We visited Corner Grill House with friends. It is fab. 3 of us ate from the set menu, great value at £24. Prawns in white wine, Duck pate, and Flat Iron steaks were great. Porterhouse steak was juicy and tasty. Service was impeccable, special mention to Agata. We'll be back!!

Loved this little shop! We were drawn inside by the incredible smell of fresh cheese scones. Will be making a regular stop for a cheese fix every time I visit York now! Knowledgeable and friendly service. 10/10. Nom nom! 😋

Called in here just before Xmas - coffee was perfect! If you like your coffee, this is the place to go. We also sampled the fruit cake - equally delicious. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Great restaurant with lots farm to table elements. Overall a very good experience with good food and professional service. Some farm to table concepts used throughout the course and particularly for the appetiser. Appreciate the effort but I think the home made ham is not particularly good if I am honest, taste like a Tesco ham, I understand it is not easy to cured own ham, but, if you are confident enough to serve it, I will expect more. The leek purée that serve with potato is a bit over seasoned for me as well. It is acceptable when eating with the potato but if you have a small sip of the purée on its own, you better prepare to drink extra glass of water. I think overall the main dish surprise me more as I found the scallops really a show stopper! A really huge one and it tasted good as well. Wine paring is also great as well as it is on a special offer. It’s a good experience and would worth a visit if you are in York.

The wife and I stumbled across this place while visiting York for the weekend. There is a menu outside which to be honest, I thought was expensive at first. There were 2 nice seats outside to accommadate us and our dogs so we decided to stay. I ordered Eggs benedict with ham, one of the best, if not the best that I have ever had. The wife was equally impressed with her Pastrami and stilton Ciabatta, describing it as delicious, the bread was thick yet soft and served with a nicely dressed side salad. I had a nice coffee, the wife had tap water. The bill was £28 which considering how nice the meal was worth every penny. I would say that if you are looking for cheap eats then there is a Greggs around the corner, if you appreciate good quality food and don't mind paying for it then this is the place to go. We will certainly return.

went to Ate 0’Clock last night for my birthday meal with my husband and daughter and we all give it 10/10! We were warmly welcomed by Harry, which really set the tone for us. He was so obliging and professional and did this all with such lovely smiles! The restaurant was clean, loved the decor and the food extremely delicious with great portion sizes. Just go along - you won’t regret it!
