Love being able to order/pay online...food's great too! Went tonight for fish & chips for me, a chip butty with curry sauce for my wife and a couple of pickled eggs for me...an old Southern habit! It was all excellent. Tonight's visit was for a large cod (huge) small chips and a pickled egg! Delicious!

Really good Sunday lunch at the bay tree in stillington, the portions were very generous and it’s easily the best Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The prices are also very reasonable. Hopefully the fire will be on next time we go in the pub has a very cosy and relaxed vibe.

Not sure what it's like at a weekend but it's really quiet on a weekday always running out of beer.

Out of all the lounges this is bottom tier, after expectations set by others. Such a disappointment, dirty tables all over, stained seats, messy food area. No labels on food, yes you can guess but surely have some labels. Nothing matched up, curry no rice, bolognaise no pasta, cheese no crackers. The only lounge where Prosecco is extra, that I’ve been in anyway. Ran out of white wine after half an hour of being in there. We sat with dirty plates and half drank glasses on our table for the duration. No atmosphere at all not even a bit of music leaving the tables speaking very quietly, we weren’t even talking to each other as you could easily hear other people conversations it just felt very awkward. We left with time to spare because it was absolutely rubbish.

Sometimes you find a place which exceeds your expectations you will always remember the evening and our experience at The Golden Fleece was just that. You have to visit here. We came here with friends for a casual dinner with friends and our meal was brilliant. 2 of our party had the “Featherblade” steak special which blew them away. The team were excellent, our dinner brilliant and we all agree that we are looking forward to returning. Special thanks to Chloe, our waitress and Fabio the chef. Absolutely recommended! We can’t wait to return.

We stopped by here to get a drink after visiting the station. Very empty when we arrived. It turns out that they had just closed for the afternoon. However, the gentleman behind the bar still served us. Cost £13.50 for a glass of wine and a pint of shandy though! Had our drinks outside as they locked up after we were served.

Food OK queue massive and long wait not enough staff tables not cleared won’t be rushing back could be a lot better it’s a shame.

Limited footfall I suppose... toilets ARE tiny only 4 loos in the mens... but the wide choice of eateries more than made up for this!

My husband and I visited the YD in Wakefield on Saturday morning for breakfast. Very cute surrounds. We were the only people in but this soon changed and the place was full by the time we left. My husband had a full English will poached eggs, all cooked perfectly, I have mushrooms, crispy bacon and beans on sourdough toast, delightful! Coffee was great as was the service, couldn’t fault a thing, will definitely return.

Filthy place with terrible service! Glasses were filthy, the coffee machine was rank, it took 1 hour 20 minutes to get our food & then they added an extra £85 to the bill in items we hadn’t ordered 😂?! We nearly paid it until we realised it sounded a bit much. The place is absolutely filthy, we smelt of cooking fat after we had left & I don’t know how it’s still operating as a business?! The kitchen was gross when we walked past… go to Boathouse instead!
