All customers complaining will not be returning used to love coming here but now it’s digusting had to do hot drinks yourself when it used to be done for you never enough staff on we were a family of 6 and couldn’t wait to leave which was the best part of our experience

me my partner and litttle boy came here for a quick bite to eat and a drink, i got a scone with clotted cream and jam, i wasnt too sure which cream, clotted cream was as im young and don’t usually chose this item. she proceeded to answer me very rudely saying ‘there’s only one form of clotted cream you don’t have runny cream with scones’. as i was answering a genuine question that i did not know the answer too she made me feel extremely embarrassed and silly i kept a smile and was polite . my partner was also very shocked by this, she also said she would look in the back for the jam for my scone and let me know so i could pay and never came back. i could see her name however she had short dark grey and white hair with gold hooped earrings and was serving at the till.

I got my daughter a CHILDREN'S, chicken nuggets and chips. And it’s a good job I break her food up because there was a chicken bone in the middle of one of her nuggets. Imagine if she ate it and she choked. Fair enough I got a refund on every meal but that isn’t the point. Also the chips were cold.

I’m a regular customer. But my recent experience has put me off going to a Morrisons cafe ever again. They had one poor member of staff doing the till, making drinks, taking food out and cleaning. After waiting 25 mins we decided to walk away. Lots of other customers also walked away. Shsme on the Morrison’s management.

Speedy service but the food was just warm.my slice of toast was not presented on a side plate but put directly onto the scruffy and vandalised table.

Asking people to move seats four and a half hours before closing time leaving about 13 tables available is poor at a place this size.

Absolutely awful. The childs sandwich was stale and inedible and the adult meal was stone cold. Had to wait a long time to be served. This is the 3rd time i have gone there in recent months and it is always really poor quality. Will not be going again!

Fabulous friendly and fun staff and lovely food and great “more card” offers … thanked the Manager too as was so lovely for staff to be so happy and fun 🤩

When I entered the cafe, it was very clean and tidy. No trays or dirty plates left on the tables, which was great to see. I sat down and ordered on the app. I ordered a sweet potato curry, rice & naan with a cup of tea. I also ordered my daughter a cheese sandwich, quavers and a fruit shoot. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced, especially as I was able to use the kids eat free deal. I interacted with 3 members of staff. All of whom were very friendly. It was also great to see them working so hard as the cafe’s busy period had ended. They were working hard cleaning the tables again and cleaning the floors. It was brilliant to see as some staff in cafes are quick just to stand about in quiet periods. I will definitely be back as it was a lovely relaxing meal. I think some of the previous comments are quite harsh and undeserved.

THINK before you come in here. Todays "breakfast" offering (which was on my plate!) was 2 rashers of bacon one of which had hardly any meat on it. If you like that then you will enjoy coming here, if you dont, then there are other places in Bridlington where you CAN get a decent lunch for around the same price. My plate did NOT include any mushrooms. It did include 2 butchered fried eggs, nothing in either they were just battered and bruised. All this for £17! for me the CEO should be greeted with a baseball bat to the head, it really was that poor. Shame on you David Potts!

Had two ready made Egg and Cress sandwiches with a pot of tea and a Flat White coffee. The sandwich bread was tough, dry and not tasty at all. The Flat White was simply a black coffee with a touch of milk, and we had to change the tea cup because it hadn’t been washed properly from its previous use. It looked like all the tea spoons were badly stained, and those along with the eating area itself, look to be in need of a thorough clean. Not a good experience at all.

Avoid this cafe like the plague. Absolutely terrible. We ordered 4 breakfasts and four coffees. The coffees were luke warm. The sausages cremated, bacon undercooked and eggs like rubber. Dirty tables all over the place and bits of food all over the floor, and waited 40 mins for the food to arrive.

I ordered sausage, beans, egg and chips for my son and he loved it. He also had sticky toffee pudding which was a generous portion but disappeared quickly. Good service from the lady on the till who looked after us well.

