Located on bus routes with parking near by. We went with my son and 4 of his friends (with family) to celebrate his birthday. All the children were neurodivergent, the staff went out of they way to accommodate and adjust, ensuring each child had a brilliant visit whilst ensuring the rest of whizarding school had the best time. The staff are amazing, keeping in character at all times. We love visiting here.

Absolutely delightful experience! There were 4 of us. Myself, my husband, 6 year old daughter and 3 year old nephew. We all loved it, the little ones decided to paint pottery and they thoroughly enjoyed it. It kept them very busy and entertained throughout! They had the apprentices tea which was well priced with lots of sweet treats! The staff are lovely and friendly, we enjoyed seeing the owls and the lady shared lots of interesting facts and answered any questions we had. Pre-book to avoid disappointment! You can redeem the £5 per person paid at booking on crafts/ food. We went on Sunday and my daughter is already asking to go back to do more crafting! Thank you for such a lovely time. We will certainly be back!

Unwind the magic & let the mysteries flow! We attended the eat and drink with flying squadron of amazing owls! I can’t exaggerate how informative, captivating the whole experience was. Brilliant for families, kids and adults alike. Food, atmosphere & overall experience was highly reasonable with a vast gift shop too. I can’t give too much away because I don’t wish to be turned into a toad…. But it is time to for you to book in and become enchanted too!

I came here with my 3 children as we are all huge harry potter fans and wanted to have a immersive wizarding experience and we were not dissapointed! From the moment we stepped through the door the staff were welcoming and engaging, really playing into the theme which we absolutely loved! The owl experience was fantastic! The owls owner really made an effort to make sure everyone got to have an up close and personal experience with each owl and was very knowledgeable on the birds, taking time after the display to go around, take photos and answer questions. The cafe itself is decorated beautifully with lots of Harry potter themed items and a lovely shop with merchandise that myself and the kids really enjoyed looking around. We came from Cheshire for the experience and we would definitely come back again as it is well worth every penny. A thoroughly enjoyable experience I can highly reccomend.

This place is MAGICAL! So much so that our kids wanted to stay, even under threat of being turned into goblins and made to clean the toilets. We are now being asked to turn their bedrooms into replicas of this cafe. It is so beautiful. The magic started from our entrance with the wonderful Sir Bazil welcoming us in and explaining the magical way to order drinks and food. We came for the owl display, which was wonderful. Where else do you get to sit in a gorgeous magical cafe and watch owls fly around you?! Our drinks were delivered quickly and it was explained to us upfront that we would have food after the owl display - makes perfect sense. The owl display was lovely though at times it was hard to hear Professor Alba as she moved around the room. We were all spellbound though and it was lovely to have the owls so close. Food was brilliant. Kids loved their nutella pancakes and apprentice tea, and our toasted sandwiches made a perfect brunch. We stayed longer to do crafts - youngest made a wand and eldest made a stunning potion bottle, and really enjoyed mixing their potion to go in the bottle. We adored Sir Bazil's magic card tricks as well. Good sir, you are brilliant! The only reason I'm dropping a star is that we were told by Sir Bazil, on asking, that our oldest could keep the cauldron from their apprentice's tea, but he had left for the day by the time we left, and the "owl lady", on clearing our table, didn't seem to accept this as truth and argued that this wouldn't be the case and normally they would charge. Our children are autistic (which we had advised when booking) and our eldest felt so anxious about being challenged on this, despite knowing it was true, that we had to leave the cauldron behind. Even offering to pay for it was too distressing as they felt they had done something wrong. These mixed messages are incredibly hard for autistic children to understand. So we left feeling a little bit sad about this. It was a very small thing, which would have given our child a lot of joy but instead caused them stress. I really feel like this could be an amazing safe space for neurodiverse people, with some care. I should also say that the service really dropped off after the owl event. There are a few young people serving who are not on the ball and really need to pay more attention to customers. This is a place that deserves to thrive. Board game nights, D&D nights, tarot evenings, mediums, cosplay events....just a few thoughts. if I lived nearby I would be here every day.

The food is basic but tasty and there is something for everyone including vegan and gluten free. Very reasonably priced. They do crafts but I’d advise either booking crafts when you book or going for lunch as we were too late at 4pm for crafts. Also if you go late order cake at the time you order food as they looked amazing but we couldn’t have any as the kitchen had closed. Overall a lovely experience and will be back

Only 2 of us, so there was more than enough space, although a family would be easily as comfortable. Plenty of nice wizardly touches - even in the loo! The master bedroom is suitably decadent, with a very comfy four poster. The lounge boasts a projector screen TV - perfect for watching a HP film or 3. Downstairs at the Cauldron, the food and drinks were plentiful and yummy, and to top it off had a wonderful owl experience getting up close to the wonderful birds. Some being Harry Potter merchandise. They food and drinks were lovely. The only unfortunate thing was some of the items weren't available but staff apologised and offered alternatives. (Hopefully I will get to try what I wanted on my next visit) The Owl show was amazing. There is a room where you can see them before the show and a table full of books on owls. They had 5 different Owls and 3 got shown in The Flying Squad doing flight around the room, while being told information about each owl. After the show we got our food and we were allowed to see Franklin one of the owls close up to take a photo and to ask any questions. The staff was attentive and full of personality. I would say the only thing for me is that it was quite noisy due to having two kid parties that day. Other than that it was a great time and I think I'll definitely come again.

