Walked in and they were pretty busy. As first timers to the cafe there was no welcome, no info about whether to wait to be seated or find a spot for ourselves. We hung around the door unsure and uncomfortable. The waiter, a young man dressed in sportswear, told us there were very busy, very shortstaffed (as if it was our problem/fault) and that there would be a wait. Didn’t say where, so we still hung around the door feeling like awkward, unwelcome and unwanted miscreants. Eventually he cleared and cleaned a table for us upstairs, handed us a menu and we had to find the spot for ourselves. The menu was uninspiring, we weren’t offered a drink when we sat down and the table was sticky and still had gloop on from whoever had used it previously. Totally negative experience. We walked out before we had the chance to order. If there is a manager reading this, an apology would be appropriate.

Have walked past this place many times and never had time to stop. Went in today for some coffee and pastries. Great coffee-tasted amazing! Pastries were also lovely. Staff were so friendly. Dogs are also welcome which is a bonus. Will definitely be back.

I found this beautiful building on Main Street Clogher. Inside is a lovely clean, quiet coffee shop with a lot more potential. Christian books displayed in the entrance with a few H&M baby clothes..I was disturbed by the ‘in your face’ books laid out everywhere for sale. Leaflets displayed on entering the disabled toilet alongside the hand sanitiser. No paper towels and the dryer not functioning though. I understand this venue is used for other purposes. I found the display very offensive and discriminatory. It is 2023 and there are people from other religions and none travelling through the Clogher Valley. I have total respect for Christianity but this went too far. Local open minded resident.

Popped in on way back home on ferry. Ordered a latte, 2 rounds of toast (i.e 2 slices each) & a mug of hot water as we as purchasing a pack of cards. Paid £14 plus change. Cards £4.99, latte £3.40 which left £6.00 for toast & mug of hot water. The woman who served us, the senior member of staff, was rude especially when I pointed out I couldn't drink from that cup as she had handed me the mug not by the handle but by placing her fingers spread over the top of the cup where you drink. Was I overcharged for saying I couldn't drink from that cup? I don't know but what I do know is is that it was an absolute rip off especially when a round of toast on the ferry was only £0.75. If travelling back home on Larne ferry again, wouldn't recommend buying from the cafe.

I cannot recommend The Arches Cafe enough!!!! I am so so thankful to Sammy and the team. Sammy and crew catered our wedding: afternoon tea, three course meal and a buffet meal for night time guests! They were AMAZING every single step of the way. My husband and I wanted to make our wedding our own and Sammy just went with us and helped with everything. So so thankful to the team for making our day so special! Service was incredible Food was incredible Sammy is incredible 💛 Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Este es un lugar de primera! ! Mi familia asistió a la fiesta de bautizo de mis hijas amigas la semana pasada y la pasamos muy bien. Fácil de encontrar y aparcar. Fantástica comida y servicio y una habitación de buen tamaño. Definitivamente lo recomendaría! !

Had not been here before and there are a lot of potential places for breakfast in Bushmills. The food was good, well cooked and nicely presented and came very quickly. There were 4 of us and we all had different cooked breakfasts and a hot drink. The total bill was around £32 which was good value.

Best chippy in Belfast for food and price. Always a queue so be prepared to wait or phone in advance. I just ordered a fish which is normally only £4.00 which may have been cod. Anyway they only had haddock. After a long wait it appeared with a free scoop of chips. And only charged four, was amazing as others are charging seven or eight pounds. Very enjoyable hidden gem. Only known to locals. Best chippy for food and price in Northern Ireland for sure.
