea, three course meal and a buffet meal for night time guests! They were AMAZING every single step of the way. My husband and I wanted to make our wedding our own and Sammy just went with us and helped with everything. So so thankful to the team for making our day so special! Service was incredible Food was incredible Sammy is incredible 💛 Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Este es un lugar de primera! ! Mi familia asistió a la fiesta de bautizo de mis hijas amigas la semana pasada y la pasamos muy bien. Fácil de encontrar y aparcar. Fantástica comida y servicio y una habitación de buen tamaño. Definitivamente lo recomendaría! !

I would give 10 stars if I could... found it by accident on google when we wanted a bite to eat at a really awkward time of day 15.45 on a Thursday. Chef really accommodating in terms of gluten-free. Waitress was super friendly and helpful... Food was fresh made and super tasty. price was a steal at just over £20 for 2 mains a side and soft drink. I’ll defo be back! Thanks

Great bar for a quick bar meal. If I could give 6 stars for the service I would. Lovely pint of Guinness and food hearty and tasty £16 for a Steak and Guinness pie is also great value. Give it a go.

Great place. Food excellent. Gluten free menu is the best I’ve seen. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Also great selection of reasonably priced cocktails

Served quickly and friendly.. Didn't have several things on the menu available. In for my 16th anniversary with my wife and kids on the 25/5/25. I got the chicken wings and the Scampi special. Chickens wings were hot but lovely. As for the.scampi special. It was awful. Nothing special about it. Got set down in front of me and everyone just looked at it. 9 tiny wee bits of scampi and 3 blobs of batter alongside a pot of chunky chips. Ended up eating the chips and leaving half the scampi as you couldn't taste and prawns in it as they were so small. Disappointing to say the least. Been a few times now and each time there's been something wrong. The other meals seem to be ok but nothing exceptional I'm afraid.