Visually this place does look really cool and has a nice atmosphere. We visited today for my daughter’s birthday. The host made our daughter’s day by getting everyone to sing happy birthday to her and let her choose a treat, that was a nice touch. We went to see the eat, drink and owls. The children enjoyed the show but it was a shame with the table that we were shown to, it was right in the corner (near the toilets) and the lady with the owls had her back to us a lot or kept walking further to the back of the room, obviously to show the owls flying but where me and my husband were sat and the position of the table we struggled to see, which was a shame as that’s what we came to see the owls. My 3 kids said at times they couldn’t really see 3 of the 4 owls that came out. Food wise it sounds a lot more exciting on the menu than what it actually is, it’s filling by the amounts but nothing special. We had the apprentice tea’s and the wizards tea’s. Drinks my husband enjoyed his milkshake but everyone else had a mocktail and it pretty much was just lemonade in flavour wise. The place felt really cold as well and one of my kids kept his coat on the whole time being there. Over all the kids said they enjoyed it but it’s a little expensive (just over £110 for 5 of us for 1.5 hours) for the quality of food and the experience, is a shame because it does sound like they do a lot here in terms of activities and events, just not sure if we would come here again, when you compare the price to a full day out somewhere instead.

My daughter booked for myself and her brothers and sister to come for a treat before I start my chemotherapy next week, its the first time weve been, ive never even heard of it before but thought it sounded good and something a bit different, when we arrived Arabella (i think thats her name) greeted us at the door, showed us our table and made the effort to make us feel welcome, she took our food and drinks order, there was a little boy on the table behind us making a wand so my 6 year old daughter wanted to make one, I asked another member of staff and she said she would bring the things over, a bit of time went passed but nothing had been brought so I went over to her at the bar and asked again and she said sorry she had forgot and will bring it over, she still didn't bring anything over then about 20 minutes later Arabella came over and said that they don't do crafts on event days, meaning with the owls, she couldn't apologise enough, she was lovely and the lady with the owls, but I felt the rest of the staff didn't have a clue what they were doing, I found it very expensive for what we had and went away feeling like I had been over charged and disappointed, we travelled approx 45 minutes each way to come, I wouldn't come again or recommend the place

Came here last saturday with my friend and her daughter, cannot say much more other than it was an amazing experience. The young waitress with the flower crown was incredible during our visit and made us feel so welcome, she always had a smile on her face and never once dampened our experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and will definitely be returning!!

This is just an overpriced coffee shop with crafts which you can get else where. I was told I would have a magical experience however I had a horrible experience. The service was slow, staff were rude, food missing from our order, (which we found out from the kitchen it was never ordered) I ordered multiple crafts which never came, I had to chase the wand which should have taken 15 mins but took 45, then I was over charged when I purchased items from the shop which I had to show the price to the servant who had to give me cash as they could not refund my card. I received an email asking for feedback when my visit was over which I gave however I am still awaiting a response from my visit on 23rd Feb. When I emailed again I was told the head wizard was away and would be in touch yet I am still awaiting a respond. I openly tell friends and family to avoid and save their money.

We first visited 2 or 3 years ago and had a lovely time. The staff were lively and in character, the music was good and there was a visit from owls/eagles (I can't remember which). We visited today and we're very disappointed. The room felt much emptier than last time, may have been because we were the only ones in that half of the cafe while the other half was full making a very awkward atmosphere, but I am also sure that there was more to see last time. The staff were OK but nothing special. We had to shout out the magic serving spell 3 times to get any attention from staff and they didn't put on any panazz like last time. It's a shame this place has lost its magic.

Came for the owl experience. Had an amazing time, it was really informative. The owls got really close which was brilliant. I'd only suggest some low carb options for the breakfast menu. But that really would be nit picking, the atmosphere and effort for the staff is top notch! Can't wait to return.

Lovely visit to this quirky place if you haven't been you should visit. It's in a good location. Staff were fabulous the only thing I would criticise was the taste of the cake with the afternoon tea was kind of flavourless but everything else was spot on. Great experience

Really great venue; imaginatively decorated, friendly, helpful staff and great food (beautifully presented). We came for the Toddler group in which we got to sing, colour, play, dress up, have a story read AND acted out for us, and obviously wave magic wands. Great fun for all!

Came for my daughters 9th birthday and the staff could not be anymore helpful, friendly and generous if they tried. We all had an absolutely amazing time, adults included, when meeting the owls, enjoying our craft and food and looking round the gift shop. I've even earned loyalty points and gained rewards from this first visit. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you all so much!

I’ve just been here for my niece and nephew's 6th birthday and we have all had a really lovely time. The food and service was excellent, the place is done out really nicely, and they had an owl handler in who put on a lively and interesting show with four owls. The whole experience was a fantastic for kids and adults alike.
