Stopped by and was so impressed with this place. The atmosphere is super cozy and everything I was served was just so good. Really great coffee. I had the cuban sandwich and the way it was plated with tater tots and slaw made it feel like a kid's lunch, but for adults - and I mean that in a good way! Very satisfying and homely. I'll definitely be back.

Amazing brunch and Sunday Roast!

I would highly recommend afternoon tea here, it is exceptional! The food is really special and delicious and there is ample choice including for those with dietary requirements. The portion sizes were also extremely generous and the staff kindly provided us with boxes to take home what we couldn't eat. The staff were very hospitable and gave excellent service. 5/5 stars!

Ok, firstly, it's not cheap if that's what you want. That said, you get what you pay for and what I paid for was the best breakfast I've ever had, the best coffee I've ever had and some of the best service I've ever had. Absolutely 10 out of 10.

Quiet place, good for my autistic son. Booked for Sunday lunch and although despite being early for the second sitting, they'd run out of Sunday lunch. At 2pm on Sunday. Very disappointing and not sure if I'll go there again after that tbh

Wow! Many thanks to Ria and her amazing team for sorting out a fabulous afternoon tea party for my mum’s 80th birthday. The food was absolutely delicious ( and plentiful), the atmosphere was just right and the service amazing. We all had a great time and everyone that came is now raving about the food. Ria was fantastic with the planning and made everything super easy and smooth. I can not recommend Dysh enough! Thank you so much.

Encantadoras bebidas calientes esta mañana antes de una caminata benéfica en Endcliffe Park, luego llamado de nuevo para el almuerzo ligero. Estaba muy ocupado, así que se colocó en el anexo en la parte trasera. La comida era preciosa. Definitivamente volveremos a esta pequeña gentil. Just had the most wonderful breakfast here!!! Lovely vibe, really friendly and calm staff. The coffee was perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious. Really generous portions, and the tots were out of this world. I will be telling my friends about this place, and I'll be coming back soon!

Visité hoy con un amigo. Era un sábado, así que estaba muy ocupado. Después de casi 15 minutos se tomó un pedido de café y después de otra larga espera llegaron nuestros cafés. La comida probablemente tomó otra media hora, así que todo el proceso de obtener nuestra comida y bebidas tomó más de una hora. Tenga en cuenta que este lugar es muy caro también! Pagué alrededor de 15 libras por un bagel de pollo y menos de diez tator tots. Mi comida consistió en lo que sabía a bagel warburtons, media botella de salsa de hamburguesa, y una enorme losa de pollo frito. ¡No se pensó en la posibilidad de comerlo en absoluto! Beautiful! I usually just get a coffee from Dysh but this morning treated myself to a breakfast bagel and it was 10/10. Great food, great service will be coming back for more!

Delicious food and chai, great service bringing with over dog treats and water for the dogs. Slightly regret not buying a cake to take away as they looked great too. Main point for improvement was the acoustics, all hard surfaces so when it's busy (bank holiday when visited) the noise was a bit much. Very happy to recommend for most people, just might avoid/takeaway if visiting with someone hard of hearing or sound sensitive and it was going to be busy.

Update: a regular place for us on Saturday morning for tea and cake. Good coffee, decent selection of cakes. All good. A splendid experience, from service to food, and coffee! Will go again and take the Urchin with us! £25 for two, including drinks felt very reasonable. I booked a table for two, and I was glad I did as it became busy quite quickly. The service was prompt without feel rushed. The drinks arrived quickly. The menu is just the right size, quite a few options but nothing overwhelming. The food arrive quickly too and it was fantastic. The Croque Monsieur was great and the Chicken Parmo scrumptious [so am told]. Finally, the double espresso at the end, very good too.

Came for an afternoon tea with a girlfriend and my boys. Accommodated my request to change a couple of the items, the afternoon tea was lovely, we both loved it and leftovers to bring home as the portion was very generous. Husband had a tasty tots lunch and son had kids breakfast which they both enjoyed. Booked ahead as afternoon tea needed 24h notice, the place was fully occupied the whole time we were there. It's a short walk to Endcliffe park as well. Would recommend.

