Good old fashioned traditional Yorkshire Cafe. Enjoyable hot breakfast & tea cooked fresh to order . Negative, would have preferred butter on toast instead of magarine.

We accidently discovered this cafe while hunting around Whitby for something more "homely". The staff were very accommodating for our party of 7. They ensured we got seated and looked after us all the step of the way. The food was plentiful, tasty, and very reasonably priced. There was a good selection that suited both adults and children. If you want to avoid the mass of marauding tourists and seaguls. Take a stroll up the hill to Stokers.

I visited this lovely little tea room with my grandson and was very impressed with the food and service. There was a great selection of cakes; I had the lemon cake which was delicious, and my grandson had the children's lunch bag. There were plenty of tables both inside and out. The tea was served in a proper china cup with teapot. Everywhere was clean. The service was wonderful. I would highly recommend a visit.

We came across Whitby Eat n Treats by accident - our usual place we use on a day visit was closed. We didn’t know WEaT was there. The staff were welcoming and polite. The surroundings were fresh, and the menu was extensive. We each chose a full breakfast (served all day), which were excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was good. The cafe is accessible to wheelchairs, and has a bathroom on the ground floor. We were very impressed and look forward to returning again. We could thoroughly recommend Whitby EatsnTreats - and certainly the full breakfast!

Having visited a few years ago we ventured back to enjoy this dog friendly venue not aware that it has changed hands since we last went. The atmosphere was completely different and didn’t appear to be as dog friendly. (Used have jars of dog treats throughout) Saying that water was available on request for pooches. We had drinks and soup and a roll from the lunch specials. Today being ‘Homemade Tomato Soup’ (exact wording from the menu). Unfortunately this soup wasn’t simply a tomato soup, it was extremely spicy and left lips tingling and a sweat on my face!! Now some would love this, but I do not enjoy spicy food and would therefore not have orders this had I known. We mentioned this to the owner who offered some cream which would cool it down a little, if necessary. We advised her to change her menu to say spicy soup! The drinks were delicious and other food did look nice.

Just called for a drink when passing, and so glad I did. The hot chocolate was gorgeous and hot (usually others ive tried from different outside vendors tend to be tepid at best), the staff friendly, and was great value for money. Would definitely recommend you try here. Great little place with fantastic views too!

O dear. Loved this place: young enthusiastic staff, wide variety of gins and other interesting drinks, super salads, open and closed sandwiches. Our Whitby destination alongside a good wet fish shop. Now just another caff. Good luck to the ladies running it but it needs to be smartened and the grubby menus replaced. We should have known when we arrived at 1pm on a sunny midterm day: deserted quadrangle and mostly empty indoors.

The food there was really good, however it is very expensive, ÂŁ8 for ONE milkshake! However, the milkshake was easily the best drink I've ever had. The experience there was really good, and the restaraunt was well decorated with halloween decorations such as skeletons. It had very kind workers as well! I would recommend for you to go there for tea, because it is a very good place and not very busy either(well when we went there). I would recommend it for people who love food like chips, burgers and milkshakes(american food). Overall, it was a very fun time but it was expensive.

3 of us called last night for dinner, and all had the cod, which was delicious a good sized portion of very thick white flakey fish, absolutely no issue with the food, the staff were lovely but the spoiler was the price of the drinks £6.70 for a pint of John Smith ! £4.29 for a 330 ml bottle of 0% larger and a bottle of coke £3.25 . You are seriously having a laugh. I expect to pay a little more than bar prices but that is ridiculous. If we had gone to Trencher which was our other choice for the evening the beer would have been £2 pint cheaper and the alcohol free larger £1 .29 cheaper . Unfortunately we won’t return Trenchers next time .

Carrying the wonderfully Victorian healthy vibe through to 2024. Excellent set-up! Ordered some baps for a friend down south, they arrived perfectly and it made her day đŸŒ»

The food is always superb, tonight we had chosen a meal from the Specials board. “The Whitby Chip Shop Board” I can’t stress enough how delicious this sharer board for two was. With mouthwatering fish and locally sourced sausages cooked in a light crispy batter, beautifully tasting cod and smoked applewood fish cakes, breaded Whitby scampi, mushy peas, gravy, bread and butter, triple cooked chips and tartare sauce. Definitely one to choose next time - let’s hope it’s a regular on the already extensive menu

This cafe is lovely. The food is really good but the service is what will have me coming back. Also super dog friendly which was great.
