I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant . The food is of excellent quality and exceptional value. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended !

The problem is that sometimes food is great and sometimes awful. There is therefore no incentive to invite friends as you can’t rely on what you get. That means you only use the catering facilities if you’re stuck. The stir fry I had 2 weeks ago was fresh chicken. What I had tonight was pre-cooked chicken which was hard and foosty tasted and minimal veg. Not inclined to go back although I’m a member. Sorry to say!

Couldn’t go back after a weak frozen mushroom starter and stringy vegetables which were supposed to be oven cooked. A fair steak but when I reported the poor accompanying sides there was no response. Not one to go to, sorry to say,

Don't worry if you don't play golf there is a warm welcome at the restaurant. A specials board and menu that will not disappoint, all served by staff that are happy to help.With a new chef and refurbished surroundings it makes for a very pleasant experience. Booking advisable especially for larger groups.

Great to be able to eat here regularly again. New chef, great menu and very economical. Food always fresh and interesting choices. Tiramisu to die for by the way. Definitely great for family and group occasions. Well done!

Recently had a lovely family meal at the golf club. Had the 3 courses for £10 deal. The food was delicious and portions were big. Great value for money and an ideal setting to bring the kids. Will definitely be back!

121 Central PromenadeWe choose Newcastle for a 50th Birthday celebration as we had visited Hugh Mc Cann's/O'Hare's many times. Throughout the process of planning, staff were helpful, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. When we finally arrived, again staff could not have been more helpful. Lee helped us immensely during the decorating of the venue space and found us everything we needed with a smile. He was fantastic from begining to end. The rest of the staff are a credit to the owners as they are all fantastic, friendly and so helpful. Another mention to Mark who was our barman for the evening. He smiled throughout, took everything in his stride and even found our cake box for us in the end! Thank you all so much for a memorable weekend.

52 Market StreetBe careful with times with this cafe, signs on the door and online state they close at 4.30pm. Called in today at 4.03pm and was told kitchen closed at 4pm, very disappointing.

4-8 South PromenadeBooked a table in the restaurant. Food and staff were great. Our two dogs had a lovely time as well and felt really welcomed inside.

98 Bryansford RoadThis has to be one of the strangest dining experiences I've ever had. It is literally like walking into the 70's from the terrible decor to the strange atmosphere they have nailed it. I felt like a child again dining with my parents surrounded by white linen table clothes and staff that must have been there when it was first built. The food is undescribable beige bland vegetables boiled within an inch of there life's and meat that was drier than the Shara dessert. It was all very weird . They brought us the bill half way through our meal like we may run out at anytime. The staff are all in bizarre uniforms that look like faulty towers the whole experience was definitely different. I would not recommend such a shame as it could have potential especially situated where it is. The food is not cheap either for what they are serving.