Went for a Christmas dinner to be told no turkey. 40 minutes wait then a chicken dinner arrives not very hot or tasty and then a lady arrives with a Yorkshire pudding after nearly eating my dinner ..the service and quality of food you are server is of poor standard and will not be going in to your cafe again need more staff and food needs to be served hot your standard as dropped to be rated very poor all round very disappointed no turkey at Christmas (really)

It used to a reasonable place to eat , but what the they are serving now a rip off The only people to blame the management won't be back

Took my granddaughter for her tea only to be told sorry we now close at 5pm even though it was only 4.45pm but would serve me a hot drink & a cake so anyone wanting there offer of kids eat free!!! Who eats tea so early that's ridiculous

We turn up at 8am the opening time of cafe at Morrison Bridlington. First time since covid-19 lock down . The cafe has had complete make over . The furniture was very rustic with comfortable chairs and lots of space . The service was both semi automated with few ways to order using touchscreen technology order on phone with app or at the till. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts took about 15 minutes to arrive at table . It was hot and well presented. We had one small and one large breakfast with two pots of tea . The food was fresh and tasty we real enjoyed bacon and hash browns washed down with tea which would be my only small criticism a little weak for me . The cafe well laid out lots of room with lots of different breakfasts available including Continental

Worst food we have ever had at a Morrisons cafe. My partners chicken was so tough she couldn’t bite it and my steak pie was burnt and dry, chips were undercooked. I can understand why it was empty we won’t try this one again

I came here for a breakfast this morning whilst passing brid. I usually use Scarborough or malton. What a difference. The decor is so rustic and beautiful. The staff was very friendly, easy to order your breakfast so fresh. Nothing was too much for them. I ordered a latte also with my breakfast, the lady made the nicest late I think I’ve ever had. Highly recommend 10/10

Called in here yesterday with 2 friends for a breakfast before a days work. Two breakfasts were really dreadfull & sausage sandwich uneatable. Not only £22 wasted but 2 of us felt sick with tummy problems all day. Waitress was fed up & couldn't care...

Nice place to go after a big shop. Lovely cup of tea with fresh lemon. Sandwiches are great value and good variety. Comes with Crisps. Not long to wait . We ordered breakfast that was delivered to our table. Very good value.

Was impressed as entering the cafe . Track and trace in place and told our table number and shown where it was. Ordered pots of tea and bacon sandwich. Loads of bacon in it and a brilliant pot of tea. No complaints.

Ordered my breakfast, and when it came there was no black pudding, when i asked i was told "we have none" but they'd happily charged me for it, also my eggs were missing, when i asked about this the lady huffed and puffed like it...

Electric car charger outside cafe, You have to join and pay at least £10.credit.The charge cost about £3.00 We didn't use the cafe. But it would have been very convenient if we had as you could sit inside and watch your car charge.

Visited the restaurant recently while on holiday ordered small fish mash peas when arrived spoonful of mash and few peas wouldn’t feed child had better meals cheaper elsewhere wouldn’t go again very disappointed

We went here for sunday lunch they serve a half chicken still on the bone without any suitable knives to remove it and the beef we ordered was like shoe leather terrible. We have also been on a Saturday teatime and it appears at least...

This must be the worst breakfast I have ever eaten. The bacon under cooked. Cold beans. Soggy hash browns, fried bread cold. I will never return

The workers smelt it took 40 mins to do 4 bacon sandwiches and when they got here the bacon was undercooked so we got a full refund and went never go there

Loved it, I had scampi, my partner had tikka, eldest had kids pizza (huge portion) and the youngest had cottage pie which had root veg mash on top, and he loved it, all of which came with drinks, food was lovely and service was pretty quick considering it was a thursday and quite a few turned up at once. Off there again tonight would definitely recommend

Dear oh dear. The cafe itself looks very nice but the food is atrocious. The poached eggs on our breakfast looked like they had been sat warming for 1/2 an hour even though we ate ten minutes after they opened. Over cooked and cold. Definitely all pre cooked seeing they where served only minutes after ordering. In fact the whole breakfast was over cooked, cold and of such low quality it was a joke. Also considering you have an in store butchers. Why oh why do you allow this? And before I’m asked why I never mentioned this whilst there. No one asked and I didn’t want to make a seen. The girl serving seemed nice enough and wouldn’t want to spoil her day.

