Having reserved our table beforehand we were warmly greeted to The Mulberry Tree and shown to our table. Menus offered were both clean and well presented. With an interesting mix of starters and an amazing array of main courses …. You will not be disappointed, there’s dish suitable for ‘any foody’. Every menu item is sensibly priced and the selection of seasonal vegetables and potatoes are always a delight 👌. So, in summary - - - fantastic dishes, good sized portions, each cooked to perfection before being carefully and beautifully presented to the table in a timely manner. Only 2 desserts this time, but 4 coffees/teas rounded off yet another enjoyable evening perfectly. 🌟Unanimous vote: Sensible prices🌟 for fantastic dishes 👌and good sized portions👍. It’s a real bonus to be allowed to 🍷🍷 bring your own wine! Great value, excellent food in a pleasant setting, served by tidy and attentive staff. Thank you to George and his team for yet another enjoyable evening. Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💯👌

I've heard so many great comments about Trait I thought I'd give it a go. Went to the shop in Belfast city centre. I had an amazing Croissant and an americano. Lovely atmosphere. Even though the shop was busy the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

Walked in and they were pretty busy. As first timers to the cafe there was no welcome, no info about whether to wait to be seated or find a spot for ourselves. We hung around the door unsure and uncomfortable. The waiter, a young man dressed in sportswear, told us there were very busy, very shortstaffed (as if it was our problem/fault) and that there would be a wait. Didn’t say where, so we still hung around the door feeling like awkward, unwelcome and unwanted miscreants. Eventually he cleared and cleaned a table for us upstairs, handed us a menu and we had to find the spot for ourselves. The menu was uninspiring, we weren’t offered a drink when we sat down and the table was sticky and still had gloop on from whoever had used it previously. Totally negative experience. We walked out before we had the chance to order. If there is a manager reading this, an apology would be appropriate.

When we arrived we were asked if we had booked but as we hadn't we were given a table in the kids corner.(We were a group of 4 adults , 13 and a 10 year old) The waitress taking the drinks order did not wait for everyone on to order had to order again when she brought the kids drink. The cutlery had to be changed at one setting as it dirty with dry food on it. I had roast beef which was tender but the vegetables were boiled beyond the point of no return. I certainly won't be back.

Our go to restaurant when in Greyabbey. Because the food here is always so delicicious. This time we both had the Scampi for our main course and the dessert was the cheesecake of the day. Sorry that there are no photos, but it was so tempting not to dig in as soon as it was put in front of us. So you will have to take our word for it. Kirsty was our very attentive server, and we also like comimg here for her lovely smile.