We came to Dysh for the first time this week as we wanted to celebrate Eid with an afternoon tea treat. We were definitely not disappointed. The food was all amazing and freshly made, cheese cake to die for! Light and airy sandwiches and all our drinks that came were nice and hot which is a big deal for us. Customer service was brilliant despite us having noisy children at our table. We would definitely recommend and definitely be coming back again.

We go to Dysh regularly, which is merit to the staff and owner. Everything is perfect, there isn’t a single fault. The menu is varied, the quality of the food is top notch and the service is fab. Strongly recommend!

It was my first time visiting this place, and I couldn't wait to go back! Besides an immediate welcoming ambiance, the staff was so sweet. The food was amazing! Every dish had such intention , intention to be full of flavor, and to surpass the expected. Loved every bite. Highly recommend!!

Been back to Dysh several times for afternoon tea. Amazing all-round and they rotate the selection of your afternoon tea, keeping it fresh and original. Caters to vegetarian/vegan diets as well. From starter to main to dessert, you can sample so many great flavours. Topped off with friendly and helpful staff with a chic modern interior.

Probably the best breakfast I've ever had! Brilliant food, which was fresh and flavored really well. The staff were great and the atmosphere was very calm. Highly recommend.

First visit for brunch. Good range of dishes, well executed (love the tater tots), and coffee spot on. Service excellent. It was £20 per head for a main dish and a drink - yes I agree costs have to be passed on but it makes it likely to be an occasional treat rather than a regular event. Will be back though.

Lovely cafe, a bit on the pricey side but food delicious. Nice idea of the soft area but this needs a bit more attention when it come to cleaning as there was dirt and food residue on a lot of the toys.

Great place to visit if you want to splash out a bit. Also good if you just want coffee & cake. Relaxed, friendly, welcoming atmosphere, which is also dog-friendly. I took my parents (aged 85) for lunch & we were shown to a table with bench seats. The staff immediately got chairs for my parents & nothing was too much trouble. Chilled water is automatically brought to the table. The food was delicious, brunch-style, but with an individual twist and generous portions. It is particularly impressive that every dish (apart from the croissant at the moment) is available gluten-free. My Dad loved his Dysh breakfast, commenting especially on the delicious bread, sausages & crispy bacon, and ate black pudding for the 1st time ever! Mum enjoyed the pork poutine with cheese curds & I had summer ratatouille tots with chicken. I can also heartily recommend the desserts & cakes, especially the freshly-baked, just out of the oven, custard tart, which was absolutely stunning.

I recently visited Dysh on 'Eccy Road' in Sheffield. It is a small, cozy shop with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always happy to help you choose the perfect tea or coffee, and they are knowledgeable about the different types of tea available. Dysh has a wide variety of loose leaf teas to choose from, They also have a selection of coffees, smoothies, and other drinks. The food menu includes a variety of breakfast and lunch, as well as gluten-free options. I ordered a pot of Earl Grey tea, which was delicious. The tea was perfectly steeped and had a strong, flavorful aroma. I ordered a Royale something - I forget. I upgraded to tatertots to replace the toast. The poached eggs were delicious, hollandaise delisious, the salmon was yummy. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a great cup of tea or coffee in a friendly and welcoming environment. Almost deserving 5 stars with fresh homemade selection of food and drinks. The only disappointment was the overcooked poached eggs. Else it was perfect!

I love it here. Fab service. Dog friendly. Food is delicious. Lovely independent business. Whoever was saying it is pricey, I completely disagree, it's amazing value. Coffee is good too and the cakes are yummy. Outside space is nice to sit in or the window seats, especially nice to sit at if you're on your own. The owner is lovely and makes sure everyone is looked after, the other staff are also lovely. Can be quite noisy in here on the weekends, so that's the only thing I can think you might not appreciate (say if you were neurodivergent or just prefer somewhere quiet, it might be a bit much, but then a lot of cafes are noisy, it's just a relatively small yet busy space). Would highly recommend.