We called for breakfast to find endless cups and cutlery dirty! The floors need one hell of a good clean too

Cutlery and plates were only describable as filthy, Hot drinks (Tea and Coffee) tasted like dishwater and pure mould. Staff concerningly abrupt and extraordinarily rude and facetious. We ordered three traditional cooked breakfasts, which were underwhelming and flat cold. The most shocking part was the high prices. Take my advice and go to Wetherspoons.

Went twice to this cafe. The first time we did some shoping as well. Had the new chicken leek and bacon pie. Rest had jacket potatoe with salad. Drinks as well. The second time had mini fish and chips which was very nice.

Visited this evening for the £10 family deal. We had fish & chips, scampi, kids spaghetti Bolognese & kids sausage & mash. Lovely food, great service & friendly staff.

For food shopping, this is my main place to go in Bridlington. It has everything you could need and the staff are always helpful. The deli counter is great.

I paid £5.50 for Stew and £1.30 for a bowl of cold chips, The stew tasted as bad as it looked , Taste less and dry , My husband left most of it very unappitising , I had salad it had 8 prawns on top of a sauce , The lettuce was brown , Terrible , We will not be eating here again , A total waste of money.

The till staff and floor staff were helpful and friendly. The store was well stocked and well signed.

Its a supermarket restaurant so no great expectations however I am getting my coffee from the machine and noticed the milk low indication was on - I turned to one of the service staff in an attempt to be helpful and pointed it out - she turned to another member of staff who was doing something with the condiments and said when you have finished that can you fill the milk on this machine " As though I haven't enough to do" came the reply - not impressed when said in front of customers - there were no knives and I had to ask four times to get knives brought out - they were bringing them three at a time so it was a joke as customers rushed for the latest knife issue !! this was followed by a massive shouting match coming from the kitchen my breakfast came without an egg - I had nearly finished by the time they brought me one on a saucer. when we finished the meal we tried to comply with the polite notice that asked us to put our dishes in the trolley except there was no trolley - consequently customers left their dishes on the table meaning extra work for the staff - BAD MANAGEMENT!!

Love it here, had breakfast many times here before and love it each time. All the staff are friendly and would highly recommend for all the food and drinks they offer. Good food. Good drink. Good service

My husband and I visited Bridlington Morrison’s cafe with our two young children last Friday for dinner , kids got a sandwich box which they were happy with .

I normally love this for breakfast....but.....each time it is diffwrent and not how its portrayed at all....todays breakfast was all i can say disgusting and cold your staff should be taught how to present meals and present it the same way each time...was more like slapped on the plate. Dont think i will be having it again if thats how you employ staff to serve meals...no care!!!

Ordered our lunches as usual with dry toast for my wife (medical reasons).

As with our previous visits the food here represents fantastic value for money. A varied menu is available with special offers that allow you to feed the family without breaking the bank. The staff are busy but they are polite & friendly. We will be returning.

Well our visit this Summer was the first time we'd been in this Morrisons for some years.....and it really was a shock. I picked up a half dozen cups before I found a couple that were clean - and the tea was horrible. We didn't bother with the food. On the way out I went to Customer Services to tell them of our experience - three ladies chatting away, hardly busy. Ken Morrison would turn in his grave to see how standards have slipped.

Called in for breakfast and was told there will be a 3quarter of an hr wait as they were short staffed yet again ,heard others saying food cold and unpleasant .

Yes, we went in at 2pm for a "cuppa"....not sure what tea bags they are using but the tea was foul, worst ever. Tesco across the road doesn't have a café area so it was this one or head into the town. I wouldn't. IN ADDITION: the website claims on a Sunday the CAFE is Open to 4pm - NO IT ISNT! it closed last week prior to 3.15pm as we hoped to get a meal and it was already SHUT. Service is simply a joke and its joining the many cafes in the town that seem to want to be on their way home (on a Sunday) before 3.30pm making Brid and Brid morrisons café NO GO areas!

Well I feel like I live here as visit almost every day! Great store always clean and usually regularly full of everything you need at reasonable prices. Staff really friendly always smiling and helpful. Usual cafe with offers not bad coffee either.

