ABSOLUTELY Amazing. Great buffet. Good selection of drinks. Lovely staff that went out of the way to make our time there extremely pleasure able . Definitely recommend to anyone.

The Cock & Bottle is our first choice when out in Skipton, great beer and food. Topped off by a fantastic team that make this one of the most welcoming pubs in the area

The Royal Shepherd Inn is a fabulous, friendly, traditional pub. We ate here twice and the food was delicious and portions were generous. Friendly staff and warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent honest pub food. We went twice during our weeks holiday in Gargrave. Lovely friendly atmosphere with well kept real ale.

Went for tea here this evening. I ordered a mixed grill. They asked me how I wanted my steak, I asked for medium rare, it came out over well done and was as tough as an old boot to chew. I’m not one for complaining usually but as the steak was un-edible and was the part of my meal I was looking forward to most I had to say something to the waiter. The waiter was professional and was very sorry and asked if I would like to speak to the manager, I said, no there is no need for that, I’m happy to settle for a free pint. He said he would speak to the manager for me. I waited for about 15 mins and eventually spoke to the waiter again and he just said sorry mate we can’t do anything. Terrible management and terrible chef! What’s the point in asking someone how they want their steak cooked if they just do the opposite anyway? Edit: The owner has replied to this review asking me to contact them to resolve this. I did give them the chance to resolve this when I was at their establishment but unfortunately for them they didn’t resolve it. It seems they only care when they receive bad public reviews :/

Went to the Queensway for tea with my family and it was fantastic! The portions were big, filling and worth the money! 2 for 11.99 is a bargain! Brilliant staff including our server Jojo our server was ( who was very bubbly) and great atmosphere.

25 people of retirement age were served with a splendid 3 course lunch from a pre-selected menu. The food was delicious and served by the friendly staff. Elaine & Brian were most helpful with the menu choices and with the organisation of the dining room to seat us all comfortably. Thank you to you all

Love the Fleece - go regularly for lunch. Food was excellent as always but new front of house man absolutely miserable. Was ignored for almost 5 minutes on entering - no ‘hello’ or ‘I’ll just be a minute’. No smiles, no chat. Staff here have always been exceptional so it was a bit of a shock. Didn’t let him spoil our lunch though.

We went to Kelham island for a wander around and encountered the fat cat pubs celebrating 43 years of existence. We had a great afternoon and evening with live music, great beers and great food the pie and chips were outstanding thanks.

Absolutely fabulous fish and chips, nothing better than in good weather to sit at the bench and tables outside in the square and watch the world go by

Another visit to Barkers chippie. Cannot fault our foid. Freshly cooked fish & haggis. Good portion, very tasty. 10/10. We will be back. Thanks. 1st visit.Had fish & chips before going to Richmond Cinema. All freshly cooked, good portion size, friendly staff. Ordered haggis on arrival, ready in 10 minutes. Great local chippy. Keep up the good work

What a dirty and disgusting premise, crap staff, dirty room, bathroom full of mould, room smelt damp and of smoke, I would never stay here again I would rather sleep rough.

Country pub with friendly locals. Treat ourselves to the ribeye steak, did not disappoint, so flavourful, melted in our mouths, will be back soon, the home made meat pie is to die for too

Bar staff were ok, maybe alittle distant.. atmosphere was good, lively music, decent priced drinks.

Really nice coffee and homemade food. Friendly helpful staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Child and dog friendly.