Fab post parkrun brunch here! Loved the vegan options. Shame the chai latte wasnt vegan, but the hot chocolate was and was super tasty! Very friendly staff too. Full of compliments!

It can be very pricey at the restaurant; however the food is worth it. We did get forgotten about for a bit, had to ask for water about three times before someone actually brought it. With the tater tots I think it's better without the extra meat as it gets a little too much with all the extras.

Loved this brunch café. Very friendly. Had the French toast made with a croissant and served with yoghurt and berry compote. To die for! Real find. Reasonable prices giveb the quality. Highly recommended.

They did apologise for the sluggish service due to staff shortage which is fine however they didnt turn any turn ups away or warn us that this may be the case. Having said that this is a nice addition to the scene in this bit of town and Id try them again

Came with my daughter for a bottomless brunch experience on a Wednesday lunchtime. I had the vegan breakfast with an added egg and black pudding which was delicious and we managed 4 cocktails each. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Would def go back again for more cocktails or for coffee and cake.

It's a shame to give this about the food but I was pretty disappointed. The atmosphere of the place and service is very good, so is the coffee. However the tater tots with beans and two poached eggs was pretty naff. Mostly as the beans themselves were nothing special, not much better than from a can. Other food being served looked good so I'd try it again. But still, but of a shame.

Consistently excellent quality every time. The vegan breakfast is amazing (and I'm not even vegan!), service is always friendly and welcoming and the food never disappoints. The hot chocolate is to die for!

It was the anniversary of dad's death today, we lost him 2 years ago. Based on word of mouth we thought Dysh would be a nice place to remember dad. How wrong we were. The English Breakfast tea was like dish water. The poached eggs on toast were luke warm, the toast was dry. Mum sent her all day breakfast back twice for being cold, the second time there was no toast. An extremely expensive experience at a time of emotional upset. We will never return

I'm so sorry but it's not for me anymore. Popped in mid morning with a friend for coffee and the person that served us couldn't have looked more miserable or been more unwelcoming. Perhaps he was having a bad morning but he made us feel as though we were being an imposition. It's back to the 'always friendly' Clarrie's Kitchen for us.

Really expensive, over £30 for mediocre 1x breakfast (dried up black pudding tots, dried mushrooms, no seasoning), 1x Yorkshire Ruben and 2x hot drinks. Staff were friendly. But won’t be returning.

Visited for breakfast this morning absolutely delicious. I had the cooked breakfast, the meat was high quality and the little touches such as the homemade relish and black pud tots were so tasty! My partner had the eggs royale which again looked very instagramable.. staff were super friendly we will be back very soon

What a lovely place! Staff are so friendly, they made us feel very welcomed and the lunch was delicious with many options to choose from. We sat outside in the back area which was surprisingly warm for a cold day. Dog friendly and lots of treats for them. We’ll be coming back.

Our daughter is going to Sheffield uni to do her masters, so we drove from Lancashire to see her accommodation, decided to get something to eat and drink, saw this place as I was driving so parked up and went in, so glad we did, very friendly staff and the food was excellent and delicious also the coffee was nice and hot, I think we will be calling again when she moves down here, I think it took them a few minutes to ask if we were from Lancashire 😂

Went here recently having been recommended the breakfast/brunch options and will definitely be going back. There's a lovely selection of breakfast dishes available with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. A particular treat on the breakfast was the Black Pudding tots and the relish on the side. Coffee was delicious with a range of milk options available. All the cakes I could see were also listed as gluten free. Tried the custard tart and cheesecake, both of which was delicious. Would highly recommend here and would be tempted to go back for afternoon tea or Sunday lunch.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great food.

We've been here a number of times now and have tried a lot of different dishes. The food, drink and service is always absolutely brilliant. The food is always really fresh and tasty.

Really nice food. Just found it a little bit pricey as had ice cream with my cake but was not told it would be £2 for a single scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