Finalmente fui y pedí un reembolso después de esperar 45 minutos para postres. Encontramos una cola formada detrás de mí todos solicitando reembolsos para postres. No hay razones ni excusas de por qué, no vamos a volver seguro. Servicio pobre.

Called in for a tea and scone snack after hospital visit on 25 May about 2.15pmThere was only 1 cup left on the rack and mugs very badly stained inside-UGH! No-one on till so another customer went to find someone to take payment.Only 1 knife left in cutlery rack.Looked for a table and although this is a large café with several tables we only saw 4 that did not have dirty crockery and waste food on them. During the time we were there no-one cleared any of this-in fact customers were clearing and cleaning a table near us.This was the first time we had been there and it will definitely be the last!

Ate here one lunchtime and went for the paninis. One with chips and the other with side salad. Both meals were very nice and tasty. Service was a bit slow but great value.

Managers special, giant Yorkshire pudding with mince veg mash for£3.00 worth ever penny :) very clean, staff very friendly and helpful today, they now have little disabled ♿ stickers on the corner of tables, microwave and bottle warmer etc at the baby station.. Well done morrisons!!

The food is " mass produced " - unpalatable & so bad we took it back !! Better service from a Robot !

Very slow service at counter, wanted to order ham & cheese panini with chips, was told we don't do them, just toasted sandwiches, I asked why panini was advertised & the response, well we must of run out. It took 20 mins before we were served. It then took 55 mins for food to arrive, a toasted sandwich that was black & rock hard with cold chips & peas, scampi & chips with peas that was all cold & a child's meal of sausage, mash & peas, which was also very cold. So I just got my money back & left.

I can see that some money has been spent on refurbishing the cafe and to be fair it looks quite nice. But ......... when you only get a short lunch break it's almost impossible to take if here. The wait in the queue to buy your dry sandwich is almost unbearably slow. And just to add insult to injury there is a clock on the opposite wall so you can watch the hand moving around it's face as you stand and wish you'd gone elsewhere. So poor and slow service.

Went for lunch today, all day breakfast was ok, but painfully slow service! Also ordered pudding, which didn't arrive and had to go and ask, then another wait before it arrived. Very expensive and slow inadequate service.

as normal not enough staff to run the place took ages at the till and my wife had to wipe our table down, like all the others, the pots had been taken away but the tables had not been wiped down, typical of mr penny pinching morrison, wont pay for decent staff (if you pay peanuts you get monkeys).

What better way to start a new year than a good shop at Morrisons closely followed by a quick lunchtime treat in Morrison's cafe. Fast efficient courteous serviceWell done!

food hot and arrived promptly. exactly as expected as the same at all stores. the employer I must admit was very dirty re her uniform as though she had no regard for her appearance.

We have been in Bridlington for 4 days & have eaten here a couple of times. The choice of food was good as was the service. Buy a meal for £4.50 or more & get a free drink + a free kids meal then add a pudding for £1 more. This meant that 3 adults & 1 child all had a main meal + a drink + a pudding for £17.50. This is amazing value & we all left happy. When we next visit Bridlington we will be eating here again.

We had to wait fifteen minutes whilst the food was cooked. It was not worth waiting for.The bacon was cold and not cooked enough,the baked beans were tasteless,the mushrooms greasy,the fried bread soggy,the eggs over cooked ( I had extra egg instead of hash browns ) The one redeeming item was the sausage ,although it had obviously been cooked some time was tasty. The tea was stewed due to the tea bags having sat in a wet tea pot for hours. Not a good experience.

Every time I enter this cafe, you first of all stand at the vacant till waiting for what seems an eternity for a member of staff to come and stand behind it to take your order. The Till operative is delivering meals to tables and in and out of the kitchen and often tell you to "hang on a minute" whilst they go deliver some food! The cutlery is dirty, the cups are tea stained and the tables often uncleared and grease smeared. Food is perfectly acceptable however sometimes lukewarm and clearly been sat waiting to be carried out. I think the main problem is the lack of staff. And the ones that are there have little to no customer service skills and are bordering on pig ignorant. There's a couple of nice ladies but seldom rare are they front facing. Rude surly staff more often than not serve and seem lacking in the "brains" department. Some can barely string a sentence together. Manager needs to get a grip of the staff and hire some more, as this could be a brilliant cafe if problem areas are tackled head on!

