Whitby Museum Tearoom in Scarborough

We stumbled across this place whilst wandering around the old town. It’s near the swing bridge on Grape Street Small menu so we tried most of it - everything we had was great. Loved the kimchi dumplings and the sushi. The bowl of delight which I forget the name of was delicious as was the sweet chilli chicken. All freshly cooked and tasty! We will return to try what we missed!! It was very reasonably priced, friendly service and can’t recommend enough.

Lovely cute little tea room. We will definitely be going here again when we next visit the Bay. Owner was so lovely and kind, giving us recommendations for new places to explore. 👍

My wife and I visited last night for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We loved it - the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The complimentary homemade bread, hummus and oil was a real treat along with the pallet cleanser between courses. The food and menu choice we thought was exceptional, as was the wine (Chablis). Brilliant atmosphere. A fantastic evening - definitely recommended.

Really love the Lighthouse café in Filey & always have lunch there when on holiday and will be back in Filey in May to enjoy it again!!! 😊 So if you want a lovely lunch and great service visit the Lighthouse tearoom it's Top!!!
