We accidently discovered this cafe while hunting around Whitby for something more "homely". The staff were very accommodating for our party of 7. They ensured we got seated and looked after us all the step of the way. The food was plentiful, tasty, and very reasonably priced. There was a good selection that suited both adults and children. If you want to avoid the mass of marauding tourists and seaguls. Take a stroll up the hill to Stokers.

I visited this lovely little tea room with my grandson and was very impressed with the food and service. There was a great selection of cakes; I had the lemon cake which was delicious, and my grandson had the children's lunch bag. There were plenty of tables both inside and out. The tea was served in a proper china cup with teapot. Everywhere was clean. The service was wonderful. I would highly recommend a visit.

We came across Whitby Eat n Treats by accident - our usual place we use on a day visit was closed. We didn’t know WEaT was there. The staff were welcoming and polite. The surroundings were fresh, and the menu was extensive. We each chose a full breakfast (served all day), which were excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was good. The cafe is accessible to wheelchairs, and has a bathroom on the ground floor. We were very impressed and look forward to returning again. We could thoroughly recommend Whitby EatsnTreats - and certainly the full breakfast!

Late family lunch on a Saturday. Great food selection and everything fresh and vibrant. We had two soups (mushroom and a curry coconut) and both were amazing. A hot sandwich which came with a delicious side salad. Finally a Halloumi salad bowl which my wife really enjoyed. Great restaurant and name. Will definitely be back on our next visit.

Our family party of 13 booked this place for breakfast on NYE. We were greeted and seated by lovely welcoming staff. Everyone’s food arrived with not much of a wait at all (being quite a large party we usually find someone’s food comes later than everyone else’s, or orders mixed up) but everything arrived at once and all correct. The whole party enjoyed their food which was all hot and absolutely delicious! Visiting Whitby on NYE for the past 20 years this was the most efficient and smooth service we’ve ever experienced as a large party. Would definitely recommend and will be revisiting soon. Thank you!

3 of us called last night for dinner, and all had the cod, which was delicious a good sized portion of very thick white flakey fish, absolutely no issue with the food, the staff were lovely but the spoiler was the price of the drinks £6.70 for a pint of John Smith ! £4.29 for a 330 ml bottle of 0% larger and a bottle of coke £3.25 . You are seriously having a laugh. I expect to pay a little more than bar prices but that is ridiculous. If we had gone to Trencher which was our other choice for the evening the beer would have been £2 pint cheaper and the alcohol free larger £1 .29 cheaper . Unfortunately we won’t return Trenchers next time .

With the skinner street shop being closed we visited the shop on Baxter gate. We were served with a delicious coffee accompanied by a naughty piece of cake. Plenty of choice on the menu and can also buy cakes and other baked goods from the shop at the front of the cafe

Had a delicious vegan breakfast each (myself and my friend). Best Vegan breakfast I've had, LOVED the buttered spinach, nice touch. Great service, lovely ambience, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to return. Keep up the good work Sharmen and the team xxx
