Ordered a single piece of cod. It was at least 50% batter. Doubt I will be returning. It's too late complaining as once your home there's not much point.

This is a great chippy. really big portions, fish supper free pastie is great value and a delicious meal. Staff are lovely. Girls in the sit in are especially lovely. a great spot for lunch x

I ordered a cheese burger and chips for myself which was very filling and very tasty. No grease at all and the food was "melt in your mouth". My only problem was that I wanted more!! Delivery is very prompt as always and if they say half hour to 40 minutes then it's bang on time. A proper chippy with fantastic chefs and staff

Nicest food (especially the burgers) and they have the most friendliest staff about, great people always make me feel welcome by chatting away. They also have the nicest chips which is a must.

great food, great portions, lovely staff, very clean. it's owned and run by a husband and wife team and they take hygiene, customer service and good food very seriously - but they are also great fun, the wait and counter staff are lovely and it's just a generally nice place for a spot of dinner.

A really comprehensive menu with onsite dining available Tim and the team are fantastic and the fish must be amongst the best in Northern Ireland A must!

Tim's is excellent, and the food offered in this chippy never fails to impress. Both sitting in and take out options are exemplary and I highly recommend you give them a visit.

Been going to Tims for a while now and could not find fault in anything food staff premises. Normally get a carryout but would sit in on the occasion, Tim and his wife are always very friendly and always time to have a banter, the rest for the staff are very pleasant and always willing to help.

Called into the Restaurant for some lunch and was very pleasantly surprised at the excellent food. I can definitely recommend the Ulster Fry it was cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and very friendly customers using the Restaurant I will be definitely been back the next time I am in Newtownards. Excellent food keep up the good work.

Tim's offers the best deal buy any supper and get a pastie free. His fish are great value with a very nice batter never seen fish as big . Can phone and order to collect or get them delivered. Well worth a visit very pleasant staff.