We called on at morrisons knowing there was a cafe. On arrival the cafe was unattended by staff. We waited a few minutes and a giggling girl apeared from the back where the sound of more giggling was been emitted. There was no apology. The cafe area was unclean and it's was very obvious that no one really cared about it. The thought of the same staff preparing our food made us cringe so we walked out. That was the last time I went to a morrisons

Visited on our way to bridlinton for the day nice new cafe, the toilets very clean, friendly staff will visit again.

Friday 8th July 1300pm, called in for a bite to eat, usually do on Fridays, ordered fish&chips for two with garden peas and two teas, this cost £12.00. The previous Friday, for the same order the cost was £10.00. A rise of two pounds in one week. I know their custom is dropping off and has been for weeks now, but perhaps this is due to the inferior quality of the food, putting prices up is not going to encourage customers.

We were on holiday in the area ,so called in for some shopping then decided to have tea....We had fish and chips and tea .Lovely hot meals and two pots of refreshing tea [only a £1]..It was served quickly and the place was clean , what more can you want ?Visited 21st june

I have already applied one review at the time which was then "removed" for what ever reason! However on Friday 27th of May 16 me and my husband visited the Bridlington store in which we witnessed as what only can be described as a "thug" threatening the poor checkout girl he used language that was obscene and if that was not bad enough , when the "so called" manager came down to the scene he then to our utter disgust spoke to the poor girl like muck off his shoe , not once did he even attempt to help or listen only to dismiss her off the shop floor and then to our disbelief he began to appologise to this thug. After the visit we then went on to reporting this to the customer service team via the contact number on the website. I spoke to a lady who assured me she would forward this on as not only was I appalled at the management that day but concerned about the girl, however my concerns did not get passed on. I would not advice shopping here as it is quite clear that they tolerate any kind of behaviours even those which purge a risk to there own staff. I for one would not like to think of my daughter working here!

Visited with my mum after going shopping. We both had burgers, I had a southern fried chicken burger, she had beef. Both came with chips. It was hard to eat my burger as the bun they had used for it was too big and ended up falling apart which was disappointing. Also had a lemonade which was okay but it was a bit flat. I had a piece of victoria sponge cake which was better than the burger. I would only visit the café as a last resort.

I have complained on a number of occasions about the quality of food, the availability of food, the time it takes for hot food to come out, amongst other things, the last two times have been promised compensation vouchers (I am not one of these who complain for this reason), I am still waiting.On our last visit we had sadwiches, sorry meant to say sandwiches, the cheese and tom ones were stale, the only option for free crisps were salt & vinegar, I explained I was intolerant to vinigar, the lass attempting to shelf refill, rather than getting some plain crisps from the back, just took 2 packets from ready made up snack plates, plain lazy.Then got to the coffee machine, no cups, had to ask, paid for food and drink, went for cutlery, no tea spoons, no forks.

My husband and I went after work for a quick hot meal as we were not feeling well. We had eaten here before last year so didn't expect what arrived. The food delivered looked unappetising and tasted worse. Shame on you Morrisons to charge customers for food of this poor quality and slopped onto a plate. Disgusted and won't be back.

Cafe in a shop. What more do you expect!! Old folk love it, moms with kids seem to like it. Not my cup of tea. Foods ok. It is what it is.

Did some shopping here including lottery. Also had lunch in the cafe over two days. Very nice. Bought magazines to read and sent off the puzzles. Hope to win !!!!!!!!!

The food was good value for money, I had the little breakfast which did have a large amount of beans on there, okay if you like a lot of beans, however the bacon was virtually cold. My partner had the large breakfast, which again was good value for money, he couldn't find his fried bread initially and was brought some toast as well. He didn't have any complaints about the breakfast. The restaurant seemed in good order, plates and table were kept clean.

Lovely sandwiches, great price and convenient for a snack before shopping. Shame the queue was not managed better as it took ages to get served.

Cheap tacky food for a cheap tacky price. Most of the food is reheated or microwaved.Standard meals without any fuss and plonked on the plate. If you are not fussy then pop into Morrisons.
