We got Bishops to provide catering service for an office social. The food was very well received and great value (we went for package C). Shaun was very friendly and organised when we were making the plan. I would recommend Bishops to anyone and I’m sure we will be getting them again for an office social in the future. The mutton curry, Escovitch fish and dumplings were the firm favourites of a selection of very good food! Food provided was Halal and had vegetarian options.

Absolutely incredible food, lovely atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. You can byob for a corkage fee of only £3pp so can bring a bottle of wine and get a bit sloshed to make the food taste even more incredible. Came here for 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend, was very special. Compliments to the chef, best food I have eaten in a long time!

What a fantastic experience! We came for the owl show at breakfast and our kids absolutely loved it. It’s something we will all remember forever. The staff are all brilliant, very friendly and really sell the role of witches and wizards. Massively recommend!

I have taken my elderly mother here, a few times now. Every time the service and food is excellent, you can tell it is all homemade with quality ingredients. A real find with real people who cook and serve you. Keep up the good work.

First time I had been in here the band wasn't my cup of tea but now I know they have live groups on I will definitely keep a look out for other bands and return

Busy lunchtime sandwich venue, also with a hot food menu. Cheap, tasty and cheerful, in a lovely canalside location.

Food was decent. Not too bad price wise. Fish was a good size for the special. Some unique clientele in the shop during my visit (to be polite). Staff were nice. Also the place takes card.

Saturday 1st March. Drove up from Milton Keynes to few a car and needed a full English. My mate found this cafe on the Internet and not far from the garage. He suggested the belly buster but we both settled for the large. Food arrived really quickly and nice and hot. He managed to eat it all but I failed miserably!! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
